Yesterday it was time for the last dogshow of the year, with the Nordic Winner title. The breed entry was 110 and the juniors and veterans was judged by and the rest by Martin Sanders, GB .
First out was Kadamo Nothing But Gold "Argos" in juniorclass were he recieved Excellent but was unplaced in the large class.
In Workingclass SEVCH Kadamo Devil in Disguise "Isidor" won with Excellent and CQ. Unfortunately no placement in Best Male.
In Openclass Kadamo Fire It Up "Arrax" recieved Excellent and placed as 4th Best out of a large class!
Time for the the Champions and SEUCH FINCH EECH SEJW-12 Kadamo Rob Roy "Dexter". He recieved Excellent but was unplaced.
Very proud of my handsome boys, even though we did not get any new titles or great placements today.
Time for the girls, and SEVCH NOJW-15 Kadamo I'm in It for the Gold "Koya" recieved Excellent in the very big juniorclass. She placed as 3rd Best with CQ but was unplaced in Best Bitch class.
In Openclass we had Kadamo Lights My Fire "Soya" who did very well and finished 2nd in the huge class with Excellent and CQ. Later on she was thanked off as 5th Best Bitch... Sooooo close to a nice placement in the end!
In Championclass we had SEUCH FINCH SEVCH RLDN RLDF Kadamo Bringin' It Back "Mira" and SEUCH FINCH SEVCH Kadamo Thinking of Tilley "Tilly" who both recieved Excellent. Mira placed as 2nd and Tilly as 4th out of 15-16 championbitches with CQ. Unfortunately the judged only placed his classwinners so no placement for us today.
But, at the end we did enter a Breedersgroup and we won that with Honours Prize!

Thank you to all my lovely puppybyers for a wonderful day together with you!

This show was the last of the year completing the "Top Showdog /Guldhundslistan 2015"
Kadamo's top placements:
# 6 SEUCH FINCH SEVCH RLDN RLDF Kadamo Bringin' It Back "Mira" (who has been on maternityleave this summer/fall aswell!)
#8 SEUCH FINCH EECH SEJW-12 Kadamo Rob Roy "Dexter"
#11 Kadamo Playing with Fire "Zeppelin"

This weekend me, Mira and Koya spend in Finland together with Therese and Kadamo Playing with Fire "Zeppelin".
We arrived with the ferry on Friday morning and had a day to spend in Finland. We went for nice walks in the woods and enjoyed all the SNOW that fell during the day!
On Saturday morning we headed to Jyväskylä for the first International Dogshow, judged by Mr Steven Seymour, GB. Breedentry around 35-40.
I started off showing Zeppelin in Openclass where he did very well gaining Excellent and won the class with CQ.
In Best male he was picked as 5th Best Male with R-CAC... so close to the CAC that we hoped for.
Then it was time for Koya first time in Juniorclass here in Finland. She did just as well and also won her class with Excellent and CQ.
Then it was time for Mira in Championclass. The reason I went to these shows was to try to get the Finnish CAC for Mira. Unfortunately after her puppies left she lost most of her fur and has looked just awful... She has gotten better but still not "recovered" completely.
But I stil felt that since I had already paid her entry to the show I might aswell bring her. Hopefully the judges would see beyound her fur and tits and see her good qualitites.
And I was very happy to see that the judge did! Mira won the strong Championclass with Excellent and CQ so I had both girls competing in Best Bitch.
So thankfully, Therese helped me show Koya and I took Mira and they did so well! Mira won Best Bitch with CAC, making her New Finnish Champion and on top of that she got the CACIB.
Koya and Therese did well but finnished outside of placement.
Mira and I went on to compete for Best of Breed and I am not sure what happened! My girl did it! She won Best of Breed at her very first show after her maternityleave!

We stayed around for the finals this day judged by Mr Harri Lekhonen, Finland. It was a large group and I was happy to see me and Mira being picked out for his Top 6. Unfortunately we did not get placed today but it didn't matter, I was still so happy!

