Today Moa's first born litter turns 3 years old, the Beatles-litter (Moa x Wilson)! My babies are all grown up! And I guess now with Enya being hopefully pregnant and expecting a litter of puppies of her own, (the F-litter) I have to stop calling them my puppies! ;-)
I hope you all have a wonderful day and get truly spoiled! I will do my best to celebrate Enya's Birthday while she is staying here with me and my pack!

Late last night Enya was inseminated with Leo's semen and everything went really well. If all goes according to the plan, we will make an ultrasound in about 3-4 weeks to see if we have puppies growing in Enya's belly!
If we do they are expected to be born around 28-29th of July, and they are then ready to move to their new homes in the beginning of week 39 (last week in September).
Are you interested to know more about this litter please visit the Planned F-litter page for more information, pictures and videos of the parents.
You can also follow all the updates on Enya's pregnancy in the Pregnancy Diary. There you can for example see some photos from the AI yesterday!

Are you interested in a puppy from this lovely combination don't hesitate to contact me at karin@kadamo.se or 070-998 09 91. I am looking for active homes for both showdogs and familydogs!

What a day! What a weekend! After "Tillys" (SEUCH FINCH SEVCH Kadamo Thinking of Tilley) wonderful results in Finland yesterday where she became Swedish and Finnish Champion I thought that this weekend was already great! But it would get even better!

Today I went to Österbybruk International Show, judging today was Mr Freddie Klindrup, DK and breedentry about 50.
First I showed "Isidor" (Kadamo Devil in Disguise) in Puppyclass, today unfortunately limping after an injury the other day. I told the judge about this who wanted me to show him anyway, and I did and it went well! He was placed as Best Male puppy with HP!
After him it was time for "Mira" and she also won and became Best Bitch puppy with HP, and after that Best of Breed against Isidor who then was BOS!
Mira's critique (in Swedish):
"6 månader härlig valp med korrekt bett. Välplacerade mörka ögon. Passande stop, utmärkt hals och kropp. Passande benstomme. Välvinklad. Rör sig med väl, utmärkt ridge, utmärkt päls. Gott temperament."

First out in official classes was  "Dexter" SEJW-12 Kadamo Rob Roy first time in Intermediateclass, he did well gaining Excellent and was placed as 2nd in the class.
After him I got to show "Charlie" SEVCH Kadamo Don't Mess with Texas in Openclass. And this lovely boy won the class with CQ and ended up 2nd Best Male behind my sister Johanna and her "Wilson" MultiCh Roseridge Red Rastaban (sire of the Beatles-litter). This placement also gave him his third CAC making him New SWEDISH SHOW CHAMPION!!! Since Wilson is already CIB the CACIB also goes to Charlie!!!

After this we had some girls entered aswell. "Souki" Kadamo Heart Stopper recived VG in intermediateclass, "Indra" SEVCH Kadamo An Angel in Abbey was Exc-3 in Openclass and "Chanel" SEVCH Kadamo Lady in Red was Exc-4 in Workingclass.

After this I entered the Championclass with "Moa". And she showed well, and obviously well enough to win the class with CQ and great critique (in Swedish):
"Utmärkt typ helt igenom en Rhodesian Ridgeback med prima rörelser. Bra temperament."

After this we went into Best Bitch and Moa won! And not just that, she won her last needed CACIB for her International Beauty Championtitle, CIB! Just what I wanted!!!
After beeing so happy about this we went into competition for Best of Breed against Johanna and Wilson and this time it was Moa's turn, she won!
I am soooooo proud of my princess gaining these wonderful results, after giving birth to three litters she is still going strong!

We stayed for the finals and Mira was unfortunately not placed among the 25+ puppies in her BIS-final, but Moa did better! Group 4 and group 6 was merced into one and Moa finnished as BIG-2! The group was judged by Lars Widén, Sweden.

A huge thank you for all my lovely Kadamo people who I got to spend the day with, and an EXTRA big THANK YOU to Tomas, Jonny and Jenni for staying with me all trough the finals! It wouldn't have been the same without you there!
Thank you all for helping me take photos and just being around! You truly made this wonderful day even more wonderful!

