Yesterday it was time for the National show in Borås, judged by Linda Cox-Parke, UK. Breedentry: 61.
From Kadamo there were two boys present, first SEVCH RLDN Kadamo Fire and Ice "Nixon" who recieved VG and finished 3rd in his class.
In Openclass we had SEJW-12 Kadamo Rob Roy "Dexter" who did so well, winning the large class with Excellent and CQ.  He kept his winning ways and finished as 2nd Best Male with his second CAC!
Way to go team Dexter! Now this handsome boy only needs one more to complete his Swedish and Estonian Championtitle!
Some photos of the two boys below taken by Jonny!

On Thursday afternoon me and my family drove to Målilla in Småland to spend the weekend at my grandmothers cottage. This is a very large farm that used to belong to my grandmother and her siblings, and as I child I spend a lot of time here growing up.
Now the farm is sold and we only have my grandmothers two cottages left to stay in but that is enough for us. Parts of the farm has since a few years back been transformed into a park where people can come and see moose (Målilla Älgpark).
So surrounding the cottage is enclosures with moose walking around! Not the sight I normally wake up to!
The dogs behaved very well around the animals and we enjoyed several walks around the park and up in the woods.
I just love being out in the woods, no sounds of cars, airplanes or anything out here in the country.
We visited my friend who owns the neighbourfarm where I spend a lot of time as a child taking care of the horses who lived there then. We also went for Midsummercelebrations were I used to go with my family when I was younger.
A great weekend despite the weather not really looking like summer... Some mixed photos from our weekend below!

What a weekend we have had! Starting with great showresults and rallyobedienceresults for Dexter and Bellman on Saturday (read more about that below in older entries) my mood was just great as I met with Natalie and Daniel, the owners of SEVCH Kadamo Devil in Disguise "Isidor". We all packed ourselves into my car and started our 7 hour long drive towards Vännäs in the north part of Sweden.
We were heading there to attend their National Show, this year the breed was judged by Carl-Gunnar Stafberg, Sweden.
Back in 2009 I showed my girl Moa for him and he gave her her last needed CAC for her Championtitle.
Since then I have not shown for him but was excited to be able to again, this time showing Moa's kids and grandkids!
So off we went and arrived in Vännäs in the evening and had dinner in town together with Ewa and Amanda, the owners of BISS-13 Kadamo Johnny Walker "Loke" and Kadamo Fire It Up "Arrax".
After a nice evening we headed for our hostel to get settled for the night and let the dogs play before bedtime. Mira of course decided it was time to start her heat during our trip and was flirting with her brother, who despite this handled it so well this weekend!

Sunday morning we headed to the show were our breed was last in the ring. I started by showing Isidor in workingclass. He recieved Excellent, placed 1st with CQ.
In Openclass Loke and Arrax both did very well gaining Excellent and placed 2nd and 3rd, both with CQ.
So happy to see all three of my boys present in the Best Male competition. And my happiness did not stop there. The judge picked out all three of them for his top 4 placements!
He settled with Isidor as his Best Male with CAC, Loke as 3rd and Arrax as 4th! So happy!

Time for the girls and in workingclass we had SEVCH Kadamo Lady in Red "Chanel". She did well gaining Excellent but no CQ today.
Since Mira became Swedish Champion last weekend she got to make her debut this day in Championclass. And she did it in grand style by winning the class and going all the way to Best Bitch!
So brother and sister was up against each other for Best of Breed. The judge had a very hard time to decide but finally went with Isidor as his favourite of the day. Not a bad way to win your first CAC!

We entered with a Breedersgroup and used Loke, Isidor, Arrax and Mira, who the judge all liked a lot. And he liked our breedersgroup to giving us Honours prize to compete in the Big ring.

By the time we were finished in the ring it was almost time for the finals to begin so of course we stayed for them. We did not get placed with our Breedersgroup but happy to be there anyway!
Isidor competed in the Group 4/6 finals judged by Carl-Gunnar Stafberg. I think I counted to 16 dogs in the ring. I was so excited when we were picked out for Top 4 placements! Wow!
We got to run and then stand there and wait those long seconds for the announcements of the placement, and I found myself and the Beagle being the last two competing for the #1 spot. And then they called out, winner today is the Rhodesian Ridgeback! WOW! Soooo happy about this amazing results!
My biggest congratulations to Isidor and his owners Natalie and Daniel! You can be so proud of your boy!
In the BIS-finals judged by a man that I don't remember the name of... Isidor was tired and did not really show off. We got unplaced, or well shared 5th placed but we are still more than happy about that!