On Sunday it was time for the second International Dogshow judged by Mrs Liliane De Ridder-Onghena, Belgium. Breedentry: around 35-40.
Today started out in a more nervous way, this judge was a very strict one. Before I went into the ring with Zeppelin in openclass only one dog had recieved Excellent. So going in I was just very happy to be the second dog recieving Excellent this day. Unfortunately we did not get the CQ despite winning the openclass with very nice critique.
In Best Male she only had three males with CQ, and from all males only 6 had recieved Excellent, the rest VG or G.
If Zeppelin would have gotten the CQ he would automatically have been given the CAC aswell... so have to say we were a bit disappointed.
But after this it was time for Koya again in juniorclass and of course, I got very excited when she got the first Excellent! And she went on the win the class, and yes, she got a CQ and the judge say she Loved Her!
I did not think Mira would be her type but was very happy when she got Excellent too, and ended up 2nd Best Championbitch with CQ! (Only two of the Championbitches got CQ). This time I shoed Koya in Best Bitchclass and Therese was kind enough to help me show Mira. And both girls did good today with Mira ending up 3rd Best Bitch with R-CACIB and Koya 4th Best Bitch with CAC!
So despite not getting a CAC with Zeppelin I was very happy about the results this weekend!
After a long weekend that went by fast we headed back home again.
Thank you Therese for your company! It was really nice to spend my days with you! Not crazy our anything,,, ever...;)

Thank you Therese and Kati Ketonen for the nice photos!

Today it was time for the first puppyschool with my High-litter (Mira x Idde). The little once are now 10 weeks old and it is time for their owners to get some tools to work with them, and start their obedience training. They all did very well today, even if it was cold outside and they probably would much rather have just played with eachother!
Thank you all for coming today, see you again next week!

She did it! My sweet little youngster got her third 1st prize in Openclass bloodtracking today and became SEVCH- Swedish Bloodtracking Champion only 9 months and 3 weeks old!
She has recieved 1st prize from three different judges and that makes me very proud!
I have noticed that her hormones are starting to play tricks on her so I suspect that her first heat is not to far away. So because of this I wasn't sure if I should continue to track for this title this year, or just leave it for next year.
But after gaining two 1st prizes I felt like we had to try for a third, and I am happy that we did!
So let me introduce to you, SEVCH NOJW-15 Kadamo I'm in it for the Gold "Koya"!
Koya is the first one out from the Gold-litter (Kayla x Idde) to recieve this title, but I know for sure she has siblings who will follow! For Kadamo she is the 27th Bloodtrackingchampion! So proud of that! Not far from 30 SEVCH for Kadamo now!
With us in the woods today we had Koya's uncle SEUCH FINCH EECH SEJW-12 Kadamo Rob Roy "Dexter" who started his first openclasstrack, and he did great aswell gaining a 1st prize!
Keep it up and soon he'll get that championtitle aswell!

Yesterday me and Koya got up early and drove for 5 hours to attend her very first offical show in Sweden, the international dogshow in Växjö. Breedentry 30+, judge Jurate Butkiene, Litauen.
We were three dogs from Kadamo this day. First out was Koya's brother Kadamo Gold Digger making his debute in Juniorclass. He recieved Excellent and won the class with CQ. What a debute!
In Workingclass we had SEVCH RLDN Kadamo Fire and Ice "Nixon" who also recieved Excellent and was classwinner with CQ!
In Best male Boba was unplaced but Nixon made it to a very nice 3rd Best male placement with R-CAC.
Koya continued in the same way as the boys, recieving Excellent and won the juniorclass with CQ. In Best Bitch she was picked out for placement and finished 4th Best Bitch!
Very happy and proud of these three dogs and their great results today!
Thank you all for a very nice day!

Koya's critique:
"Correct type. Stylish bitch. Excellent expression and head proportions. Nice front. Looks a bit overangulated in rear. Moves with correct topline. Correct coat. Excellent temperament. Good presentation."

