2024
All our puppies has found their homes and moved during the Christmas week. I have gotten reports of them doing well adapting to their new homes and familymembers. Some of them get's to live with older ridgebacks or other breeds. Happy to see so many old ridgebackowners getting their new dog from me. I hope they will be everything you have ever hoped for. In this litter 10 families (including me) have or have had ridgeback before.
I wish you all the best for the future and can't wait to see you again in a few weeks at puppyclass!

Me and my whole pack wants to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I got myself the best Christmasgift by keeping a puppy from my Queen-litter. She will get her own big introduction soon.

I have updated the Puppy Diary with photos from the last few days together with the Queen-litter. The weeks has gone by and they are now 8 weeks old and starting to move to their new families.

What a way to finish of the showyear of 2024! The largest show in Sweden was held in Stockholm and this year with the Nordic Winner title. I only had two Kadamodogs entered this year and boy did they keep our flag at the top!
Breedentry 77 and judge was Mr Tom Johnston, GB.
In Championclass I got to show our superstar EUJW-23 NORDJW-23 NORDW-23 NORDW-24 SEJW-22 SEW-22 SEW-23 CIB-J SEVCH SEUCH FINCH NOUCH DKUCH RLDN Kadamo Can Y' See It Now "LEO" won the large class of topquality ridgebacks and went all the way to Best male with Nordic CAC and the title Nordic Winner 2024.
In Veteranclass I got to show lovely SEVCH SEVW-23 NORDVW-24 Kadamo Always Aiming High "Django" who looked great for his age and he won the class with CQ and the title Nordic Veteran Winner 2024.
Leo went all the way and became Best of Breed and Django was Best Opposite Sex.
Leo and I entered the large finalring in the evening where he got picked out as BIG-4 amongst many lovely topwinning dogs!
So two Kadamodogs at the show, two classwinners, one Best of Breed, one Best Opposite Veteran , one BIG-4 and two new Nordic Winner titles!

Our Queen-litter (Nada x Scharko) is now 7 weeks old and we got new photos of them all yesterday. Check out the Puppy Diary to see them all.
We still have two puppies available, Ms White (correct) and Ms Darkgreen (incorrect). Send me an email to karin@kadamo.se if you want to know more about these lovely girls. Ready to move December 22nd.

Lots of mixed photos of the puppies from the past few days when they have been enjoying being outside. Check out the Puppy Diary!

The Queen-litter is now 6 weeks old and we have new photos of them aswell as their official pedigree names now done! Check out the Puppy Diary for the latest photos and to see what names they got!

The Queen-litter is 5,5 weeks old and spending most of their time playing in our kitchen. It is hard to get good photos because when the run and play the photos get blurry. But some new photos can be seen in the Puppy Diary.

Th puppies has gotten to step outside for the first time earlier this week. It has been very cold so they are not too excited. But they are curious so they do explore a little bit. So far we have stayed on our veranda but eventually I will get them down on the ground so they learn to pee and poo even if it is snow.
More photos in the Puppy Diary!
I still have a couple of girls available for the right family. Email me at karin@kadamo.se for more information.

Our polish prince Almach Eta Leonis Evolution "Cooper" has turned 7 months and is continuing to develop very nicely. It was a bit cold today but could not resist taking some new photos when he was sitting looking cute on our doorstep. He is bending his knees a bit extra because it is cold, he is a bit overbuilt at the moment with his but higher up in the air than his front.... Great age ;)
But still looking so handsome! He weighs around 36 kg now, I have not meassured his height but guessing around 66-67 cm.

Today the Queen-litter turned 5 weeks old I took their second stacked photos. Not completely easy with some of them getting a bit stiff on the table but the results can be found in the Puppy Diary.

Yesterday the puppies turned 4 weeks old and I took their first standing photos. They did realy well I think for the first time. See their new individual photos in the Puppy Diary.
We have two girls still looking for their new families. They have incorrect ridges so not for show or breeding. More info through email to karin@kadamo.se

The Queen puppies are now 4 weeks old and I have updated the Puppy Diary with the last weeks mixed photos.
Two girls (with incorrect ridges so not for shows) are still looking for their new homes. Are you interested in offering one of them an active home send me and email to karin@kadamo.se and let me know what you can offer.

