On the evening before Christmas Segra started her heat, almost two months before we had expected. I have started up a little Pregnancy & Puppy Blog where you can from now on easily follow the latest updates about our planned Jungle Book-litter. 
If all goes as planned Segra will meet her Norwegian prince Khan sometime next week/weekend! Keep your fingers crossed for us!

We have had the most successful long weekend in Helsinki, Finland. This was the final showweekend for Colin this year and he ended it in grand style!

On Friday it was Helsinki Winner-17 judged by Saija Juutilainen and he did awesome! He won the juniorclass with Exc and CQ and won the tite Helsinki Junior Winner-17 (HeJW-17). In Best male he went all the way to te top placing as Best male with CAC and also the title Helsinki Winner-17 (HeW-17).
He finished BOS against the lovely championbitch who got BOB.

Day two was Nordic Winner-17, judged by Paula Heikkinen-Lehkonen and he yet again won the juniorclass with Exc, CQ and the title Nordic Junior Winner-17 (NORDJW-17.) In Best male he placed 6th with R-CAC with 4 championmales in the top.

Day three was Finnish Winner-17, judged by Francesco Cochetti, Italy and for the third day in a row he won the juniorclass with Exc, CQ and his fourth title this weekend, Finnish Junior Winner-17. He continued nicely and placed 3rd Best male with another CAC!

I want to say a big thank you to everyone around the ring who first of all, cheered and congratulated me, I appreciate your sportmanship! Also thank you to each and every person who stepped up and helped me keep an eye on my daughters while I was in the ring with Colin, especially Carina (who I travelled with), Elina and Hanna! Thank you also Nina for pictures on Friday!

Colin started his official showcareer in juniorclass at the end of July. Since then I have showed him 7 times in Sweden, 1 time in Norway and now 3 times in Finland (all in juniorclass).
Out of those 11 shows he has places as Best junior 9 times, all those 9 times with CQ, 8 of those he has been placed in Best Male, and he has 7 CAC (5 Swedish, 2 Finnish) aswell as 1 R-CAC in Finland. He has been Best of Breed twice and Best Opposite twice. He has won 5 Winner titles (NOJW-17 HEJW-17 HEW-17 NORDJW-17 FIJW-17). With only 5 swedish results counted for on "Guldhundslistan" he is currently placed as 6th Best RR male in Sweden for the year, and that with so few results! 
More than that he has also tracked well in the woods and completed his Swedish Bloodtracking Championtitle.
Now we are ready for a little break from the ring but already looking forward to next year with all that it might have in store for us!

On Saturday I took Colin and my three dauhters and droved towards Norway. We had company from Carina and her black and tan coonhound Kuura for our trip. We spend a nice evening in  a small house before driving the last bit to the show on Sunday morning. At the show I was very happy to see Colin's gorgoeus mother Dana (CH Amatonga's Duniwa Dana) again aswell as both his sisters Gaia and Gyro. 
I showed Colin in juniorclass and he is now 14,5 months old, so soon time to start competing against the big boys. He won the class with Exc and CQ, which also gave him the Norwegian Junior Winner-17 title to add to his name! 
In Best male class he was picked out in top 4 among many very high quality dogs and placed as 4th Best male!
We also showed in Amatonga's Breedersgroup with his mum and sisters and we placed 2nd. Very happy with our day and our results! 
Have to say a big thank you to Carina and Renate for helping me keep an eye on my three girls at the show! So happy that they all behaved well durin the long day and long drive!
Now we are back home recharging for our next show trip which will be the three day Winner shows in Helsinki, Finland in December. See you there?

Kadamo In It to Win It "Aslan" from the It-litter (Mira x Boy) made his showdebute in juniorclass in great style! He won the class with EXC and CQ and went all the way to 4th Best male!

His brother Kadamo I Did It Again "Gere" got VG and placed 4th in the class. I also showed Colin in juniorclass and he got his very first VG and finished 3rd. 
NOJW-16 Kadamo I Am High Quality "Clinton" recieved EXC and placed 3rd in the Openclass.

I am very happy to be able to announce the next planned litter at kennel Kadamo. For the very first time a dog from second generation Kadamodogs will be a proud mother here at the kennel. It's the daughter of my girl CIB SEUCH NUCH FINCH DKUCH SEVCH LP1 RLDN RLDF Kadamo Bringin' It Back "Mira", and her name is Kadamo Give me a High Five "Segra". Her sire is stunning boy NORDUCH SEVCH Mankoya's Incredible Idde by Gambo "Idde" and she was born in my High-litter.
The male I have chosen for her is from Norway and this will be his first litter too, gorgeous NUCH Ulwazi's Adjua Khan by Edelrood "Khan".  His dame comes from the extraordinary G-litter at kennel Kangelani in Norway,  NUCH SEUCH Kangelani's Gentle Loba by Clay "Loba". His sire is the proven studdog INTUCH NORDUCH DKUCH SEUCH NUCH FIUCH SEVCH Inanda Mellberg Edelrood " Rod".
This will be the first litter for both of them and I really do look forward to seeing there puppies! Segra is expected to come into heat in February 2018 and if everything goes as planned that means we will have puppies born in spring and ready to move to their new families in the summer!