Today it was time for another day in the woods with the dogs. Today the last puppies also got to come along for a day outside!
Today Mira's sister Kadamo You'll Never Walk Alone "Luna" started her first openclasstrack and did a good job together with her owner Louise, and they recieved a 1st prize.
After her it was Koya's turned but her problems started right away. She had a bit of trouble finding the start but found a lot more wild animal poo...
She did track and work but not completely focused on the track. She is so young and I see these first tracks in openclass as pracise for her. I don't always manage to prepare tracks as old as 24 hours in woods with this much wild animal smells, so this is great for me.
So for Koya not a 1st prize today.
Kadamo Bloody Mary "Ebba" tracked again today with her owner Isabel and this girl is just a natural talent! She managed to track very well despite a lot of fresh distractions. So another 1st prize for her, only one more to go for her Bloodtracking Championtitle.
Ellen and the puppies really enjoyed the day, it was the first time for the puppies in the woods and they loved it. Walking around checking everything out.
The puppies were also great in the car sleeping the whole way there and home again.
Thank you all for a great day, let's do it again soon!

This morning me and Ellen drove with Koya and the rest to meet up with her aunties Kadamo Eye Opener "Nikki" and Kadamo Bloody Mary "Ebba" to start in openclass for judge Tommy Wallén.
This was Koya and Ebba's very first time in openclass after they both recently just passed the aptitudetest. I haven't had time to practise with her since then because of the puppies, but thought it was a good opportunity to test her today. Every track is practise for the next one!
For Nikki it was her second time in openclass and well, these three girls all did well and they all recieved 1st prizes, and tracked around 15 minutes (600 m long tracks).
Ebba shined today also gaining a HP! Not bad for her first time in openclass!
Congrats and well done to both Ingegerd and Isabel! Soon I think we have three more Bloodtracking Champions in our hands!

On Saturday afternoon me and Koya drove to Eskilstuna and picked up SEUCH FIUCH EECH SEJW-12 Kadamo Rob Roy "Dexter" and Kadamo Nothing But Gold "Argos" and their owners Tomas and Johnny and continued our journey towards Hamar in Norway.
It was time for this years Norwegian Winner Show judged by Bengt-Åke Bogren, SWE.
We arrived at our hotel around 9 pm and got settled in our rooms and not long after that went to bed and prepared for the early morning the next day.

For me it was the first time ever showing for this judge but I thought Koya could have a chance when checking what he has liked before.
But, Koya and Argos, being only 9 months and 3 days old and the youngest once in juniorclass I didn't have the highest expectations.
I started off showing Argos who for the first time ever shown by me acctually stood pretty still! He behaved well and recieved Excellent and finished as 3rd Best Juniormale.
After him I showed Dexter in a very large championclass. Unfortunately he was one (of many) today to recieve VG.
After the boys it was time for me to show Koya, just as her brother Argos making her official showdebute this day.
She did have a bit of hard time standing properly because of the slippery floors, but still behaved well and also recieved Excellent.
And not just that, this little thing went all the way to Best Juniorbitch with CQ and therefor became Norwegian Juniorwinner-15!
In Championclass we had SEUCH FINCH SEVCH Kadamo Thinking of Tilley "Tilly" who recieved VG today, as did several other champions this day.
In Best Bitch class Koya was up against some very nice ladies and being so young I didn't think we had even a shot of making a placement, so was surprised and very happy when we were left in the top 4!
Koya finished very nicely as 3rd Best Bitch with Norwegian R-CAC and the winnertitle!

I am so happy for Koya to have had this start in the ring! Great experience, many wonderful people around the ring and great travelcompany!
Not to forget I just have to thank my wonderful husband who were at home taking care of our daughter, the other three big dogs and our 8 puppies!
Thank you for taking on all the work letting me go! Love you!

Below are photos mostly taken by sweet Jonny (owner of Dexter and Argos) from our wonderful day! Enjoy!

Today Koya and I spend the afternoon in the woods together with her uncle SEUCH FINCH EECH SEJW-12 Kadamo Rob Roy "Dexter". It was time for them to do their aptitudetest in bloodtracking, a test needed to be done before they can start in openclass. A dog has to be 9 months old to start and well, Koya is today 9 months and 1 day old. And she passed, and so did Dexter! Very happy and proud with them both!