Our gorgeous queen Mira (SEVW-23 CIB SEUCH FINUCH NUCH DKUCH ESTCH SEVCH RLDN RLDF LP1 BPISS-13 Kadamo Bringin' it Back) from the Elvis-litter (Moa x Kimba) celebrates her 12th Birthday today. She is unfortunately the last one alive in this litter, so today we also send love to her angel siblings and their owners loving and missing them.
I am so happy to still have Mira with us. Her great grandchildren at our house at the moment, hopefully some of them will follow in her successful footsteps in the future.
Mira is weaker in the backlegs and at the moment has her very first UTI, which I hope we will get under control soon. She is doing well, still comes along on our walks just taking it in her own pace, if she falls behind she just runs to catch up again.
I will make sure to treasure all the time we still have and I hope we will get to celebrate more of your birthdays. Love you to the moon and back!

New headshots of the puppies now 3 weeks old in the Puppy Diary. A couple of girls (not for show) are still looking for their perfect families.
More info about the litter under Planned Queen-litter.

The puppies are 18 days old today and they are doing great. I am helping Nada out with feeding some supplement milk so all the puppies stays happy and full. Today they also got their first taste of "solid" food which they all loved. They have had their tiny claws cut for the first time this week aswell.
Lots of new photos in the Puppy Diary.

New individual photos in the Queen-litter Puppy Diary. Some of the puppies where tired and wanted to sleep through it like Ms Purple here on the photo. But I got them awake and eyes open.

Our babies are growing and eyes are starting to open. Lots of new photos from day 9-11 in the Puppy Diary. Enjoy!

I recieved some new photos of beautiful golden oldie SEVCH Kadamo Heart Stopper "Souki" from the Drinks-litter. This beautiful girl turns 13 years old in the end of February next year. They are only rhree siblings still alive and I hope they will all last to celebrate that birhday!

I have updated the Puppy Diary with lots of new photos of the puppies from day 4-7.

The Queen-litter (Nada x Scharko) is now 1 week old and I took new headshots of them today. See them all in the Puppy Diary.

Today I experienced what every breeder is worried about and fear. Nada was alone in the puppyroom when I was getting dressed and ready this morning and at some point she had gotten up and laid down again and unfortunaely laid on top of Mr Lightblue. When I discovered this it was already too late to save his life. Despite this I tried for a long time with CPR hoping I would be able to bring him back but I couldn't.
This is the exact reason to why I sleep in the puppyroom for at least three weeks, why I am in there almost 24/7 or make someone else watch them for me if I need to go out for arrends or such. But sometimes I have to leave the room and today that was the wrong decision.
I know this happens to breeders but for me and 15 years breeding this is the first time a loose a puppy in this awful way.
He was so beautiful, so strong. I would have loved to have seen him grow up, be loved by a family. Now he never will and it breaks my heart. It will take time to get over this, if I ever will.
It has been a lesson learned the hard way. No matter for how long you been doing this, or how good the bitch is with her puppies, things like this can happen. I will most likely double and triple check and count puppies now everytime the bitch changes position in the puppybox. I don't ever want to experience this again.
Rest in peace my love, your will never be forgotten.

Finally a big photo updated in the Puppy Diary from the first three days! All puppies clear on their first check for DS aswell.

Our superstar has achived a new title! He is now SEW-23 EUJW-23 NORDJW-23 NORDW-23 SEJW-22 SEW-22 CIB-J SEVCH SEUCH FINCH NOUCH DKUCH RLDN Kadamo Can Y' See It Now "LEO". Leo and his mum Malin has done four competitions in Rallyobedience noviceclass. Out of these four they got three qualifying results and the last two with 99 and 93 points out of 100. That also gave him a 1st place and a 3rd place! This gave him the RLDN title!
Big congratulations to you both! Very well done!

Our fabolous 14 Queen-puppies are 1 day old and all of them has gained weight since birth yesterday. Today I took their first individual photos which you can see in the Puppy Diary.

Today Nada gave birth to 14 fantastic puppies! 5 males (all correct ridges) and 9 females (1 extra crown?, 1 offset with kinked tail), 1 singlecrown?. I had only seen 13 puppies on the X-ray so I was a little surprised when she had more contractions and gave birth to one more puppy. I still can't see him on the Xrays! Nada did a fabolous job and is a natural. She delivered them all in just over 8 hours without any problems.
I have updated the Puppy Diary with all the details about the delivery.
We have some puppies still available so welcome to contact me at karin@kadamo.se if you are interested in a puppy from this litter. More information about the parents under Planned Queen-litter.

Look at this beauty! Sweet Nada is today on day 56 of her pregnancy and only one more week left. I can't believe how beautiful she is, despite carrying this heavy big belly. I will be expecting to see these puppies maybe a few days earlier. Normally most of my litters are born a day or two early so we will see when these puppies and Nada are ready. We will be waiting!
The Pregnancy & Puppy Diary has been updated.

