H-litter Pregnancy Diary
2015
This evening we only hae three puppies left at home. During the day yesterday and today the first fivev puppies has been picked up by their new families. Some of them has travelled far and some are still close by. So far I have been getting reports that they are all doing well, the drive home has gone well, and they have happily explored their new homes.
Left with us is three girls that will move later on.
Below are photos of the puppies their last day all together at home! And of course pictures of them with their new families!
Last day together! Tomorrow the H-litter is 8 weeks old and the first 3 puppies will move to their new homes. On Tuesday we went to the vet and they were all ID-chipped, vaccinated and healthchecked. They did so well both at the vetclinic and in the car.
I had planned to take the puppies to the woods these last couple of days to explore, but unfortunately the weather has now turned bad from the past weeks of sunshine. So we did not go, felt it was to cold for such a big project on my own.
But they are still enjoying our garden exploring every inch of it aswell as our house downstairs. They are absolutely wild for about 30 minutes, normal dogs for 30 minutes and then sleep until it is time so start all over again!
It is very bitter sweet saying goodbye to them. I know I have some lovely families waiting for them, and it is time for the puppies to start to explore the world outside our property and get full attention from their owners, instead of having to compete for attention here with all the siblings.
Below are mixed photos of the puppies from today, 55 days old aswell as their last stacked photos below that. Enjoy it!
Yesterday the puppies turned 7 weeks old and it is now only one week left until they start to move to their new homes! Were did time go?!
I am still looking for the right home for Ms Purple. She has a correct ridge so she can go to shows, and of course train and/or compete in other things. She is the smallest puppy in this litter so I don't think she will get very very big.
She is very sweet but at the same time very independent and brave. Do you have the right home for her? Contact me at karin@kadamo.se for more information!
Yesterday I thought it was time for me to bring my camera outside with me again. I haven't taken as many photos lately since the puppies accidently broken the UV-glas on the cameralens about a week ago. I couldn't get the lens off so had to crack the glass...
Anyway, now I can use it again and the sun was out for a while yesterday and so were we!
The puppies goes outside approximately 6 times a day. Sometimes just to pee and poo and sometimes to stay out and play. The eat outside almost everytime aswell.
I am trying to keep indoors as a sleepingarea and only playing inside when it is to cold outside.
Yesterday they were very cooperative lining up for me on dogbeds, so I managed to get a couple of decent groupshots! Not always easy and definetely not on your own! So thank you puppies!
Below are mixed photos of the puppies 6,5 weeks old. Tomorrow or on Saturday I will attempt their 7 week individual photoshoot aswell! So you have something to look forward to!
Here are finally the puppies 6 weeks individual photos! We took photos on Friday but the quality of them was not at all good, to dark and blurry. So after a busy weekend I managed with the help of my very kind husband to take these photos yesterday, the puppies 6 weeks and 2 days old.
The puppies have now also gotten their kennelnames, so below are their new photos aswell as their names!
The puppies are now 5,5 weeks old and enjoying life! Below are a bunch of photos from the past couple of days! Enjoy!
This week has been great! We have had wonderful weather which means that the puppies has been allowed outside in the garden to explore a bigger surrounding.
First time was of course a little bit scary, for about 5 minutes! After that it was all play! Koya, the puppies older halfsister is soooo excited to have the puppies outside. That means she is finally allowed to play with them and Mira is ok with it.
Below are photos of the puppies 32-33 days old. Tomorrow they are 5 weeks old and it is then time for a new weigh in and new individual photoshoot! So come back soon!
We have had a busy weekend! The puppies who are now 4 weeks old are now ready to get more visitors. So this weekend some families has been here to see them.
Aswell as having visits here I have been busy with entertaining my daughter Ellen, going to her cousins birhtdayparty and so on.
Yesterday afternoon me and husband did the big project and rearranged our livingroom. The puppies playarea was moved closer to the windows and our door that goes to our garden. Soon they will get a bigger area aswell as being allowed to go outside when the weather is good enough for it.
Changing the place for the puppies and getting them closer to the windows meant more light and a lot better possibilites for good photos. So during the afternoon I was in there with my camera getting these photos for you to enjoy! Puppies here 30 days old!
After a few very busy days it was time for new individual photos of the puppies. Unfortunately today was also busy so I did not have time to get better headshots of the puppies today. They are more comfortable on the table when they get to eat something ;)
These photos will have to do until next week, I will do my best to give you great photos then!