Today my own girl Kadamo I'm in it for the Gold "Koya" and all her siblings from the GOLD-litter (Kayla x Idde) turns 9 months old. This means that they are now juniors and will from now on be shown in juniorclass and are old enough to compete in bloodtracking and so on.
Can't wait to start showing her, I do think she is a pretty young girl! She will make her debut this weekend in Norway at the Norwegian Winner Show 2015. Her first show in Sweden will be at the end of October in Växjö.

Below are a few photos of Koya from today aswell as some photos of the whole pack out playing on the golfcourse this afternoon!

Check out the Puppy Diary for the latest updates and photos of our precious High-puppies who are now almost 7 weeks old!
I have one girl (Ms Purple) who is still looking for her perfect home. She has a correct ridge and could go to dogshows or/and do a lot of other things.
I am also looking for someone to co-own (breedingterms) Ms Brown with. She is the girl I hope to be able to bring back and use in my breedingprogramme in the future. So do you think you can provide a good home for either one of these girls, give them an active life and stay in touch with me? Then contact me for more information at karin@kadamo.se

Today it was for the very first time, for Kadamo to have a day where we got to learn about Weightpuling, pulling and more in cooperation with Hundläroverket and Irene Westerholm.
There is so many different situations to use pulling with your dog, and we got a taste of some of them today!
For example walking with a waistbelt and our bodyweight as a break. The dogs was encouraged with sausages and meatballs and did very well.
Some of us also tried riding a bike with our dogs and the first step to get them used to pulling a small carrige. For me that is something I can absolutetly see my girls doing, having my daughter Ellen in the back!
At the end of the day we tried some dragweight, DW and got to see some weightpulling. This is such a good and at the same time easy way to work your dogs whole body in a controlled way.
I know my dogs loves to run off lead but I also know that that is not very good for them, because the risks for injuiries are so big. I will try to get better on working with my dogs pulling like this, walk with a backpack and other things like that.
It was really a great day and I think I speak for all of us when I say that I feel inspired to do more work like this with my dogs, because it is fun but also to keep them in shape!
Below are some mixed photos of the dogs present today working in different styles of pulling.

The puppies are now 5,5 weeks old and are just loving life. They have gotten a bigger playarea inside but still, the mostly sleep when they are indoors and play outside in the sun.
The weather has been pretty cold lately but during the day it feels warmer. The puppies gets to go outside shorter periods in the mornings and afternoon and longer during the middle of the day. Usually this tires them out so they sleep most of the time inside, which mean I can then take the big dogs for a walk and get everything else I need to do done!
I have updated the Puppy Diary with lots of new photos from the past couple of days. Enjoy!

They are absolutely loving it and their bigsister Koya is so happy to be able to finally play with them, teaching them everything she knows...

These are dogs that has not yet done their aptitudetest in bloodtracking (or finished their championtitle) so that is what we practised for. And they all did amazing! So proud of these dogs, doesn't matter if they have almost no previous experience, they still know what to do and does it great!
With a little more practise I think I will see all these dogs out in the woods and on there way towards their Bloodtracking Championtitle during the fall!

She is happy and playful and that makes me happy to see, instead of her not wanting to leave the house like the first few days after birth.
But still, when I have Christoffer at home I take the opportunity to take the other girls to the woods for a longer walk, some bloodtracking or other activity.

When I started as a breeder 6 years ago I had hopes to produce litters with dogs that would be perfect familydogs and companions. I wanted them to be healthy, with good temperaments and of course gorgeous to look at.
I always wish to find homes that will bring out the best in each dog and give them a loving and active life.
Myself, I love dogtraining and competing, even if I have bad competitionnerves I like to have a goal to work for and achieve good results with my dogs, no matter in what kind of dogsport we are active in.
I am so happy to see that I have been able to inspire several of my puppybuyers to compete with their dogs in dogshows, bloodtracking, rallyobedience, agility, lure coursing and obedience.
To give a special honour to these talented dogs and owners from Kadamo I have finally completed my own "WALL OF FAME"-page.
On this page I have gathered all the dogs from my breeding who, together with their owners have managed to complete titles in differents dogsports.
My goal is of course for this page to just get longer and longer and fill up with more and more dogs!

