The puppies are here!

We are finally home! It has been a looooong day (night and day). I have now been awake for 33 hours and feeling pretty tired.
A short summary:
During the morning Moa delivered 6 puppies at home, three boys and three girls. After that number 7 took his time... I could only feel his tale and not get is backlegs to point backwards. So after a few hours I decided to take Moa to the vet.
There we got help and after a struggle for Moa, she delivered this puppy aswell, another boy. About one hour later puppy number 8 was born, and yes a boy!
We took an X-ray and saw one more puppy, so more waiting.
Moa continued to have great contractions and doing wonderfully. But this puppy was taking his time. So after another few hours and he didn't get further out the vet came to assist again.
With a teameffort Moa delivered him aswell, but to my great sorrow he was stillborn. He was a bit stiff so he didn't assist at all on his way out.
To see her with the dead puppy was also amazing, so caring, and loving but yet she understood.
Moa has gotten so much praise from all the vets and nurses, for being an amazing bitch. Seeing the pain she was in as the vets had to assist to get the stuck puppies out, completely broke my heart. I couldn't hold back my tears as I saw my brave girl work so hard with the vet to get those puppies out.
And I love her to death for trusting me with all these new people in a difficult situation like this. When I say it's ok she believes me. I love you to the moon and back Moa!
So an emotional day, many tears but also a lot of joy for this amazing litter! I couldn't be happier for the results of Moa's last litter!

At home with us now we have:

5 males (one singlecrown, the others showquality)
3 females (showquality)
No kinked tails, extra white, ridgeless or other fault seen so far. The stillborn boy was showquality and I couldn't find any DS.)

As you probably can guess, I have plenty of photos of the puppies. But you will have to wait for them. Now it is time for us all to rest!