Today the puppies turned 4 weeks old! I will take new individual photos of them tomorrow, so more updates after that. But until then I give you a video from earlier tonight of their bigsister Koya spending some time with the puppies after dinner.
More updates soon!
I have had some busy days so haven't taken as many photos as I usually do. But at least here comes a bunch! I have had my two nieces here with a couple of their friends from our street to visit the puppies and also my friend and "old" puppybyer with her son, Ellens friend Nico.
With a street filled with kids and my sisters and their children living very close to me, it is hard to stop them from visiting. But now the puppies are closing in on four weeks and we will start to have more visitor come by from now on.
These puppies will be very used to kids by the time they are ready to move to their new homes! They will also be very used to sounds, because Ellen doesn't always play peaceful with her toys, and the vacuumcleaner does it's job everyday, and the TV is on pretty much the whole day... Yeah, you get the idea!
In another week or so it will be time to expand the puppies playarea. That automatically means less room for us in our livingroom, but the puppies will be happy!
Below are photos of the puppies 23-24 days old. Enjoy!
The puppies are 3 weeks old and that means new individual photos. I took them yesterday and for the first time they were able to acctually sit on a table for their headshots.
I also took the first stacked photos of them. At this young age I don't do it to evaulate them, I do it more for practise. To get them used to eat on the table standing up instead of laying down nursing from Mira.
Most of them did a good job, so I look forward to next weeks photos already!
Today they were also weighed and dewormed for the first time.
The puppies are 20 days old today and are getting more and more "wild" each day. They do still sleep a lot but when they are awake they are playing, barking, growling and are just hilarious to watch.
Tomorrow they are 3 weeks old and it is time to weigh them all again aswell as deworm them for the first time. Of course I will also make a new photoshoot which each one individually!
Below are photos of the puppies 19-20 days old aswell as a video of them playing earlier today. Enjoy!
Today it was time for the puppies to have their first taste of solid food. It consist now of minced lean meat and eggyokes. They all loved it! I am used to it always being at least a couple of puppies in each litter that is a bit suspicious at first, but not this time! They all just wanted more!
Mira is still nursing them several times a day and also a couple of times every night. But now they are 18 days old and it is time for them to get a little bit extra.
As the days and weeks passes I will start to mix the minced meat with wet puppyfood and also raw food adjusted for puppies.
My bitches usually stop nursing the puppies completely when they are around 6-7 weeks. I let them do it as long as they want, but at the same time I don't forced them to continue after 6 weeks if I feel like they don't want to anymore.
The puppies are starting to get their front teeth which means it will soon start to hurt Mira a bit if they are not careful when they nurse.
They are all doing so good. I have four bigger once and four smaller once. But from experience I know that this does not always stay the same as they grow older.
Tonight, I will go back to sleeping in my own bed and not downstairs on the couch necxt to the puppies. I can't believe that I have been on the couch for almost 3 weeks! Thank good it is comfortable. I hope Mira will stay relaxed without my company, I know now that she is doing a great job and doesn't need my assistance at night.
I have started to try to get them to go onto the newspapers now to do their buisness. Sometimes they do great... sometimes they just stay in their bed... So at the moment I am doing a lot of laundry!
Below are photos of the puppies 16-18 days old! Enjoy!
Photobomb! My puppies are the most adorable thing on the planet! So of course I have to share a bunch of photos of them with you all! On these photos they are 14-15 days old! Just enjoy it!
The puppies are 2 weeks old today and I have taken new headshots of them aswell as weighed them. I have to say that the pictures does not give them justice. They are so much more adorable in real life, but not all that happy about photoshoots... to tired!
A sleepy and wrinkly puppy is not the best on a photo, but they are more still and easier to hold then.

I have published a few short videos taken this afternoon, to give you and idea of how they are moving around now! Or at least how they are trying to move!
Finally my little sausages have become more "doglooking"! They have all opened their eyes which makes them absolute adorable! They are up on all four legs trying to walk and have started to "play" with eachother. Mira is an amazing mother, she takes excellent care of the puppies all the time, every hour of the day.
I am happy that she now also feels so relaxed in her role that she now and then leaves them to come and sleep next to the other big dogs, on the couch or outside in the sun. She also spends more time at night next to me on the couch sleeping than she did before. She goes in to the puppybox a couple of times a night to feed and clean the puppies and then back to rest and sleep next to me.
She really enjoys our short daily walks and to play again. I have to say that even before she delivered her puppies, she still wanted to come along on our walks despite the big belly she was carrying around. But now it is definetely easier for her, exept now she has huge boobs shaking around when she runs!
