Successfull time at World Dog Show in Helsinki 2025!

Last week I went on a little dogshow adventure with my partner in crime Malin. We took the ferry with her caravan to Åbo in Finland and drove to Helsinki.
First of all we met up with Colins finish son Akimba and his "little brother" Kadamo I Want to Break Free "Bengo". I haven't seen Bengo since he moved from Sweden at Christmas time to is was good to see how beautiful he has become.
After that visit we found a parkingspot near the showarena where we spend the evening and night.
On Thursday it was time for the Circuit show (speciality show) with 85 ridgeback being judged by Patrik Cederlöf, Sweden.
I had my babygirl Kadamo A Kind of Magic "Maggie" from the Queen-litter (Nada x Soro) with me. She turned 9 months only just over a week before the show so I did not have big expectations.
But oh did she do well! She was a bit unsure in the ring especially moving with other handlers running close behind us, but stood like a statue and did not flinch during the judge handling of her. She won the class giving her the title HeCJW-25 and her first finnish JCAC and JCACIB!
She got to compete with the big and beautiful girls for Best Bitch where she made it to 3rd Best Bitch with RCAC!
Amazing debute for this young beauty! She got to compete against the Best Junior male and was rewarded Best Opposite Sex.
Her critique translated to Swedish:

Excellent type. Feminine wellshaped head that could have more lower jaw. Well-shaped eyes. Well-placed ears. Good croup. Correct ridge. Typical front & rear angulation. Nice strong paws. Moves well.

Malin had "only" SEJW-22 SEW-22 EUJW-23 NORDJW-23 NORDW-23 SEW-23 JCIB SEVCH RLDN RLDF SEUCH FIUCH NUCH DKUCH Kadamo Can Y’ See It Now “Leo” entered to the circuit show. He was placed 3rd in Championclass but no placement in best male.

After the show we headed out of town to find a place to park for the night. We ended up in  forest near a lake so nice area to walk the dogs. We stayed there until the afternoon the next day before heading back towards the showground and the World Winner Show on Saturday.
This time the breed entry was 127 and divided to two judges. Males was judged by Ilaria Biondi De Ciabatti (Peru) and bitches and Best of Breed by Justine Blyth (AUS).
First out was our juniorgirls Atria Eta Leonis Evolution "Chloe" and HeCJW-25 Kadamo A Kind of Magic "Maggie".
They both did really well in the large class gaining Excellent.

Chloes critique:
Strongly made but elegant. Pleasing head of correct proportions. Skull flat. Correct wedge shaped muzzle. Clean neck. Good forechest. Front straight. Would like a little more length of forearm as she moves a little higher in hindquarters. Well ribbed back. Good hindquarters. Moved okay. Good ridge.

Maggies critique:
Elegant, athletic bitch of lovely type. Good length of head. Skull flat, not too broad. Correct ears, used to her advantage. Clean neck into well laid shoulders. Good forechest. Straight fronts down to good feet. Good oval rib and well ribbed back to strong, well angulated hindquarters. Topline level. Tail carriage correct. Effortless true movement, true coming and going. Good ridge.

This lovely critique got Maggie picked for top 4 and my little baby girl finished 2nd Best Junior! That meant just one dog away from the Junior World Winner title, but to be viceJWW-25 is good too. I am so very proud of my girl!

Leo was shown in a large championclass with Excellent but was unfortunately not picked for placement this time. Still we had a good time in the ring together.
The boy I was also cheering for was Maggies father SKCH ROCH HUCH CIB Socrates Lakota Löwenschwanz "Soro".
And wow did he do well! He won the championclass, won Best of Breed and is the new WORLD WINNER 2025! Wow wow wow! What an amazing dad we have to our Queen-litter!
Huge congratulations to owners Dana Mullerova and MilanHnátko, breeder Lívia Lakotová and handler Dasha Emelyanenko!

This whole weekend was a great experience and the biggest show I have ever been to. I want to say a BG THANK YOU to Valeriia Iurtaeva  and Kati Ketonen for the nice photos from the show. The photos of more poor quality was taken by Malin or Nadine Skytthammar with my camera.