In openclass Argos two uncles SEJW-12 Kadamo Rob Roy "Dexter" and BISS-13 Kadamo Johnny Walker "Loke" did great both recieving Excellent and placed 1st and 2nd in the class with CQ.
In Best male Dexter did great placing 2nd Best male, only beaten by a Finnish championmale, and in that "lost" his CAC to that dog and got the R-CAC.
I am not sad over such a great placement, but sweet and handsome Dexter so deserve to get that last CAC for his Championtitle, and he has been so close to it lately so now it just has to be his turn!
Congrats to all of you for a great day and good luck tomorrow!

Today we were invited to spend the day with Kayla (SEVCH Kadamo Fire in the Sky) and her owners in Nynäshamn. They have a boat and we loaded it with dogs, people and our daughter Ellen and set of and found an island for us to be alone at all day long.
This was the first time for Koya on a boat, and maybe Mira too? I can't remember. Anyhow they all did so well and Koya loved it! She wanted to stand or sit in the front of the boat the whole time.
The dogs spend the day playing, sunbathing and just relaxing. Thank you Jennie and Emil for a great day, lovely lunch and finally lovely weather!

This weekend I had two boys present at the International dogshow in Svenstavik. Judge was  Mr Viega Vitor Manuel, Portugal.
First out was young boy Kadamo Nothing But Gold "Argos" who was Best male puppy with HP and Best of Breed puppy. Unfortunately he was not placed in the large puppyfinal in the afternoon.
His uncle SEJW-12 Kadamo Rob Roy "Dexter" was placed 2nd Best Openclassmale with Exc and CQ and also finished 2nd Best Male with R-CAC and R-CACIB. Soooo close to that last final CAC he needs to complete his championtitle...
Big congrats to both boys and their owners for great results! Some pictures below taken by Jonny.

I have recieved some new photos of one of the boys from my last litter, the GOLD-litter (Kayla x Idde). This handsome guy Kadamo Digging for Gold "Boba" is now 6,5 months old and had a date yesterday with his dad Idde. They had a little photoshoot and I am happy to have gotten a bunch of wonderful photos taken by Boba's owner Freda Thimell. Thank you!

Today I just couldn't wait any longer, so at lunch we drove to my old workplace, Mälaren Smådjursklinik to do an ultrasound on Mira.
I have felt very sure that she is pregnant, but still, before I see it on the screen I can't be a 100 % sure.
But she is pregnant! We saw a bunch of little puppies in the making in her belly so now I can relax for a while before it is time for her delivery.
They puppies is expected to be born around the 31 st of August. So about 6 weeks of waiting now begins!
See more photos from the ultrasound in the Pregnancy Diary.

Last night I went to Lure coursingpractice with Elin and Marcus and their two RR-girls Souki (SEVCH Kadamo Heart Stopper) and Noomi (SEVCH Kadamo Fire in my Heart).
I used to do LC training with my girls when they were younger but since Ridgebacks are not allowed to compete in Sweden it was not easy to find opentrainings that we could attend.
So the past few years we have been to RR-race that are held on Greyhound ovaltracks.
But last night it was time to try real LC again.
Since I hope Mira is pregnant I decided not to let her race and Koya is too young, so it was my two experienced girls Moa (9 years) and Yaya (7 years) who got to do it.
And that very quicly realised what was up and definetely remember what to do!
They got to run once each, the weather was very bad with rain and it all took so long so we did not stay for a second run this time.
Happy to see that Moa's kids and grandkids also seem to love this! Thank you Marcus and Elin for the photos!

Yesterday it was time for the International Dogshow in Köping, judged by Davern Pluis, USA.
First out in the ring was young boy Kadamo Nothing But Gold "Argos" who did well winning Best Male puppy with HP and Best of Breed puppy.
I was supposed to show his sister, my girl Kadamo I'm in it for the Gold "Koya" but unfortunately didn't get there in time. The judge was still kind enough to let me show her to get a critique, even though we were outside of the official competition.
Her critique:
"Lovely puppy. Good frontassembly. Lovely rear. Very nice outline. Very feminine. Beautifully balanced."
She asked  me if she could take her home... and really wanted to award her something but since we got there to late that was not possible. I am still pleased with how Koya behaved even though she did not get to run/compete against any other puppies.