Below are photos of the puppies 9-12 days old aswell as a video of them 11 days old. Enjoy!
The puppies are 10 days old today and all of them has started to open their eyes. They girls are a little step ahead of the boys. They are just looking adorable. They were gorgeous before today aswell but now, well they are just fantastic!
As soon as their eyes open they get more personality and start interacting with eachother. I haven't had time to go trough todays photos yet so below are photos from yesterday, puppies 9 days old. Enjoy!
The precious bunch have now past the first milestone, 1 week of age. They are all doing so well and are strong! They look like chubby little sausages!
They are now moving around more, I would say I have seen the biggest change in them today. They lift themselves up on all four legs when they move around today, before they just pulled themselves using mostly their front legs.
Within the next few days I expect the first puppies to start opening their eyes, can't wait for that, it gives them so much more personality. And in another week or so I will be able to start interact more with them and that is what having puppies is all about!
Below are a video of them 6 days old and below that photos of them 6-7 days old.
The puppies turn 1 week old today! They have grown so much in this short time! They have almost doubled their weight already! These will be chubby little puppies with the strong milk that Mira's milkbar is offering!
Below are new headshots of them all taken today aswell as their weights. Enjoy!

The puppies are 5 days old today and they are all doing great. They are gaining weight, around 100 grams per day so far!
So they are starting to get chubby, Mira must have strong milk for them! At the moment I am just looking forward to them getting bigger so I can start to cuddle with them. At the moment they are to small to be handled so I have to settle with just watching them being adorable!
Mira is being an amazing mother. I do feel she is relaxing in her role more and more.
For the past two days she has gone out a couple of times for short walks with me and the other dogs instead of just going out in the backyard. It is wonderful to see her play a little bit before we hurry back home to the puppies again.
Koya and Yaya are very curious about these puppies, and Mira is letting them come and check them out now and then. I do stop them when I see them so Mira won't feel uncomfortable, but then I see them there when I am not looking and Mira isn't saying a word.
So in another week or so I will let them do as Mira wants! I know Yaya always loves to help out with my litters as soon as the mother will let her.
Below are a few photos from today and yesterday. Enjoy!
I know you have all been waiting patiently for puppypictures and here they are! On the photos the puppies are 1 and 2 days old.
They are all doing very well, strong, eating well and sleeping a lot and talking a lot! They have all gained weight nicely and Mira is doing a wonderful job!

So yesterday they were born, my precious little once! I took photos of their heads and ridges then but didn't have time to go trough them until today. But now here they are!
Presenting our little High-puppies as newborns.
So finally our H-litter puppies are here! (And the theme I have picked for this litter is High, names will be announced later.)
Yesterday afternoon around 2 pm I started to see a change in Mira's behaviour. She has been breathing heavily for a while but she was now panting with open mouth and also started to nest, scratching around her blankets in the puppybox.
This to mean showed that she was in the openingstage of the delivery. This can take up to 24 hours until the acctual labour starts, so I knew I would have some waiting to do!
In the evening I made up the couch next to the puppybox for me to sleep in and went to bed. She did not have any contractions yet so with my experience I knew I should try to get some sleep, it would be a long day ahead of us.
Mira who normally is not allowed onto this couch of course wanted to sleep next to me, and I couldn't say no! So she took up at least half the bed and was breathing heavy pretty much all night long so the whole bed was shaking!
Inbetween us going outside, getting water, her nesting we did get some rest/sleep even though it wasn't as much as I wished for.
Early this moring at 04.22 am I noticed the first contraction and I thought finally! Here we go! But it doesn't really go that fast. It takes time to get the contractions stronger and for the first puppy to come over the pelvis into the birthcanal.
After a few hours she wanted to go to the dogs livingroom and up onto their couch, and I decided to let her have the first puppy whereever she wanted. So at 08.04 am our first babygirl was born on the couch!
A strong girl weighing 628 grams. The rest of the puppies were born in the puppybox and they all came easily. Mira was doing good the whole day, of course tired in between the delivery of each puppy but good appetite and she took excellent care of her newborns.