Our long drive home was a piece of cake after this successful day! It sure was worth the trip!

Below are photos from our trip aswell as a short video of the top 4 placements in the groupfinal. Enjoy!

This has been one hell of an amazing weekend! Trying to not get carried away I will take one update at a time!
So first off is the results from the National dogshow in Avesta on Saturday. The breed was judged by Leni Finne, Finland and breedentry was 20.
SEJW-12 Kadamo Rob Roy "Dexter" was shown in Openclass which he won with Excellent and CQ. He was the only male at the show recieving CQ so he had an easy win in Best Male!
His result of the day was Best male with his first Swedish CAC (finally after several R-CAC...) and later on Best Opposite Sex.
A huge happy cheer with congratulations from us to Dexter and his owners! Way to go!

SEVCH RLDN RLDF Kadamo Penny Lane "Meya" is from my Beatles-litter (Moa x Wilson) and she and her owner Emma "works" as a bloodtrackingteam, making sure animals that are injuired but not killed during hunting, or injuired when being hit by cars gets found and put out of missory.
This is such an important job and Meya loves it and does it more than well! She has helped out finding plenty of roedeer and wildboar.
But expect for this wonderful work they are doing they also compete now and then in Field/Bloodtracking.
At this years Kadamo Mästerskapen they finished at 2nd place, and as #1 out of the dogs from Kadamo.
She also competed in the Championship of Huntindogs in their area, recently, and won!! This is the 3rd year in a row that she wins this competition!!!
Huge congratulations to our superteam Emma and Meya! Keep making us proud!

I think this was the first time for all of them trying this?
They all did very well, and Souki won the whole thing out of 26 dogs! Loke finished nicely on 8th place and Noomi on 20th. Well done and congratulations!
Thank you to Pernilla Johansson for the nice pictures!

What a day we had yesterday! We celebrated our Swedish National Day at the National Dogshow in Norrköping. Breedentry 50+, Judge: Jean Pierre Achtergael

First off I got to show Kadamo Playing with Fire "Zeppelin" who won the intermediateclass with Exc and CQ.
Then it was time for Mira's brother Kadamo A Big Hunk o' Love "Attila" to make his showdebut with me handling him. He did so well despite not having trained much and he  won the Workingclass with Exc and CQ.
In Openclass we had young boy Kadamo Fire it Up "Arrax" with his owner/handler Amanda who placed very nicely 3rd with Excellent.
In Best Male me and Zeppelin made it to 2nd Best Male with R-CAC, just like last weekend! Attila was shown by Elin but was unfortunately not placed today.

In bitchclass we started with Kadamo Lights My Fire "Soya" and her owner/handler Jenni who did very well placing 3rd in the class with Exc.
In a pretty big Workingclass Mira and me won with Exc and CQ, Kadamo An Angel in Abbey "Indra" and her owner/handler Jenni was 3rd with Exc and Kadamo Heart Stopper "Souki" and her owner/handler Elin got Vg today.

In Best Bitch there was a lot of nice looking bitches up against us. I had no expectations for placement so I was so excited when the judge picked me and Mira among his Top 4 for placement!
I quickly realised we were three dogs competing for the CAC and only one Championbitch left, and oh I so wanted that CAC!
Don't remember everything but I know my heart started pounding and I was almost shaking as the judged placed the other bitches to run as 4th, 3rd and 2nd, and we stood as 1st for the last laps of running around the ring.
And we did it! My sweet little girl Mira made it all the way to Best Bitch with CAC making her New Swedish Show Champion!!!
Right away after that we were up against the Best male and there we finished at a nice BOS placement!
Because of the great results and since I had all my breedings still at the showground we decided to participate with a Breedersgroup which won with Honours Prize. The dogs participating was Arrax, Attila, Mira and Zeppelin, so dogs from two different combinations.

A HUGE thank you to my wonderful dogowners for a great day and to todays judge for his great taste!

After the show we drove to Christoffers sister and her boyfriend and was fed with a wonderful lunch and of course a celebration cake! Thank you for finish off this great day in such a nice way!

A couple of weeks ago I had 7 out of 10 from my Fire-litter (Enya x Leo) participating in the BPH (Behaviour and Personality) test, aged 22 months old.
Six of them did the whole test and all gunshotproof. I am saticfied with the result and the trust and good relationship they have with their owners. Well done to all of you!
Photos and complete results can be found on the Fire-litters BPH-page.