This passed Friday I had "Ebba" Kadamo Bloody Mary and "Stella" Kadamo Leave it to Me at my work for their X-rays. And today we got their results! Both are clear on both hips and elbows, Ebba  HD: A/A, ED: 0 and Stella HD: A/B, ED: 0.
Congrats to the owners! This means that 9 out of 10 dogs in the Drinks-litter is now X-rayed and they are all clear on both hips and elbows! I haven't been all that nervous but it is still such a wonderful relief to have the results on paper!
This also means that their mother "Moa" has never produced any hip or elbowdysplasia! She has 25 puppies, of them 16 is X-rayed (8 of them is still too young, the Elvis-litter) and they are ALL clear! Sooooo proud to have bred all these lovely dogs and so happy that they are all healthy, just like their parents!

A couple of days ago I went to visit "Enya" SEVCH Kadamo Ain't She Sweet who will be the mother of our upcoming F-litter. I  haven't seen her for a little while so just wanted to go and give her some kisses!
And something must have happend during my visit... because today when I went to meet her and her owner Ove for a little walk she started her heat! And the first blood came/was found during their walk to meet me!
So now this great and very exciting journey finally begins! We will start with taking a bloodtest to check her progesteronelevel by the end of next week. Depending on what it says I will start to prepare for our long long drive to Stavanger in Norway to meet handsome daddy to be, "Leo" NUCH Kangelani's Gentle Leo Son of Clay.
If you want to know more about this upcoming litter, the parents, photos and videos go to F-litter page. You can also follow everything that happens trough the F-litter Pregnancy Diary!

Today when I was out with the dogs I found an ocean of white anemones in the woods! It is the best sign of spring, and it is almost mandatory to have a photosession with the dogs in the flower every year! So here we go!
Some photos of my darling pack!

Today it was time a puppyshow for some of the Elvis-litter puppies at Gubbängen in Stockholm arranged by the Poodleclub. Judge today was ridgebackjudge Mr Åke Cronander, Sweden.
We were expecting grey weather and perhaps rain, so packing extra clothes in the morning and headed for the show.
When we got there the weather was clearing up and less than 30 minutes later we had probably +20 C and sunshine!
This was the second show for Mira and Isidor but the first for their siblings Bellman and Luna.
First out in the ring was the boys, Isidor today shown by his "extra-mummy" Jennie and Bellman by me, since his owner Nadine wasn't able to get off work in time.
Both boys behaved so nicely and I was impressed, especially with Bellman since we haven't really practised that much together. But he acted like a pro!
Today the first place went to Bellman and Isidor was second, both with great critiques and Honours Prize.
Time for sisters Mira and Luna and they also impressed with acting like pro's! All the practice really paid off! They both stacked like statues!
Today Mira was the classwinner and Luna was second also both of them with Honours Prize.

Mira's critique in Swedish:
"Feminin mycket tilltalande helhet. Vackert välskuret huvud, bra hals och förbröst. Mycket välkroppad för åldern. Bra ridge, fin överlinje, goda vinklar. Rör sig väl för åldern."

Mira was also BIG-1 and we got to stay and wait for the BIS-finals! I was so happy to have all the Kadamogang present staying to cheer us on! Makes it so much more fun!
And I am glad we stayed because this little princess made it all the way to BIS-2!!!

Happy and extremely proud of all my puppies today!  Thank you all for coming and for your great company the whole day!

I have recieved some pictures of our island princess Ebba (Kadamo Bloody Mary) from the Drinks-litter, who lives on Åland. She is a gorgeous young girl, it is such a shame that she has a big overbite because I think she could have been a great showdog otherwise!
This weekend she had a couple of visitors, her sister Nikki (Kadamo Eye Opener) and their cousin Dayo (SEVCH Kadamo Living on the Edge) from the America-litter.
By the looks of the photos the three of them seems to have had a wonderful time! And even though it is only May it almost looks like summer!
On Friday I will get to meet Ebba again for myself when she comes to Sweden for a visit! I can't wait!
