I can't stop taking pictures of these beauties! I take too many so I don't have time to go through and edit them all!
But now I have made it through a few days photos and ready to share them with you. So below are mixed photos of the puppies 13-15 days old.
The puppies are now developing a lot each day. They are getting stronger and more steady walking on all four. They now pee and poo by themselves (in the beginning they do it only when mum Penny is cleaning them).
They are starting to react more to sounds and what they see. Their vision is not clear but they react more now and walks up when you lean into the pool, searching for contact. They will soon be ready to move out of the pool to the puppyroom.
I have already filled the camera with more photos so check back in a few days and hopefully I have more of them to share with you then!
The puppies are two weeks old today and I took new headshots of them. I love it when they are starting to open their eyes. so much more personality comes through. They are up walking on all four already but not very steady. But all healthy and strong!
I have finaly gone through all the photos I have taken these past three days and here are some of them for you to enjoy! The puppies are just beautiful and have now started to open their eyes. So tomorrow it is time for new individual photos and hopefuly then we will get some eyes looking back at us.
This weekend when I have been home I have cut the puppies claws for the first time. Started to get to sharp for poor mum Pennys skin. I also checked them for the second time for DS (dermoid sinus) and no one found!
Penny got an infection in her uterus after the birth and we went to the vetclinic on Friday and she is now on antibiotics. She is doing well and so is the puppies.
Enjoy the photos!
I am finally out of the hospital and had to take new better photos of them with my camera. So here are new individual photos of the puppies 9 days old.
The puppies turned 1 week yesterday and my sister Johanna helped me take new headshots of them all. They are gaining weight nicely and Penny is doing well too.
I was admitted to the hospital on Satuday due to fluid building up in my body and high bloodpressure. This has caused strain on my kidneys and heart and they are trying to figure out the reason behind it. It is really bad timing and hard to be away from the puppies but my husband is doing an amazing job and getting help from Penny's owner Malin, my family and friends.
I do hope to be able to come home soon! So if the updates are not as often or I don't respond quick to messages you know the reason!
Enough about that, below you can enjoy new photos of the puppies 1 week old.
The puppies are 1 day old today and had their first individual photoshoot. All of them has gained weight except for our tiny baby girl with her different faults. I knew when she was born that it will be hard to keep her alive, and I have been reading up on her issues today. The biggest concern is that there might be more problems within her body that we can't see. And to try a surgery for a cleft palate when her spine is crocked might not be the best idea. So I am afraid we will have to say goodbye to her...
Penny is a wonderful mother and everything is going great otherwise. The puppies are strong, feeding well and sleeping very content. Tomorrow I will do a first DS check so cross your fingers for that beeing clear!
On Monday evening Penny started to show signs that she was entering the openingstage. She was then on day 59 so a few days earlier than I expected. The night was ok, she was a bit restless but still taking it easy and resting a lot.
During Monday at lunch she had her first visible contractions. Less than 30 minutes later we got to meet the first puppy!

Pennys is being a wonderful mother, great instincts taking care of her babies from the very first second. All puppies are strong and nursing. Our little Ms White has a very unsure future ahead of her. I will see if there is possible to do anything for her. But for this very moment she is as strong as her siblings even though smaller, and I will see if we can give her a chance...
Some mixed photos below from their first day.
Yesterday I brought my camera with me during one of our walks in the woods. Penny is trotting a long not looking bothered at all by her big belly. She still has her beautiful stride and easy flowing movement!
Got some photos of her just looking pretty balancing on a big rock. We only have a week left now until we get to meet the once she is hiding in there.

Penny is on day 53 of her pregnancy and we went to the vetclinic for X-rays. We saw 12 puppies! It was not all that easy to count but I think me and vet are about right. So very much looking forward to meet them all within 10 days!
Penny has gained about 8 kg so definetely heavy to carry around!

Penny has now moved in with us. She has two weeks left until her puppies is expected to be born. I do think the puppies might be ready a couple of days earlier so we will be prepared from the middle of that week.
On Tuesday we are going for X-ray at the vetclinic to check how many puppies we are expecting.