After the puppies it was time for the official classes and I had brother Kadamo Fire it Up "Arrax" and Kadamo Playing with Fire "Zeppelin" in intermediateclass. Both boys did very well gaining Excellent, Arrax placed 2nd with CQ and Zeppelin 3rd.
In Workingclass I showed Kadamo A Big Hunk o' Love "Attila" for the second time, his second show ever. He behaved very well and recieved Excellent and finished 2nd in the class.
In openclass we had SEJW-12 Kadamo Rob Roy "Dexter" who is on the hunt for his third and final CAC needed for his Championtitle. Today he finished nicely as 2nd in the class with Exc and CQ.
None of the boys were placed in Best male class today.

Time for the girls and today I got to show SEVCH Kadamo Lady in Red "Chanel" in workingclass. She was happy to be in the ring eating candy with me and recieved Excellent and placed 2nd in the class with CQ.
In Championclass I showed  my girl SEUCH SEVCH RLDN RLDF Kadamo Bringin' It Back "Mira" to a 4th place with Excellent and SEUCH FINUCH SEVCH Kadamo Thinking of Tilley "Tilly" won the class with Excellent and CQ.
In Best Bitchclass she made it all the way to 3rd Best Bitch! We wentered with a Breedersgroup with dogs from 4 different combinations, so not the most homogen group, so we finished 3rd.

Thank you all for a very nice day, see you again in a few weeks!

What a week we have had! Evey year for the past few years I have gone with my dogs to the north of Sweden to hike and enjoy the lovely scenery. Every year when I come home I have puppybyers telling me they also want to go.
So this year I thought, why not try to bring them all? I was very happy to see that a lot of people wanted to go so after some months of planning we were 21 people and 15 dogs who headed for Lindvallen, Sälen.
There we had rented a a three storeyhouse with room for all of us! We all arrived there during Sunday afternoon/evening and on Monday we went for our first hike.
We started with the longest one which was about 15 km long and with a lot of stops on the way it took us almost 6 hours.  With 6 children with us we adjusted the speed after them, and we were all so impressed with them!
After the first day we all enjoyed a great BBQ and lovely evening at the house together.
Day 2 we all drove to Fulufjället and hiked to Swedens largest waterfall Njupeskär. There we split up and some went on a shorter hike around 5 km and some of us took the longer 10 km walk up and around the waterfall. We got some rain at first but when that passed we had some very nice weather and really enjoyed our hike, which was a bit rough at some places with lots of rocks and steap hills up and down.
When we got back to the cars the rain came again and we headed home for another great meal together.
Day 3 started with a lot of rain so we spend half the day with indooractivites. Some shopping and lunch before the weather finally got better. Some people were driving home today so they went off earlier on a 11 km hike around Tandådalen and some of us went 10 km at Högfjällshotellet in the afternoon. In the evening after dinner all of us who was still there went bowling. It was a great evening, thank you all!

One evening after dinner me and Christoffer got a big surprise from all my puppybyers. They had written a lovely rime, made a gift basket with champagneglasses with our initialts on, some bottled drinks also with our initals and the biggest gift, a huge parasol with the Kadamologo on it. THANK you to each and everyone of you for this! Love you all to bits!

These few days up north was great and I do hope that we can do it again next year, and perhaps be even more people going?!
Below are photos from our three hikes, enjoy!

Today it was time for the yearly large Ridgeback Specialty Show. This year it was held in Almare Stäket just 10 minutes drive from my house.
Judge: Gill Lawless, UK, breedentry 120.

First out was our "petboy" Kadamo Jack Daniels "Zimba" in petclass were he did great with his handler Amanda, finishing nicely 2nd Best Male.
After him it was time for 4 of my Gold-litter puppies to make their showdebut in puppyclass 4-6 months. I got to show Kadamo Aiming for Gold "Walter" who placed 2nd with HP. His brothers Kadamo Nothing But Gold "Argos" finished 4th with HP and Kadamo Gold Rush "Tor" finished 5th with HP.
After the boys it was my turn to enter the ring with my sweet girl Kadamo I'm in it for the Gold "Koya". She won her class with HP and got to compete for Best Bitch puppy against the classwinner 6-9 months. Little Koya won and competed after that against the Best Male puppy and won again making her Best of Breed Puppy/ Best in Show puppy!
So proud of her for doing such a good job at her first show, and the result just a big bonus!

