Yesterday it wasn't just me and Mira who made our debute in Rallyobedience. SEVCH Kadamo Penny Lane "Meya" from the Beatles-litter (Moa x Wilson) also did but at Roslagens BK. This wonderful team did great recieveing 94 points and finished at an amazing 4th place out of 33 dogs! Huge congratulations to Emma and Meya!
At the same competition Meya's brother SEVCH Kadamo All You Need is Love "Lotus" competed for the second time and he also did great recieving 79 points! This means they both achieved qualifying results! Just two more of those and they have their first Rallytitle!
I am so happy and proud to have some of Moa's kids and their owners being active working. I know I have more of you out there, and I hope you will dare to enter competitions soon aswell!

Early this morning I packed all my things and the dogs and said goodbye to our cabin in Kläppen were I have been since Tuesday evening. Me and the dogs have enjoyed some great days hiking in the mountains, I promise I will share the photos with you as soon as I have gone trough them.
But back to today!
I drove to Dala-Floda where I had entered Mira in her first two Rallyobedience competitions. Dogs has to be 10 months to compete and Mira is today 10 months and 1 week old! She is without a doubt the youngest dog I have ever competed with and most likely she was one if not the youngest dog at todays competition, so my expectations wasn't too high.
She is very good and obedient but not used to practise in an environment with so many dogs and people, so I saw today as a good practice for the future.
But Mira exceeded all my expectations! Her first entry went well, she put her nose down smelling the signs or ground a few times but other than that no big faults. This gave her a total score of 93 points out of 100! Everything above 70 points is needed to pass, so she was well over! Happy!
Her next start was for another judge and a little bit more difficult, but she did well again. Less smelling, though a bit tired so a little bit slower but still good. Unbelievably she scored 98 points (!!!) out of 100 which also took her all the way to a 3rd place out of 56 entered dogs!
My little young princess making it to the top among all those obedient and talented dogs!
I would lie if I said that I am not over the moon happy about this!
Mira is already at this very young age proving to be a wonderful and versatile workingdog, just what my goal is in breeding! So I must have succeeded!
Mira now only needs one more competition with a result above 70 points to get the RLDN title (Rallyobedience Noviceclass Diploma). I truly hope she can get that before winter comes so we can start practising for Graduateclass in the spring!
I have no dogshows planned for her this fall, we are keeping busy with bloodtracking and obedience for now instead!

Below you can see videos from today. The first one is from her very first run where she scored 93 points and the one below that is the second run where she got 98 points.

On Tuesday morning I made a stop in Odensala on my way to Kläppen. I am spending the week out hiking with the dogs, but before that it was time for Mira to start in openclass bloodtracking for the first time.
This time we met judge Tommy Wallén. Mira has just improved so much  lately and I wanted to see if she could mangage an openclass track, ans she did! She tracked in only 16 minutes which is her fastest track so far. She didn't react to the gunshoot what so ever, which she has never heard close like this before.
So proud of my young girl, who recieved a 1st prize at her first attempt, and she is still just 10 months old!

A couple of days ago I brought my camera along for one of our daily walks in the woods. The dogs got to pose for some photos in the lovely surroundings, that is now starting to change colour. I love taking photos of ridgebacks this time of year, the look so good in the leafs.
Dando is now 10 years and 3 months old, Moa is 7 years and 2 months, Yaya 5 years 4 months and little Mira 10 months old.
I also took some photos of Wilson (MultiCh Roseridge Red Rastaban) who is the sire of my B-litter and the grandsire of the F-litter.

I have updated the Puppy Diary with last photos of the whole Fire-gang before they started to move to their new homes. All puppies but one has moved out this weekend, and the last one I only get to keep until Tuesday. Feels very empty at home now!

Today we woke up to grey and rainy weather... But it didn't matter, we had a busy day ahead of us which the rain could not stop.
I packed all the puppies and Mira into the car and headed towards Odensala and Märsta. Our first stop was meeting Jennie with Kayla (Kadamo Fire in the Sky) and bloodtracking judge Ingvar Jansson.
Mira and I was starting in the aptitudetest, and she passed it! She did a good job, got a little bit disturbed and lost focused a couple of times, but other than that loosing us some time she worked very well.
Kayla and Jennie started in Openclass for the very first time and Kayla the natural talent did wonderful and recieved a 1st prize! Only needs two more for her Championtitle!

After this I drove to the vetclinic were I work extra and it was time for all the puppies to have their healthcheck, vaccination and ID-chip. All puppies behaved so well and had a blast running around. Unfortunately I had forgotten to charge my camera battery so no pictures...
All 10 puppies were healthy, NO kinked tails, NO bitefaults, NO DS, ALL boys has both testicles. No other faults! SOOOO happy and proud of this litter!

This weekend they all move to their new homes, except Mr Yellow who stays a couple of days extra. It will be so empty here when they are all gone... Mira will be so sad, she has absolutely LOVED playing with them.
I have mixed feelings about them leaving, as always. They are more demanding now and needs a lot more attention than I can give them in this small space, but at the same time they are so sweet and cuddly when they are tired, and then I just feel like keeping them all!

My lovely bunch of puppies are now 7 weeks old. I have decided all their names and you can see them and the new photos in the Puppy Diary.
Today almost all the puppy families were here at the same time to get to know eachother aswell as getting a first "lesson" from me, before the puppyclass begins for real.
Thank you all for coming! I will try to get used to the idea that my precious babies are moving next weekend... at this point I still want to keep all of the puppies for myself!
Visit the Puppy Diary for the latest photos!

The puppies are 6 weeks old today and we had another photoshoot. Since pretty much all of them loose their lovely face expressions when we put them on the table I decided to only take stacked photos today. You can see a lot of mixed photos of them aswell as their heads in older entries.
All photos can be found in the Fire-litters Puppy Diary. Enjoy!

This past weekend a bunch of Kadamo dogs were out showing off in the rings. On Saturday it was the Ridgeback Speciality Show at Almare Stäket and on Sunday a National show at Solvalla.
On Saturday  at Stäket Mr Arne Foss, Norway was juding the breed. "Bellman" Kadamo You're the Boss made his official debut in juniorclass only just 9 months old, placing VG-4, a young boy that needs a lot more time to develop.
In Intermediateclass "Dexter" SEJW-12  Kadamo Rob Roy recieved VG and if I remember correctly just outside placement?
In Championclass we had "Charlie" SEUCH SEVCH Kadamo Don't mess with Texas who recieved Exc but no placement.
Best placement today went to "Indra" SEVCH Kadamo An Angel in Abbey who won the Workingclass with Exc, unfortunately no CQ. Her sister "Tilly" SEUCH FINCH SEVCH Kadamo Thinking of Tilley recieved Exc and CQ but outside placement.

On Sunday some of them was shown again, first out "Dexter" placing Exc-2 with CQ! "Indra" did good again placing Exc-3 and sister "Tilly" was Exc-2 in Championclass and finished 2nd Best Bitch!
Congrats to all of you! So proud of everyone!
