On Sunday me and Tosca (Kadamo A Million Dreams) from the Pink-litter (Tiya x Ari) started in our first openclass bloodtrack. We had two judges (on learning to be a judge) and Tosca impressed them both. In the beginning of the track we met a deer but Tosca handled that really well and got back to work very fast. She got her first 1st prize and now needs two more to complete her bloodtracking champion title! 

Kadamo Wonderwall "Dexter" from the Oasis-litter (Tiya x Maddox) was shown at the national dog show in Piteå, judge Ligita Zake. He won the openclass with EXC and CQ and was placed Best male with CAC and later Best Opposite sex. Big congratulations to owner and handler Johanna! 

Handsome boy Kadamo Fuckin' Perfect "Riley" from the Pink-litter (Tiya x Ari) passed the aptitudetest in bloodtracking today with owner Malin! Well done and congratulations!

A little while ago talented Leia (SEVCH NW1 Kadamo Ariya) from the Nissan-litter (Heera x Dexter) finished her first title in nose work, NW1. Congratulations to owner Victoria!

These amazing siblings strikes again! At the International show in Västerås, judged by allroundjudge Moa Persson, SWE it was Penny's turn to take the top of the throne! She was Best bitch with CACIB (she is already champion since last weekend but showed in openclass) and managed to win over brother Leo who has Best male also with CACIB. So nice to have these to stunning and lovely young dogs together in the top!

In the afternoon Leo's mum Malin helped out and showed Penny in the groupfinals and they did amazing and won BIG-1! Such a great achievement! 
The next day I went back to show Penny in Best in Show. Judge was Perttu Ståhlberg, FIN and we did not get a placement. But still happy and proud to be there!

The other day Kadamo Cover Me in Sunshine "Juni" from the Pink-litter (Tiya x Ari) passed the aptitudetest in bloodtracking with lovely words from the judge. Congratulations Ellen and Juni and good look in openclass!

On Monday on our way home from the westcoast I made a stop at Väne-Ryr for both Tosca and Penny to start aptitudetest in bloodtracking. I had not planned for it before I left, so got to get things sorted during the weekend. Thanks to Ann-Sophie I got two deerhoofs so I could practise with Penny who has not done this so much yet. She got a track on Saturday after the show and on Sunday after the show and she got better the second day so I thought we might aswell give it a try since I was going anyway with Tosca. 
Both girls did very well and even though they had different judges they both had nice things to say about them and both got approved. So time to start practising for openclass now!

Wow! I can not start this post with any other word! Sweet little "Penny" who is actually now named SEW-24 SEW-23 SEW-22 SEJW-22 NOW-23 NOJW-23 NORDJW-23 SEUCH NOUCH Kadamo Force of Nature, was for the third year in a row picked out as the best ridgeback bitch at the Swedish Winner Show! And she is only 2 years and 4 months old!

This weekend started on Friday when me and Tosca picked up Penny and drove towards Varberg. Of course with my luck with cars we had a break down about half way there.... Luckily we got towed and got some help so after about 1,5 hours we could continue our drive. 
We arrived late but got some sleep before Saturdays Swedish Winner Show. 
At the show we met up with Pennys brother SEW-23 EUJW-23 NORDJW-23 NORDW-23 SEJW-22 SEW-22 CIB-J SEVCH SEUCH FINCH NOUCH DKUCH Kadamo Can Y' See It Now  "Leo" and hos owner Malin. 
The breed was judged by Marie Gadolin, SWE. Leo was first in the ring in Championclass where he finished 2nd with EXC and CQ. He placed 3rd Best male with R-CACIB. 
Then it was my girl Kadamo A Million Dreams "Toscas" turn in juniorclass where she got VG and placed 4th. 
After her big sister Penny in a big openclass which she won with EXC and CQ. She went all the way to Best Bitch with CAC and CACIB making her Swedish Winner 2024 aswell as Swedish Champion and Norwegian Champion! She finished Best Opposite sex. 
What a wonderful day!

On Sunday the breed was judged by Elina Haapaniemi, FIN. Leo again first out in Championclass finishing 3rd in the class and 4th Best Male. 
Tosca got another VG and Penny was 4th in Openclass with EXC. So not as exciting results but still a lovely day around the ring. 
Thank you Malin Ström for letting me bring Penny to these shows and adventures. I can't wait for next year when she will be the mother to Kadamo's next litter!

Today Kadamo Get the Party Started "Thor" from the Pink-litter (Tiya x Ari) got approved in aptitudetest in bloodtracking! Well done and congratulations Malin!