Our Polish boy Almach Eta Lenonis Evolution "Cooper" is now 6 months old and has been with us in Sweden a bit over 2,5 months. He is a lovely young dog who loves all people! Look forward to being able to start showing him next year, I think he is so handsome.

Today Nada is on day 51 of her pregnancy and I took and X-ray at work to check how many puppies we are expecting in less than two weeks. And if I count correct there is 13 puppies in her belly! I did not think she was quite that big so more than I expected!
Exciting times ahead!

Our lovely Queen-litter mama is getting bigger and bigger! She is now on day 49 out of 63 so only two weeks left of this pregnancy. New photos in the Pregnancy & Puppy Diary.

SEVW-23 CIB SEUCH FINUCH NUCH DKUCH ESTCH SEVCH RLDN RLDF LP1 BPISS-13 Kadamo Bringin' it Back "Mira" is now the only one alive from my Elvis-litter (Moa x Kimba) who was born almost 12 years ago. At November 22nd Mira will celebrate her 12th Birthday and I am so happy to still have her here with me. I can not believe that you are now this golden oldie, you have always been young in my eyes. But you still got the energy and even though a bit weeker behind you still jump up in the car or couch by yourself. I really do hope we get to have you around for a lot longer.

SEW-23 EUJW-23 NORDJW-23 NORDW-23 SEJW-22 SEW-22 CIB-J SEVCH SEUCH FINCH NOUCH DKUCH Kadamo Can Y' See It Now "LEO" from the Oasis-litter (Tiya x Maddox) made his rallyobediencedebut his weekend with his first qualifying result in noviceclass together with his owner Malin. Congratulations and well done!

Today Nada was on a ultrasound and pregnancy is confirmed! Our Queen-litter is on the way at the end of October! Just five more weeks to go before we get to meet them.
More info about the parents of this upcoming litter can be found under Planned Queen-litter. You can also follow the pregnancy in the Pregnancy Diary.

Kadamo Let There Be Love "Onyx" from the Oasis-litter (Tiya x Maddox) passed the aptitudetest in bloodtracking.
Earlier this summer I got to meet him when I was driving to the south of Sweden. He is such a handsome boy. Some photos of him from that little date below.

Last weekend Maddox handsome son Lustjaktens Härliga Hero "Harry" won Best male, his first CAC, Best of Breed and went all the way to Best in Group-1! What an amazing way to get that first Swedish CAC! Congratulations owners Jeanette and Alexandra for the wonderful results!

Finally the announcement this lovely upcoming litter deserves! Nada and Scharko was mated 28th and 29th of August. Scharko came all the way from Slovakia with his owner Milan to see us here in Sweden. Nada and Scharko liked eachother right away and we had two easy matings two days in a row.
I am very happy that we were able to do it natural instead of insemination and it was a pleasure to get to spend a little bit of time with Scharko.
I took a lot of photos of Scharko and you can see all those photos and more information about the parents to be under Planned Queen-litter 2024. You can also follow the latest updated at the Queen-litter Pregnancy & Puppy Diary.
If you are interested in a puppy from this combination please take the first contact with me through email at karin@kadamo.se.
Puppies are expected to be born at the end of October and ready to move to their new families just around Christmas 2024.

I got to meet our boy Maddox the other weekend and he is always so happy to see me. Always smiling and wagging tail. His co-owner Olle and Kicki is keeping him in great shape.

Our little Polish princess "Chloe" Atria Eta Leonis Evolution is now almost 4,5 months old and I took some new photos of her when I saw her about a week ago. She is doing so well living with "bigbrother" Leo and her co-owners Malin and Andreas.

Nada and Soro has been mated today and the journey for our Queen-litter has begun! More info about the parents under Planned Queen-litter and in the Pregnancy and Puppy Diary.

This Sunday it was time for this year bloodtracking competition for Kadamo dogs! We have been doing this once a year since my very first litter so I am happy that there is still people and dogs entering.
It was a bit of a tough trackday for the dogs because of the weather. When the bloodtracks were laid the day before it was warm and dry. Then is started to get very windy and before we started our test we got plenty of rain. Some dogs did struggle a little bit because of this but we also got some very nice results and 1st prices!
This years winner was Kadamo Fuckin' Perfect "Riley" and second was his uncle SEVCH AGD1 AGHD1 RLDN Kadamo Live Life Like Timon ”Nacho”. At an honourable third place we had SEVCH Kadamo Juke "Nelson". I have my own dogs out of competition since I am doing this for my puppybuyers. I had SEVCH Kadamo A Million Dreams "Tosca" with me and she did very well and got a first price.
I also tracked with her older sister SEVCH Kadamo Keep the Dream Alive "Nada" (mother to our upcoming litter this fall) and she also got a first price.
Thank you everyone who attended! Always so nice to see you and your dogs! Congratulations on great results aswell!

