This weekend SEUCH DKUCH FINCH EECH SEJW-12 SEVCH Kadamo Rob Roy "Dexter" from the Drinks-litter (Dexter x Argos) entered the showring after a very long break making his debute in veteranclass. He did so well and was Best of Breed Veteran. Congratulations Tomas and Jonny!

SEVCH Kadamo Stanza "Nova" competed in bloodtracking with her owner Mimmi and they won the competition against dachshounds and other good trackingbreeds. Great job and congratulations!

RLDN NW1 Kadamo Let It Be "Saffran" from the IT-litter (Mira x Boy) competed with his owner Anneli in Nosework class 2 the other day. Out of 20 dogs he was the only dog to find all the 8 hidden smells! So he was winner of the total competition aswell as got his first class 2 diploma! Congratulations!

Two sisters from the Nissan-litter (Heera x Dexter) went bloodtracking this weekend. Kadamo Sentra "Luna" passed the aptitudetest and Kadamo Ariya "Leia" won her first 1st prize in openclass. Congratulations and well done Johanna and Victoria!

On Sunday it was time for another dogshow, International dog show in Eskilstuna judged by Harri Tast, Finland. He was probably the toughest judge I have ever shown for. Only half of the participating dogs received Excellent, not to mention championclass males with just one out of four got it... Luckily Maddox was one of them and he won the openclass with CQ and finished 3rd Best male. 
Kadamo Rule Like Mufasa "Hector" from the Lion King-litter (Mira x Colin) was one of the dogs that only recieved Good. And the critique was not bad, he just got scared of the judged who tried to count all his teeth and the situation got akward for him. So no placement for him this time.
I had Hailey with me for her second show and well she got very good. She behaved beautifully in the ring and outside and her critique was good. Only complaint was that she lacks in bodymass which is true, so happy with that.
At the show we also got the company of Kadamo Force of Nature "Penny" from the Oasis-litter (Tiya x Maddox) and her owner Malin who where there to practise in the environment for future shows.

SEVCH Kadamo Live Life Like Timon "Nacho" and his owner Linda won THe Swedish Ridgeback clubs championship in bloodtracking 2022. His sister SEVCH RLDN Kadamo Sarabi the Lionqueen "Rut" won the north districts final and finished four in this final. Nacho had won the east districts final earlier this summer and at that competition his older sister SEVCH Kadamo Comin' Home "Tiya" placed 2nd. Such a bunch of talented tracking dogs!

A late update from our last day at Sawo Show, International Show judged by Harri Lekhonen, Finland. Maddox won Openclass with EXC and CQ, Best male with CACIB! And he went all the way to Best of Breed!
Tiya EXC and second in Openclass with CQ but again no placement in Best Bitch. A little bit disapointed with Tiyas results but happy with Maddox so overall a good trip!
We had a nice stay in Finland with lots of quality time with my youngest daughters enjoying dogwalks, some swimming, camping, watching movies, walking around Helsinki and for the kids of coure the ferry ride was an adventure. Happy to be back home though!

On Sunday it was time for the 12th year in a row with Kadamo Mästerskapen in bloodtracking. This was the first year that I was not able to attend since I was in Finland at the dogshows. But I had my very dear friend and puppybuyer Olle help out taking care of everyone aswell as Lotta taken lots of wonderful photos of all the dogs during the day.
This years winner was young boy Kadamo Juke "Nelson" from the Nissan-litter (Heera x Dexter) who stood as winner aswell as starting openclass for the second time ever. His sister Kadamo Stanza "Nova" finished at 2nd place and she also took her third 1st prize in openclass making her Swedish Bloodtracking Champion! On 3rd place we had SEVCH Kadamo Live Life Like Timon "Nacho" who will also compete in SRRS SM final in bloodtracking next week!
Congratulations to everyone who recieved 1st prizes and great job all dogs and owners. I am so proud to have so many really talented trackingdogs and great owners!

On Friday another talented dog from the Nissan-litter (Heera x Dexter) passed his aptitudetest in bloodtracking, Kadamo Navara "Morris". Congratulations and well done Marie and Morris!

Second day at Sawo Show and today Nordic show judged by Anne Buvik, Norway. Maddox came second in Openclass with EXC and CQ and placed 5th Best male. 
Tiya did great winning the Openclass with EXC and CQ but unfortunately not placed in Best Bitch, and the CAC went to a Norwegian Champion bitch also outside placement. 
Still happy with the dogs performance and for behaving so well at the showground. Just resting in their cages and being calm and friendly. 
At the end of the day heavy rains came so I rushed the kids to the car before entering Best Bitch in rain with Tiya. Still so happy that my 5 year old daughters got these photos for me! They took about 3000 photos so at least some are ok! ;)
Now I do not have battery left in the camera for tomorrow though...

On Wednesday afternoon me and my two twindaughters took the ferry to Helsinki in Finland to attend three shows in Kuopio. Yesterday was spend travelling as well as seeing a couple of Colin's one year old puppies from kennel Werdanas. (Photos of them will come later!)
Today was National Dog Show day 1 in Sawo Shows, judge Paavo Mattila, Finland.
I showed Maddox in openclass which he won with EXC and CQ. He went to compete in Best male were he won! He won his finnish CAC making him New Finnish Champion! He finished BOS against the Best Bitch. 

Maddox critique:
Excellent male. Nice shape of head. Excellent neck, body and bone. Very good topline. Enough angulations front and rear. Good quality of coat and beautiful color. Good ridge. Beautiful outline when standing. Good flexible movement. Excellent performance.

I showed Tiya in Openclass aswell and she finished 2nd with CQ. Unfortunately no placement for us in Best bitch. 
Tiya's critique:
Beautiful bitch with very good movement. Good proportions. Nice shape of head and expression. Excellent neck, body, topline and rear. Nice ridge. Pleasing performance.

Very happy with our first day at the show! Getting Maddox championtitle which we hoped for! 
In the afternoon the dogs got to go swimming aswell as couple of walks in the woods. The weather has been warm today so they have been resting a lot aswell at our cabin. 
Tomorrow it is time for the second show!

Kadamo Ariya "Leia" from the Nissan-litter (Heera x Dexter) did her apitudetest in bloodtracking today which she passed with lovely comments from the judge. Such a talented litter so far! Congratulations and well done Victoria and Leia!