Some new photos of our stunning boy SEUCH FINCH NUCH SEVCH Ave Caesar Diamond Jewel of Rubi "Maddox" who is now 4 years and 4 months old. Maddox is sire to my Oasis-litter aswell as to one litter in the Netherlands, two litters in Australia and one more here in Sweden. 
He is available for mating and also AI with frozen semen. Contact me for more information if you are interested in using Maddox in your breeding. 

On Su day Leo (SEUCH FINCH NOUCH DKUCH SEW-23 EUJW-23 NORDJW-23 NORDW-23 SEJW-22 SEW-22 CIB-J SEVCH Kadamo Can Y' See It Now) and his owner Malin made their debute in Championclass. Leo won the class, was placed as Best male with Nordic CAC and later Best of Breed! They stayed for the groupfinals where he placed nicely 4th! Congratulations and very well done!

This past weekend I had a big event together with dogs I have bred during the past 15 years. The oldest dog present was Meya from my B-litter now 14 years old! 
During these 15 years I have had 16 litters which means 163 registered puppies. Of course many of them are not with us anymore due to age or illness, but many of them are and I am so happy that I get to see them at activities like this!
So I want to start off by saying thank you to everyone who attended during one or both days this weekend. I am so glad to be able to see my "pups" and you, all their lovely owners. I really hope you enjoyed the weekend as much as I did!
If I have counted correctly we had 38 dogs attending during Satuday and Sunday, and even more people. 

On Saturday we were at VHS, Västerås Hundkappbana were we got to try dogracing on their beautiful track. Thank you for having us again and for your great assistance and for the food you served.
We also got to learn and try specialsearch for red kong in guidance of Marita Teräs, thank you so much! 
My collegue Emmelie Cronlund from work at Arken Zoo Veterinärklinik talked to us about First Aid for dogs and everyone got to learn the basics to evaluate their dogs in both everyday and emergency situations. Thank you Emmelie!

In the race we had three top winners and fun enough all from the same litter. On 1st place we had Nelson with 7,69 sec. On 2nd place we had Bosse with 7,91 sek and very close behind on 3rd place we had their sister Nada with 7,92 sec.
Congratulations to you all winners!

On Sunday we headed to Bergahundar hinderbana outside of Uppsala. There we got to learn about and try out canicross, bikejoaring, weightpull and canineobsticle coarse. 
It was all so much fun and the dogs seemed to enjoy themselves too. Such great way to build up both confidence in your dog but also the team and relationship you have with your dog. 
When we were done their we got a little lecture in preventive healthcare for dogs, stretching, massage and physical training with our favourite Emma Pettersson. Thank you again for sharing your time and knowledge with us Emma!

After lunch we headed down to Fyrisån in Uppsala where we got to try Stand Up Paddle board together with our dogs. It was so much fun and the dogs seemed to enjoy it too. I think only one dog jumped off the board, the rest sat or laid on it while cruising down the stream.

SEVCH Kadamo Sentra "Luna" from the Nissan-litter (Heera x Dexter) and her owner Jakke won their second diploma in NW1 this weekend. She won the outside search in 15 seconds and finished 6th place in total. Very well done team Luna! Congratulations and best of luck working for that third and final diploma for the NW1 title!

On Sunday it was time for the second show of the weekend. This time we drove to Gimo and attended the international dogshow judged by Maritha Östlund Holmsten, SWE.
First out was Kadamo The Great Escape "Sengo" did his showdebute in juniorclass. He recieved EXC and was placed 4th in the class and behaved so well together with owner/handler Anna. 
After him we had SEW-23 EUJW-23 NORDJW-23 NORDW-23 SEJW-22 SEW-22 CIB-J SEUCH FINCH DKUCH NUCH SEVCH Kadamo Can Y' See It Now  "Leo" in openclass (he is a champion now but was entered before he got the last CAC). Today Leo was shown by hiw owner Malin who did very well and they won the openclass and placed 4th Best male. 
Time for the girls and three sisters in the juniorclass. First off was me with Kadamo A Million Dreams "Tosca" who got EXC and placed 4th in the class. After us we had Kadamo Cover Me in Sunshine "Juni" who did very well shown by her owner Ellen, but was a bit uncomfortable showing her teeth so only a Good today. Last one out was Kadamo The Truth About Love "Stella" showed by her owner Linda and they also did very nicely and got a VG and no placement today.
In openclass I showed Kadamo Keep the Dream Alive "Nada" and she did very well in the ring and recieved EXC and placed 2nd with CQ, no placement in Best Bitch.
Last one out was their mum SEVCH FINCH Kadamo Comin' Home "Tiya" who recieved EXC and placed 4th with CQ but no placement in Best Bitch. 
Today we also entered a Breedersgroup and a Progencygroup which both recieved Excellent comments from the judge placing 1st with HP.