The dame of our upcoming Queen-litter is SEVCH Kadamo Keep the Dream Alive "Nada". She started her heat 10 days ago and her progesterone is now staring to rise. Her boyfriend to be MultiCH Socrates Lakota Löwenschwanz "Soro" is now on his way to us all the way from Slovakia.
A Pregnancy and Puppy Diary has now been started where you will be able to follow the latest updated on Nada and the Queen litter.

I recieved some new photos of our boy SEUCH FINCH NOUCH SEVCH Ave Caesar Diamond Jewel of Rubi "Maddox" from his family that was taken by Jakke Röntynen. Our handsome boy is now 4,5 years old.

Today I went to Eskilstuna to show siblings Leo and Nada from the Oasis-litter (Tiya x Maddox). Leo was 3rd in Championclass and 4th Best Male. Nada was 2nd in openclass.
Both dogs behaved well and it was a nice day at the show even though we did hope for a little bit better results.
Nada has just started her heat and if we can make the logistics work she will have puppies later this fall. More info is coming!

Beautiful and talented halfsisters SEVCH Kadamo Keep the Dream Alive "Nada" from the Oasis-litter (Tiya x Maddox) and SEVCH Kadamo A Million Dreams "Tosca" from the Pink-litter both recieved their third 1st prize in openclass bloodtracking yesterday and completed their Swedish Bloodtracking Championtitle.

This weekend me and Malin Gregebo went to Poland by ferry from Karlskrona and picked up our two new familymembers. Siblings "Cooper" Almach Eta Leonis Evolution and "Chloe" Atria Eta Leonis Evolution. They handled the long journey perfectly, with busride, elevator, ferry and car. They peed on deck, slept through the whole night and were so happy, social and brave.
Thank you Magdalena for these two wonderful young dogs and all you have done to give them such a great start in life. We look forward to get to know them and have fun together!

This weekend we did not only attend dogshows we did some bloodtracking aswell. On Friday afternoon we met with a nice judged near Malin and Leos cabin. Leo and sister Nada both got a first prize (first openclass track for Nada and first time with me ever!).
Tosca had a bit more difficult time and needed assistance so she only got a thirdprize.
On Saturday after the show Tosca and Nada had another track booked with another nice judge in the area. It had been raining a lot during the morning but in the afternoon when it was time it was warm and sunny. Tosca got her second first prize and did a very good job and bigsister Nada got a second prize after taking a bit to long to sort out one of the angles.
Very proud of the girls going home with one first prize each.

Yesterday we attended the Nordic Show in Ransäter judged my Lars Widén Sweden with two dogs from the Oasis-litter (Tiya x Maddox). First out was SEW-23 EUJW-23 NORDJW-23 NORDW-23 SEJW-22 SEW-22 CIB-J SEVCH SEUCH FINCH NOUCH DKUCH Kadamo Can Y' See It Now "Leo" in championclass which he won and went all the way to Best Male with another Nordic CAC.
I showed his sister Kadamo Keep the Dream Alive "Nada" aswell in openclass but she got very uncomfortable with the judge so today she could not be judged. She was fine around all the people outside the ring but the situation with him handling her she was not ok with and wanted to get away. We will work more on this and hopefully next time she will do better <3
Handsome Leo hold our head high despite this and he was Best of Breed! No placement this time in the groupfinals.

On Sunday me and Tosca (Kadamo A Million Dreams) from the Pink-litter (Tiya x Ari) started in our first openclass bloodtrack. We had two judges (on learning to be a judge) and Tosca impressed them both. In the beginning of the track we met a deer but Tosca handled that really well and got back to work very fast. She got her first 1st prize and now needs two more to complete her bloodtracking champion title!

Kadamo Wonderwall "Dexter" from the Oasis-litter (Tiya x Maddox) was shown at the national dog show in Piteå, judge Ligita Zake. He won the openclass with EXC and CQ and was placed Best male with CAC and later Best Opposite sex. Big congratulations to owner and handler Johanna!
