All our eleven puppies has now moved to their new families and seems to be doing well. Can't wait to see them in a week and a half when we have our first puppyclass. I wish you all the best of luck with your new family members, and welcome you to the big Kadamo family!

The puppies are now 6,5 weeks old and we are enjoying long days outside. The nights and mornings are cold but during the day the temperature has been nice these past few days so the puppies has been able to spend a lot of time outside exploring our garden.

All the puppies seemed to have recover from their diarrea so now with some better weather and temperatures they have gotten to spend a lot of time outside. Happily they explore new places in the garden aswell as folling me around.
Here are the 5 weeks stacked photos. They are not great since it was a bit cold and many of the puppies were not feeling great because of diarrea... No photo of Mr Yellew who was not at all in the mood. At least now they are better and hopefully we will do better photos on Wednesday when they turn 6 weeks old!

The puppies has now been allowed to come outside in our garden to explore. I am so happy we have had a few days with nicer warmer weather since it makes the experience for the puppies so much nicer. They are curious and playful and seem to enjoy it, even though they are not awake for such a long time. They now eat some of their meals outside so they can practise going potty outside. Always as they wake up or when they eat the pee and poo. And 11 puppies makes quite many piles on the floor... so we are taking the opportunity to practise to do it outside!
Yesterday I got some help from my husband and we had a photoshoot with the puppies now 4 weeks old. First time on the table for them but think they did well.
The puppies are now 4 weeks old and we have started to get some visitors from future puppybyers. I had an attempt on individual photos today but not successful, so will try to convince my husband to help me tomorrow. Until then some mixed photos of the puppies to enjoy!
Yesterday the puppies turned 3 weeks old and had a big day. They got to move out of the swimmingpool into the room next door where they will have lots more space to move around as they are now getting bigger.
They also had their weekly nailtrim and got to taste some solid food for the very first time. We also had the weekly weighin and photoshoot!

Yesterday the puppies turned 2 weeks old and we had another individual photoshoot. They have all now opened their eyes and gaining weight. They are getting stronger which shows when they move around since they are now up on all four walking/crawling.

The puppies are sson two weeks and have started to open their eyes. Some mixed photos from the past week below.
Our gorgeous Nissan-puppies are now 1 week old and growing steady. It took a couple of days before Heera had filled up completely with milk so the weight gain went a little bit slow the first couple of days. But now they have all gained weight well and you can see that they have gotten bigger. Some you can see is trying to open their eyes already, but it will most likely take a couple of days before they start opening for real.

The puppies are doing very well and Heera is a wonderful mother. I took some individual photos of them and here they are!
Our fantastic N-litter is here! Yesterday in the evening Heera started to show signs that things was starting to happen so I told her and Dexter's owners to get prepared.
At 19.00 pm she had her first contractions and after that everything went fast! At 19.09 the first puppy was born! After that they kept coming with a little bit of rest in between, and what looked like not that much effort. When number four had been born both Dexter's owner Tomas and Heera's owners Mina and Marita arrived and kept us company.
It was nice to be able to share the wonderful experience with them, I love every whelping!
After ten puppies had arrived she had a long break without any contractions. When we were passing 3-4 hours without contractions despite running with her, food, water and rest I started calling around the to animalclinics closest by to see if they could assist us.
Unfortunately they couldn't so we decided to wait a bit longer since I was able to feel a puppy and stimulate contractions. And eventually the contractions started back up again and got closer apart until the puppy finally started to show.
I had been worried it would be stillborn due to the low contractions and the long time that had gone by, so I can't even describe the relief and happiness I felt when the puppy came out alive and healthy!

Heera did a wonderful job with amazing instincts caring for her puppies right away. Always amazing to see how they just know what to do without being taught. Despite the long resting period she had a very easy delivery.
Now we are happy after some rest and look forward to getting to know these new little once!
Now we are really counting down! Three more days until full term, so my guess is still that she will start before that. She is resting a lot in her puppyroom but still goes out for some strolls and shorter walks.
The temperature outside has been cooler the past few days which I think is good for her, she seems more comfortable and panting less.
Very excited now to see the puppies she is hiding in there! Next update here will be with puppynews!
Heeras beautiful big belly on day 56. Now the countdown can begin, only one week left to go!
Today I took Heera to the vetclinic for an X-ray to see how many puppies we are expecting. I always do this because it feels good to me during the delivery, to know when we can relax and knowing that the bitch is done, or if there are puppies left if things goes slow.
I am happy to say that we saw 11 puppies in Heeras belly.
Heera is doing well but the warm weather is affecting her. She mostly wants to just sleep somewhere and her apetite is not great. So for her sake I hope for cooler temperatures next week when she is due to have her puppies.
Sweet Heera and her growing belly! She is doing well but taking it slower, it is heavy to walk around with that big belly in the middle of the summer heat. On Tuesday we are going to the vet to do an X-ray hoping to be able to count how many puppies she is expecting. So more updates after that!
On Thursday Heera was on day 41 of her pregnancy and I recieved some new photos of her and her lovely growing belly. Such a pretty mum to be!
Now it is only a week left before she moves in with us and then two weeks to settle in before her puppies are due.
Another week has gone by and Heera's belly is growing every day. So curious to see what she is hiding in there, but still a month left. In about two weeks she will move in to get settled and then we just wait!
Heera is today on day 28 of her pregnancy and this morning her owners took her to the vet for an ultrasound. Just as expected she was confirmed in whelp. Very happy about this! The vet did not want to try to count so we will just have to wait and see if she carries a big or small litter.
She now has 5 more weeks to go and is expected to give birth around 21-23rd of July.
Heera has now passed three weeks since her mating with Dexter. On Friday the 18th of June she will go to an ultrasound and we are keeping our fingers crossed for a positive result. Heera has been more calm than usual, and her tits are a bit swollen, so hoping that are signs of pregnancy!
Yesterday we went for a second date between Heera and Dexter. But this time the interest was not as big as the day before, and in the end they did not mate again. We can just see that as them being saticified with the first mating and not needing any more.
So now we all we can do is wait and cross our fingers for puppies in 9 weeks!
Today it was time to let Heera and Dexter meet again. Heera is on day 16 of her heat and her progesteronetest from two days ago showed that she hopefully was ovulating during the night or today.
It took less than 10 minutes of running and playing before we had a mating. They were stuck together for 9 minutes. We will go back again tomorrow after breakfast to see if they want to mate a second time.

Yesterday we went to see Dexter for a first date. They had some good attempts but they did not feel really comitted to their task. So we took a progesteronetest which showed 5 nmol/L and that means she has not ovulated yet. So we will wait until Friday for a second date and hope they are both ready then.
I am happy to finally say that Heera is in heat! We expected her to come into heat in March so she has really had is waiting for it! If all goes well I will do a progesteronetest in a bit less than two weeks to know when it is time for us to go and see future daddy Dexter.
So keep your fingers crossed for a successful mating in about two weeks!