They did it! They got their last needed "stick" to complete the title for Diploma Jump class 1, Linda and Nacho (SEVCH RLDN AGD1 AGHD1 Kadamo Live Life Like Timon).  Nacho is from my Lion King-litter (Mira x Colin). 
Not only did they got one stick they got two, and also placed 1st in one start and 2nd twice! 
Nacho is the second Swedish Ridgeback to win this title! Well done Linda and Nacho!

Yesterday I went to SRRS Östra Rideback Speciality Show judged by Steffen Schock, Germany and breed entry 61. 
First out in the special "petclass" for ridgebacks with faults (like ridgefaults for example) was Kadamo Teana "Nangi" who has a third crown. This was her and her mum Pernillas very first time at a show and they did so well. She was Best of Breed Pet with a very nice critique from the judge.
After that the male classes began and we only had one boy at the show, in Veteranclass SEVCH SEVW-23 Kadamo Always Aiming High who placed nicely 3rd with Exc and CQ.
In bitchclasses I had two of my girls with me. First out was Kadamo A Million Dreams "Tosca" in juniorclass where she placed 2nd with Exc and CQ. 
Her mum FINCH SEVCH Kadamo Comin' Home "Tiya" placed 3rd with Exc and CQ in Championclass but no placement for them in best bith. Still very happy with their nice critiques and the lovely day we had around the ring with our friends.

On Saturday I went to the national show in Västerås. As my previous post already told you our handsome boy Leo was Best Male and Best of Breed with CAC making him New Swedish Champion aswell as Danish Champion, Norwegian Champion and Finnish Champion. 
But we had two lovely girls present too, Leos sister Nada (Kadamo Keep the Dream Alive) from the Oasis-litter and Leia (Kadamo Ariya) from the Nissan-litter.
Both girls was shown in openclass and recieved excellent, nicely handled by their owners. Nada made it all the way to 3rd Best Openclass bitch with CQ. 
In best bitch I showed her and she remained in the top placement being 3rd Best Bitch! 

Yesterday it was time for the National Show in Västerås, judged by Mrs Sofie Krigholm, SWE. Breed entry 30+.
For the first time Leo was shown in openclass since he turned 2 years old in February, and this was his first show since then, and also his first chance for the final CAC he needed to complete his championtitles.
He started off by winning the openclass and then Best of male with the CAC we so wanted. This made him Swedish Champion at his very first shot! But that was not all, at the same time he became Danish Champion, Norwegian Champion and Finnish Champion since he already has CAC in these countries,
Our handsome boy did not stop there, he went all the way to Best of Breed! Unfortuntely he had an upset stomache so we decided to not stay for the finals risking that he would get sick. So he got to go home and rest instead this time.

Yesterday it was finally time for the Pink-litters 1 year Birthday party! We had a very nice day in the woods with a walk, some playtime, tracking and of course new photos!
I was so happy that 12 out of 15 puppies was able to make it! Thank you all for coming and hope to see you again soon!

Today our youngest girl Kadamo A Million Dreams "Tosca" turn 1 year old together with all her siblings from the Pink-litter (Tiya x Ari). Congratulations to all of you, look forward to meet many of you at our Pink-litter birthday party in a couple of weeks. Until then I hope you get lots of presents and treats!

I have recieved new photos of many of the Pink-litter puppies (Tiya x Ari). In one month they turn 1 year old already, time has gone by so fast! Some photos below of Alfred, Juni, Loui, Missy, Nala, Riley, Sengo, Stella, Sören, Thor and Uma. 

Daughter and Mother <3 Kadamo A Million Dreams "Tosca" and SEVCH FINCH Kadamo Comin' home "Tiya", really made in the same model! They are so similar in type, always find this amazing when some puppies turns out so much like their parents. Sometimes it is in bodystructure, sometimes a head or expression, sometimes bodylanguage or behaviours. 

LD Startklass Kadamo I Am Bagheera "Heera" from the Jungle book-litter (Segra x Khan) has won her workingdogclubs reward for Best Obediencedog 2023! She was also placed 2nd Best among all Swedish Ridegebacks. 
Great work Mina and Heera and I hope you get more great results this year too!

Linda and SEVCH RLDN AgD1 Kadamo Live Life Like Timon "Nacho" (from the Lion King-litter) has made history! They are the first rhodesian ridgeback to recieve the title AgD1 (Agility Dipoma 1) in Sweden. (Others has competed in higher classes but non taken this title since it came a while back.) 
So proud of this team for the wonderful work they have done, and they are still getting better and better so who knows what the future holds for these two!
Big congratulations to Linda for bringin out the best in Nacho!