After the puppies the official classes begin and in Intermediateclass I had two boys entered. I showed Kadamo Playing with Fire "Zeppelin" and he recived EXC, won the class and got CQ.
His brother Kadamo Fire it Up "Arrax" finished 3rd in the class with VG.
In Workingclass their brother SEVCH RLDN Kadamo Fire and Ice "Nixon" showed off and won the class with EXC and CQ. I showed SEVCH RLDN RLDF Kadamo You're the Boss "Bellman" who finished very nicely 2nd with EXC and CQ.
In Openclass I had three boys present. Won the whole class did  SEJW-12 Kadamo Rob Roy "Dexter"with EXC and CQ. His halfbrother SEVCH Kadamo Devil in Disguise "Isidor" finished nicely on 4th place in the class with EXC and BISS-13 Kadamo Johnny Walker "Loke" also recieved EXC.
So excited for Best Male competition, with four dogs present and three of them classwinners today!
Placed in Best Male was Kadamo Playing with Fire "Zeppelin" as 7th and SEJW-12 Kadamo Rob Roy "Dexter" as 5th Best Male.

I want to say a HUGE congratulations to my lovely puppybyers for todays great result! It is thanks to you that your dogs are so welltrained and wellbehaved in the ring, and you all deserve the success!

Also I want to thank each and everyone of you who helped me to take care of my daughter Ellen the whole day! My day would have been a disaster without your help today! So thank you!!!

Tomorrow we are heading north for a few days of hiking with friends and dogs, so will not show my other girls at BISS tomorrow. But I wish everyone else good luck!

We have spend a bit less than a week on the Swedish westcoast, near Tvååker where my parents have a little house. This was Koya and my daughter Ellen's first time on the beach and they both loved the ocean!
We had good luck with the weather the first day but that was about it. After that it has been extremely windy and also rain.
So not exactly the relaxing sunny holiday that I was hoping for... But we still had a very nice time going to the woods, shopping, visiting Christoffers parents and also spending time with mine.
Now we are back home getting ready for Koya's very first show on Saturday and next week we are going hiking up north with a big bunch of Kadamodogs and owners.
Below are mixed photos from our days on the westcoast! Enjoy!

For the past week we have had NORDUCH SEVCH Mankoya's  Incredible Idde by Gambo "Idde" her to mate our girl SEUCH SEVCH RLDN RLDF Kadamo Bringin' It Back "Mira".
We took a first progesteronetes last Thursday on day 12 in her heat and it showed only 3,9 nmol/L. So I knew it would take a few more days before she would be ready.
Because Idde doesn't live near us and his owner was going away just this weekend we made arrangement to bring him to us on Friday evening. Mira was not ready then but already on Saturday morning her behaviour changed.
The whole weekend they flirted and had good attempts of mating but it was still a little bit to early.
On Monday morning day 16 I took the second progesteronetest and now it showed 48,3 nmol/L. So now it was about time for a mating, and just as I wished for it they did it!
The day after they were on it again and we had a second mating on day 17, and again on Wednesday, day 18.
The two of them has done it all so well. They really preferred to be on their own without me trying to help out. So I let them and that worked just as it should. No one holding them, no force.
I was a bit suprised that Mira was interested in Idde for so many days so I took a third bloodtest after the third mating just because I was curious.
So the day of the third and final mating, day 18 her progesteronelevel was on 59,8 nmol/L. So they timed it all very well and now we hope for a lovely bunch of puppies in 9 weeks!
Puppies expected around 31st of August and I will make an ultrasound in about 3 weeks to hopefully get the pregnancy confirmed!
For more information about the parents of this litter visit the Planned H-litter page and to follow the pregnancy visit the H-litter Pregnancy Diary.
Below are mixed photos of the couple from the past week here together with us. Enjoy!