Below are a list of the order, time and weight of the puppies:
1. Female - Ms Orange - 08.04 am, 628 g - Singlecrown
2. Male - Mr Blue - 09.36 am, 677 g - Correct ridge
3. Female - Ms Pink - 09.43 am, 603 g - Correct ridge (perhaps a little bit short?)
4. Female - Ms Red - 10.28 am, 580 g - Correct ridge
5. Male - Mr Green - 10.52 am, 692 g - Correct ridge
6. Female - Ms Purple - 11.14 am, 479 g - Correct ridge
7. Male - Mr Lightblue - 11.44 am, 656 g - Correct ridge
8. Female - Ms Brown - 14.14 pm, 552 g - Correct ridge
So at home we have 8 puppies, 5 girls and 3 boys. 1 girl has a singlecrown (incorrect) and 1 of the girls might have a little bit to short ridge, time will tell how it will look!
I have done a first quick check for DS (dermoid sinus) and did not find any. They have very little white, no kinked tails or other faults descovered at this point.
All the puppies are doing well, they are nursing and sleeping and talking. Mira has spend most of the afternoon sleeping but is doing very well too. Amazing how she just automaticly just knows what to do and takes care of her little once. So proud of her!
Now it is time for me to get some rest aswell. I have taken individual photos of the puppies and will publish them tomorrow. Until then you can enjoy some photos from the delivery and afterwards below.
For you who are on my waitinglist for a puppy, I will contact you within the next few days!
Mira is today on day 59 of her pregnancy. I have seen a big change in her behaviour during the day. We started with a calm morning and a walk and then my sister came and we took some photos of Mira and her belly.
Around lunch we went for another short and slow walk and Mira seemed happy and walked along easily.
After lunch she got to move into her new puppypen/box downstairs and I have been laying out all the things I need for the delivery, towels, blankets, a scale, puppycollars and so on. In the early afternoon she started breathing heavier than before and she has been moving around her blankets in her bed a lot. I believe she is in the first stage of delivery, this stage can take a long time, up to 24 hours (it did for her mum Moa her first time). She is still eating her food which they often stop doing when the delivery is close, but there as exeptions... Some hungry dogs will eat anything they are offered and during the whole delivery!
I have also seen some milk leaking from her tits, also a sign that we are close to delivery since it means that the wax that normally covers the openings of the breast during the pregnancy has gone.
So judging by her behaviour I do believe we will have puppies within the next couple of days!
So now keep your fingers crossed for her!
Below are a few photos from this morning, and below them some photos from this afternoon in the puppybox.
Today Mira is on day 58 of her pregnancy. Since I got home I have seen a big difference, of course her belly is bigger but she is struggling now. Her legs and paws are swollen and her eyes look very tired. She is ok when we are out walking and sleeps a lot. But she is uncomfortable at times and I can see she is having a hard time to find a good way to sleep.
All I can say is that I am happy for her sake that it is now only a matter of days until the puppies are here with us.
Since last time I wrote I got a new idea... I had prepared the puppybox upstairs in our dogs own room but I decided I wanted to give Mira a safe place downstairs instead. For me it is more easy during the days to keep and eye on her and her puppues aswell as the other dogs and my daughter Ellen.
So when I got up this morning I drove and bought everything I needed and started building! It is almost finished, it is a puppypen more than a box as the old on is upstairs. Here the sides are high with an opening for Mira to get in and out. I will be able to close it to keep the other dogs out and the puppies in.
As the puppies grow I will make the playpen bigger and bigger.
I hope no puppies will arrive tonight, I need tomorrow to finish it and get myself mentally prepared for the delivery!
Below are a few mobilephonephotos of Mira and her big belly relaxing in our garden and tonight checking out the new puppypen. Hopefully I will get some help to take some real photos of her tomorrow with my camera!
Today I went to vetclinic for X-ray of Mira and her big belly. The pictures are not very good for you to see, but we are sure to see 6-8 puppies. I did expect more because she is big. But we will see. It is a bit early for X-rays and you never know, someone could be hiding. But at least now I know to expect at smaller litter and I can't wait to see them in two weeks!
Mira is today on day 49 of her pregnancy which means only 2 more weeks to go! The puppies are now so big that I have started to feel them move around in her belly. I can see that Mira is a bit uncomfortable from time to time. I can only imagine how it feels!
But she is still doing good, apetite as good as it has been the whole time and she still comes on our walks. It has been warm lately though which means less long walks and not much during the warm hours of the day. But she enjoys to lay out sunbathing!
Tomorrow I am heading to veterinaryclinic to take an X-ray of her belly. I normally do it a little bit later in the pregnancy but since I am flying to Croatia tomorrow I need to do it now, it will be too late when we get home.
I hope to be able to count how many puppies she has in that belly and be prepared for her delivery! So new update hopefully tomorrow!
