This past Sunday a group of Kadamodogs and their owner met up with Marita Teräs for a lovely day in the woods learing more about Search and report (there is probably another correct term for this in english, this is just straight of translation.) 
I myself was not able to participate due to the puppies at home but I have recieved lots of photos and reports from the day, so thank you all for that!
I hope you all enjoyed it and will continue to practise at home. Thank you Marita for arranging this day!

Today Hailey and the siblings from the Michael Jackson-litter (Segra x Spencer) turn 9 months old and become juniors. Looking forward to spring and summertime and starting to enter some shows, do some bloodtracking and continue training obedience with this talented and sweet little girl. 

The puppies are now 1 week old and I have taken new individual headshots of them. They have been checked for DS and none has been found. Visit the Puppy Diary for the latest photos!

The puppies are growing and doing really well, so is Tiya. She is taking excellent care of them all and seems very happy to be a mother.

Today the puppies turn 2 days old and I have gone through all the photos I took yesterday. They are just absolutely adorable! I just can't see how they all just the day before fit together inside Tiya's belly!? They are doing very well, both Tiya and the puppies. The placenta's that did not come out during the delivery have now all come out so I hope the discharge will decrease now. Tiya is eating better and better and follows me on short walks outside. 
All the puppies has gained weigh, the first half a bit more than the once born in the afternoon/evening.

Yesterday on the 19th of February sweet Tiya finally gave birth to her puppies, on day 63 from the first mating. She did have 15 puppies in that big belly, so I did see the correct number on the X-ray. Tiya did an amazing job delivering them all within 13,5 hours. We got 9 males and 6 females. One smaller boy was stillborn unfortunately.

My sweet girl today on day 60 of her pregnancy ( I am counting from their first mating). She surprises me on how well she is doing. Good energy and likes to go on her walks, eats with great apetite. Tonight she was a bit more uncomfortable when trying to rest. Not easy to find a good way to sleep with that huge and hard ball of puppybelly. Some new photos of her in the Pregnancy & Puppy Diary. Do you think she will wait until the weekend or will the puppies arrive sooner?

Today I visited my workplace at the vetclinic with Tiya, and did X-rays of her belly. My guess of a large litter was confirmed! It is not that easy to really see them all clearly, because they are many they are on top of eachother and everywhere. But I would say that I think I can see 14-16 puppies! I have marked 15 heads  that I think are puppyheads on two different X-rays.
I had one litter of 15 puppies once before, but I think I was only sure of 12 on that X-ray, so they can always be hiding!

Tiya is today on day 49 and only two more weeks to go before duedate! She is still doing very well, eating as she should, resting indoors but enjoys her walks and has lots of energy still.
