Today the puppies turned 8 weeks old and our first boy moved to his new family, Mr Black who will now be called "Lilleman". Tomorrow three more will move and two more during the weekend. So in a matter of days it will suddenly be a lot more empty, and quiet here! 
Ms Red is staying with us forever and Mr Purple until the right home showes up. So we will not be left compelety alone!

On Thursday the weather was really nice and the puppies got to spend some qualitytime outdoors and I had the camera with me outside. That was the first time that they got to play with roedeerhoofs, getting their interest in field/bloodtracking started!
It was very popular and they all played with them, chewed on them and pretty much chased anyone else who had one of the hoofs!
Since then they have been outside everyday, somedays just for a short playtime to rush off some of their energy. But today again for a few hours when it was warm and sunny.
Some of the kids in the neighbourhood has stopped by to look at the puppies too. So these puppies will surely be used to the sounds of kids!

Oh wow... 7 weeks old already and just one more week until these little once starts to move to their new homes! Yesterday was a warm and sunny day so the puppies got to spend about 3 hours outside, playing, napping and eating outside.

The puppies are 6,5 weeks old and doing what puppies do best, Eat, Sleep and PLAY! Today we had a bit warmer temperature and some sunshine so we spend an hour outside in the garden.

The puppies are 6 weeks old today and we have had a nice day outdoors. The sun was shining earlier so they got to play outside again which they love! They are almost to curios because they crawl under the fence into my neighbours yard, so tomorrow I will have to put up extra fence to keep them all in!
It was time for their weekly wigh in aswell and oh my they are getting heavy! They also got dewormed again today, they did well even though they don't like the taste of the medicine. 
I took new stacks of them today, unfortunately I did not have my helper Elin today, so I only made stacked photos. You can see their adorable faces on the mixed photos from earlier in the week if you are curious about them.
The puppies have now been registred in the Swedish Kennelclub, SKK and gotten their official names as you can see below.

Today the puppies got to go outside for the very first time! We had a few degrees above 0 and the sun was out, so I thought that now it was time. And they loved it. I thought they would be a bit careful and even scared, but oh no. They checked out the whole garden, chewed on sticks, ate grass and played.
Let's home for more nice days like this! Tomorrow the puppies are 6 weeks old and their mum Kayla have her 3rd Birthday! We will try to find a good way to celebrate them all!

The puppies are now only a couple of days away from turning 6 weeks old. We have had an eventful week and not much time to update the blog. But at least now I have some new photos for you!
The puppies has been spending their afternoons and evenings downstairs in our kitchen/diningroom. It means more space and a lot of new sounds. They are loving it! They play like crazy, fall asleep, wake up and play again.
They are very curious and brave exploring new things which I am happy to see. I now hope that we will have some decent weather from now on so that I can take them outside in the garden to get used to that aswell. I want it to be a positive experience so waiting for the right time, I hope with some sunshine!

Yesterday the puppies turned 5 weeks old and today my friend Elin came again to help me with a photoshoot. They were a bit sleepy so the headshots are not great on anyone of them, but still, in my eyes they are all adorable.

The days just rush by now... I haven't had time to sit down and go trough the last days pictures until now. Since my last update the puppies has gotten a bath, their claws cut, had puppybyers visiting and much more. They are keeping me and their mum Kayla very busy!

Finally some new puppyphotos for you! My computer and I have not been friends so I have had trouble emptying my camera these past few days. But now, I hope things will work fine again!
The puppies are as you know now 4 weeks old and we have had our first puppybyers here today for a visit. 
Nice for the puppies to get some new people to socialize with, and new toes to chew on!

The precious bunch is now 4 weeks old! Halftime! My friend Elin came and helped me take new photos of them yesterday (3 weeks and 6 days old) so below you can see the results. 
I tried to put them on the scale today but they were just not working with me. They now think I mean food or cuddles and just couldn't sit still... And I didn't have the patient with it...
But they have all gained weight and is growing steadily so I am not that bothered. 
The puppies have enjoyed some playtime in the room next to theirs today, but those pictures are coming later. So until then, enjoy the new individual photos!

We have had a busy weekend but now finally some new puppyphotos! On Friday the puppies got dewormed and that was no problems at all, luckily they love their food so was easily distracted afterwards and swallowed it all.
On Saturday the puppies daddy Idde and his owners Malin and Daniel aswell as Kayla's owner Jennie came by and spend the afternoon and evening with us, appreciated by all!
On Sunday my breeder Anna Wright from Hamnudden visited with her two daughters and did a check up on all the puppies. No DS found and no other faults! Thank you Anna for coming!!

The puppies have really passed a milestone now in their development. They are now very social and finally it's those important weeks ahead of us, were I will do my best to give these little guys the best start in life! I will try not to get eaten by them and their tiny sharp puppyteeth as we go!

This weekend the puppies dad Idde and his owner came from Gothenburg to visit. It was great to see all of them again! We enjoyed some walks and acctually some sunshine aswell, and we had company of a couple of puppybyers on Saturday.
Kayla's owner Jennie also spend Saturday with us and we had a wonderful time. What can I say, around these puppies you can't be anything but happy!

Today the puppies turns 3 weeks old time for a photoshoot with them all. I usual make my first attempt to stack my puppies at this age. Not that I think you can really see much on how they will turn out, but because it is good practice for upcoming weeks photoshoots.
All the puppies did well and enjoyed their little feedingtime! Minced meat and yoghurt!