Yesterday Mira was on day 42 counting from the first mating. She only has three more weeks to go and her belly is really starting to grow now. The puppies are now getting larger and larger and taking up more room in her belly.
The next few weeks we have some busy days ahead of us. On Saturday I am getting married and a few days after that we are going to Croatia for one week holiday.
When I come back Mira is due to whelp in about 6 days. So to make sure she is comfortable at home when we are away I decided to prepare the puppybox for her today. She was born in the same puppybox about 2 years and 9 months ago, and now it is her turn! to use it. She seems comfortable in it so far at least, with company from her mother.
Today I went to the vet to check on Mira's mum who has been caughing, but luckily she was just fine again but I still went to just make sure. And since I was there I asked my vet to do an ultrasound on Mira since I did it only by myself the first time. The puppies are now bigger and we could see them move around and also see little heartbeats! We tried to count them which is very hard, but we think we saw atleast 10! And Mira is already very big so I do believe she has a bunch of little once hiding in her belly!
Below are a little video of one of the puppies! Enjoy!
Mira is today on day 35 of her pregnancy and she is doing well. We have now made it over halftime! Can't believe we only have 4 more weeks to go before the puppies will be born.
She is growing steadily and in only one week there is a big difference in her belly, and still it is around the final three weeks that the puppies really grow, and so also her belly.
She eats like horse and seems to be hungry all the time. Today she had vomited without me seeing it, but it doesn't seem to bother her. I think she is like normal in all other ways, still comes on our walks and takes of running with the other dogs from time to time.
Below are some new photos of her and her belly taken earlier today. Enjoy!
Mira is today on day 28 of her pregnancy and I think it is now very obvious that she is pregnant. At least to me... ;-) I see her underline has dropped down and she is rounder around her belly if you compare the photos above.
And this poor dog is hungry ALL the time! She is luckily not steeling any food but she will stare at my plate until I have finished every last bite.
And to be honest now and then she also get's a piece. To prevent foodallergies in puppies studies shows that bitches who get's to eat some mixed humanfood aswell as their normal dogfood get less allergic puppies. So Mira is happy and hopefully we will get healthy puppies too!
Below are some new photos of her from today, taken on day 28 of her pregnancy.
Today I couldn't wait any longer! I had to know if Mira and Idde was expecting puppies. I had plan to do an ultrasound tomorrow but well, today at lunch we headed for my old workplace so I could check her today.
We found puppies right away! It is impossible to try to count because they are so small and disappear easily, so you never know if you count the same one twice...
But it doesn't matter, now I now we will have puppies and can prepair for that. The puppies will be born around the 31 st of August, so almost 6 weeks left.
I will make an X-ray of Mira's belly closer to the end and then attempt to count how many puppies she has, so we are prepared for the delivery.
I weighed her today and she weighed 38,9 kg. Usually they gain around 1 kg per puppy by the end of their pregnancy.
Below are photos from the ultrasound, the black bubbles are the "puppies", or they are inside them.
She just has to be pregnant?! Looking trough the photos from yesterdays show I think her underline has changed a bit. I think she is round further back and that tells me she has a pregnant belly.
On the photos she is on day 0 and on day 18 of her pregnancy, if you look at where they white arrow on the second picture points you can see what I mean.
And as I wrote the other day, her appetite shows the same sign! Well, hopefully in a few days we will know for sure!
We are now back from our vacation and Mira is today on day 18. Happy that they days has been filled with activites and these soon 3 weeks has passed by pretty fast.
Mira is hungry as beast... she always likes food but now she is just being rude... ;-)
No one has been able to eat without her watching these last few days up north hiking! I really hope that is a sure sign of pregnancy!
I will call my vetclinic and see what day they have an appointment available next week so I can make an ultrasound to get an answer for sure if she is pregnant.
But my guess from her behaviour is that she will have about 16 puppies!!
This past Monday Mira was on day 7 of her pregnancy counting from the first mating. That means she is today on day 10. I am happy that the days are going by fast at the moments, I just want to get her pregnancy confirmed! It is too early to see any signs yet, so I just have to wait.
Took some photos of her belly on Monday so I have something to compare to as she grows bigger the next couple of months.
I will make an ultrasound around day 21-28, so almost halftime until then now!
For the past week we have had NORDUCH SEVCH Mankoya's Incredible Idde by Gambo "Idde" her to mate our girl SEUCH SEVCH RLDN RLDF Kadamo Bringin' It Back "Mira".