The puppies are 3 weeks old tomorrow, where does time go? They are just wonderful little puppies and are awake a little bit longer each time now, and more interested in eachother and me now. They listen to sounds and comes to say hi when I call them. 
They are loving their daily taste of minced meat, so far they are just getting a small bite once a day, but soon they will get it mixed with puppyfood and I will increase the times per day that I feed them. Kayla will still nurse them for a few more weeks though, her milk is still the best stuff for them!

The puppies are 18 days old today and they are all starting to get their tiny little babyteeth. So today I though it was time for them to get to taste some solid food, or well, not all that solid, minced meat all mixed up. What can I say, they all loved it! First time for them outside their puppybox except for when they have been weighed. 
They didn't seem that bothered, they were occupied with eating!

The puppies are 16 days old today and doing wonderful. They keep on developing everyday and it's wonderful to follow them. They become more real dogs and are so fun to watch. They have started to chew on eachother, still no teeth but they are on their way. Within a few days I plan to let them have their first taste of solid food. I promise to share pictures of that with you.

Today the puppies are two weeks old! We had an attempt of photoshoot earlier today. It is not all that easy now when they are either to sleepy to have their eyes open, or have to much energy to be still so that my camera can focus...

I love them.. I really love my puppies! Today they are 13 days old and tomorrow already 2 weeks. So tomorrow it is time to weigh them and take new individualphotos. I look forward to it since they have now all open their eyes and just look even more adorable. 
They now get around better without the help of Kayla, they can find eachother and her so less crying if one of them is all of a sudden by himself.
This means I had my first calm night last night and hopefully soon I can go back to sleeping in my own bed and leave Kayla alone with the puppies at night.
My daughter Ellen find the puppies fascinating to watch. She enjoys sitting their on my lap while I try to take photos, today she and Ms Red had a little chat after I had just cleaned the puppybox for them. So sweet!

The other video is of Yaya, the perfect nanny who is now allowed by Kayla (and me) to assist. She is desperately wanting a puppy to give her some attention and wakes up Mr Purple for this.

Today the puppies are 11 days old and they are all starting to open their eyes. They walk around on all four now, even though not very steady. 
It's wonderful to see them all becoming more and more real dogs! Below are some photos of them 9-11 days old.
I have also published a short video of them all up and about. Kayla just laid down with them which woke them all up and made them search for the milkbar!

The puppies are just adorable! Nothing else! They look cute ALL the TIME! Luckily I have things to do around the house otherwise I would most likely just sit and watch them all the time and not do anything else.
Tomorrow the puppies are 9 days old and it is about time to cut their tiny claws for the first time. They are so sharp and they must be scratching Kayla's poor skin when they eat. Within the next few days I am also expecting to start seeing some eyes opening. I always love that, they become so much more fun when they start to see eachother and start to interact with eachother.

The puppies are already 4 days old and growing steadily. They are all doing good and Kayla is an excellent mother. I do feel she is more relaxed now in her role. In the beginning she wanted to have all her puppies right next to her all the time. Now she is ok with them sleeping a little bit away from her and she goes up to eat sometimes and to go outside in the garden with my other dogs.
On Thursday we will have our next individual photoshoot, but until then I keep on taking photos of them sleeping in the puppybox. They are just so adorable and they are hard to resist!
I do look forward to them getting a little bit bigger so I can start to cuddle with them, but for now I leave that up to Kayla!

Today our puppies are already 2 days old. They are all, of course, gorgeous! Kayla is doing a good job being a very caring mother. Below are a bunch of photos of the puppies from the first 24 hours, some from them being just newborn but most photos from yesterday, when they were one day old. Enjoy!

Yesterday afternoon Kayla decided it was time for us to meet our precious G-litter. Kayla did an amazing job delivering her puppies, and she cares for them like she has done this a million times before! A true pro! 
All puppies are strong and seems healthy at this point. I have checked them all over once each and not found any kinked tails, DS or other faults. 
We have 8 puppies, 6 boys and 2 girls.

Today Kayla decided it was time to meet her puppies, and the delivery started this afternoon. She is not finished yet, but this is what we have so far:

She is resting and doing a wonderful job taking excellent care of her little once. More updates will come as she is finished!

Today Kayla is on day 55 of her pregnancy and we went to the vetclinic to take an X-ray of her belly so we could count on how many puppies she has hiding in there.
We saw 8 little wonders! Perfect number!
Kayla also got to stand on the scale and she has gained 10 kg in these past 8 weeks!
Now only 8 days left until her expected day of delivery, will she wait until then or will the puppies arrive sooner? Only time will tell!

Today Kayla is on day 54 of her pegnancy. She always keeps me company when I'm in the kitchen. I had a blanket on the floor this evening for my daughter Ellen, and Kayla of course wanted to lay there too. 
Such a sweet and gentle girl with our daughter, letting her pet her on her belly. Tomorrow the plan is to take her to the vet for a check up and X-ray, so we can see how many puppies she has hiding in there!

Kayla is today on day 51 and has moved in with us her in our house. The puppyroom got finished yesterday, with new paint on the walls, extra layer of plasticfloor and the puppybox made up with blankets and a soft dogbed.
Towels, clean blankets, puppycollars and more are all out and put into the room ready for the big day!
We enjoyed a short walk on the golfcourse this afternoon and even Kayla had some energy to play and run a little with her big belly! She is settling in fine and we will make sure she is comfortable these last 1-2 weeks before they puppies arrives.