We took a first progesteronetes last Thursday on day 12 in her heat and it showed only 3,9 nmol/L. So I knew it would take a few more days before she would be ready.
Because Idde doesn't live near us and his owner was going away just this weekend we made arrangement to bring him to us on Friday evening. Mira was not ready then but already on Saturday morning her behaviour changed.
The whole weekend they flirted and had good attempts of mating but it was still a little bit to early.
On Monday morning day 16 I took the second progesteronetest and now it showed 48,3 nmol/L. So now it was about time for a mating, and just as I wished for it they did it!
The day after they were on it again and we had a second mating on day 17, and again on Wednesday, day 18.
The two of them has done it all so well. They really preferred to be on their own without me trying to help out. So I let them and that worked just as it should. No one holding them, no force.
I was a bit suprised that Mira was interested in Idde for so many days so I took a third bloodtest after the third mating just because I was curious.
So the day of the third and final mating, day 18 her progesteronelevel was on 59,8 nmol/L. So they timed it all very well and now we hope for a lovely bunch of puppies in 9 weeks!
Puppies expected around 31st of August and I will make an ultrasound in about 3 weeks to hopefully get the pregnancy confirmed!
For more information about the parents of this litter visit the Planned H-litter page and to follow the pregnancy visit the H-litter Pregnancy Diary.
Below are mixed photos of the couple from the past week here together with us. Enjoy!
This morning the two lovebirds obviously felt like yesterday was not enough. So when I was having breakfast they entertained themselves... and the result was another mating!
They just do it all on there own, no assistance needed, which I have to say is wonderful for dogs with no or very little experience from matings.
I know they have really picked the perfect days judging from the progesteronetest I took on Mira yesterday. She has been ovulating during the weekend and the eggs should me mature and ready. So now we wait, about three weeks before I can do an ultrasound to check and see if she is pregnant! Fingers crossed for a lovely bunch of puppies in 9 weeks!
On Friday evening I drove to Enköping and picked up Idde. He was taken there from Skåne with his "grandparents" since his owners was away in France over the weekend.
Mira and him got to meet in the evening but she was not ready for any dating, as I suspected judging by her low progesterone the day before.
On Saturday and Sunday her behaviour did change though and despite me thinking it was early the two lovebirds seem to think differently.
They struggled in the warm weather we had and only got to meet eachother for short periods of time and inbetween be apart to rest and cool down.
We did get some short matings during the weekend but without "hanging". So this morning I took a second progesteronetest to see if we were early or perhaps even late.
And Mira sure had risen faster than expected, she was on 48,3 nmol/L this morning and their interest I thought was a little bit cooler than earlier this weekend.
Well, at lunchtime the two of them was let out together in the garden. I didn't expect much but they did seem to still be interested and started to try again, and after not that long all of a sudden they were stuck together!
They did so well and stood still as I sat with them the whole time that they were stuck together, which was only for about 10 minutes.
I have to say that I am very proud of both of them. Despite the heat and them being two not very experienced dogs, they have worked so well and really like eachother. Mira has shown sides of herself as a real tramp... I thought she would even rape him when he was tired and laid down to rest in the shade! ;-)
She has been standing like a statue for him helping out in the way she can and finally, the two of them made it the whole way.
Idde will stay with us for a little bit longer, I am not sure if we will get any more matings because she was pretty high in progesterone today. But of course they will get the chance again tomorrow if they want to!
Below are some mixed photos from their dates, sensitive people might want to look away!
Today Mira is on day 12 of her heat and I took a first preogesteronetest on her. I knew it would be pretty low judging to her behaviour. And I was right, she was only at 3,9 nmol/L, and we want her above 20 for mating.
Of course Mira has managed to come into heat the only weekend when Idde's owner are traveling abroad. So to avoid stress later this weekend Idde will come to Stockholm tomorrow evening and stay until we have a mating.
That gives us some extra qualitytime with him and hopefully both he and Mira will appreciate that!
Depending on how the weekend goes I will make another progesterone test most likely on Monday. Until then we wait!
Last Sunday on the 14th of June Mira started her heat. She is today on day 10 in her heat and I will most likely take a first progesteronetest on her tomorrow to see when she might get ready for her date with Idde.
Of course she just like her mom always did match some bad days, since Idde's owners will be away this upcoming weekend... But hopefully we will make things work out anyway!
Below are a few new photos of our hopefully mum to be, taken before that belly will start to grow bigger!