Today Kadamo Brings It Back Again "Daisy"  from the It-litter (Mira x Boy) started in apitudetest in bloodtracking only 9 months old. She did an amazing job and got approved, and tracked in only 13 minutes. A huge congratulations to her owner and trainer Olle for such a great achievement with this young girl! Keep it up!

This weekend Kadamo Digging for Gold "Boba" from the Gold-litter (Kayla x Idde) and his owner Freda competed in Nosework. On Saturday the did really well and he got his first Diploma in NW1! So proud of this great team doing such great work together! Keep it up!

Yesterday handsome SEUCH NUCH DKUCH BISS-13 DKW-16 NORDW-16 Kadamo Johnny Walker "Loke" (from the Drinks-litter, Moa x Argos) was shown at the International Dogshow in Sundsvall. He finished first 2nd Best Championmale with CQ but in Best Male stepped up and became best male with another CACIB! Only one more country and CACIB needed now for his CIB title!

The IT-litter (Mira x Boy) is now 8,5 months old and becoming such gorgeous and lovely youngsters. I have had the priviligue to spend time with some of them the last month and then also taken new photos of them. To see the latest photos visit the It-litter photoalbum.

This weekend three boys from the It-litter showed off at puppyshows. Kadamo It Is My Time "Kaiser" won Best male with HP, Best of Breed and BIG-2!
Kadamo I Did It Again "Gere" was Best male with HP, Best of Breed and BIG-1 (did not wait for BIS-final) and brother Kadamo It Is All About Me "Ajax" was 2nd Best male!

This Saturday I arrenged Kadamo Championship in bloodtracking. Of course Colin got to track aswell (but outside the competition since that is only for dogs bred by me). 
He did a very good job and got his third 1st prize which makes him a Swedish Bloodtracking Champion! The first title for this handsome boy completed! His name is now SEVCH Amatonga's Golden Boy to Kadamo!

Today it was time for this years Kadamo Mästerskapen in Bloodtracking. We had a total of 13 dogs attending all in openclass. The judges was impressed with so many of them doing a very good job and gaining 1-st prizes! I think it was only 3 or 4 that didn't?
Winner this year was (for the third time) SEVCH SEUCH Kadamo Don't Mess with Texas "Charlie", 2nd place was SEVCH Kadamo Always Aiming High "Django" and 3rd place was SEVCH RLDN RLDF Kadamo You're the Boss "Bellman".
Huge congratulations to you all! Thank you all for coming and sharing this day with me in the woods! I hope to see even more of you attend next year!

Today it was time for the Rhodesian Ridgeback Speciality Show at Almare Stäket. Breed entry was 70 dogs and judge was Mr Karl-Erik Johansson, SWE.
First out was Kadamo Come and Get It "Shiro" for the very first time in showring with his owner in Petclass. He has an offset ridge. He did really well and got first place with HP and was Best of Breed in petclass! Congratulations and well done Malin!
After his two of his brothers was shown in puppyclass 6-9 months. Kadamo It Is My Time "Kaiser" won Best male with HP, and also beat the younger puppy and was Best male puppy overall and BOS against the best bitch puppy. Kadamo This is It "Nelson" was 2nd Best male puppy.
After them it was time for me and Colin in juniorclass. Colin recieved Excellent and won the class with CQ. In Openclass NOJW-16 Kadamo I Am High Quality "Clinton" was rewarded VG and finished 2nd in the class. 
In Championclass our stunner SEUCH NUCH DKUCH NORDW-16 DKW-16 BISS-13 Kadamo Johnny Walker "Loke" recieved Excellent and placed 2nd with CQ. 
Time for best male class and Colin and Loke were both picked out for the top placements, Colin finished 2nd with his 5th CAC (from 6 shows) and Loke finished 3rd Best male.
Since I had my whole family with me with our tiny kids I decided to head back home after the males. But in female classes we had our veteran SEUCH SEVCH Kadamo Lady in Red "Chanel" and she recieved Excellent and placed 3rd.

Gorgeous boy NOJW-16 Kadamo I Am High Quality "Clinton" was today shown at the International Dogshow in Högbo, breedentry 36 and judge Eerola Tapio, FIN.
Clinton won his class with Exc and CQ and was placed Best male with his second CAC and second CACIB. He also won over the bitch and became Best of breed!
His wonderful brother SEVCH Kadamo Always Aiming High "Django" finished as 3rd Best male with R-CACIB! Their halfsister Kadamo Brings It Back Again "Daisy" was 2nd Best bitchpuppy with HP. 
SEUCH SEVCH Kadamo Lady in Red "Chanel" was Best of Breed veteran! Well done everyone and congratulations!

Amatonga's Golden Boy to Kadamo "Colin" and Kadamo Give Me a High Five "Segra" both started their first openclass bloodtrack today. Both of them recieved a 1st prize! 

This Sunday it was time for the National Show in Stockholm, at a new showground called Stoxa. Great place with lots of room!
I had two puppies from my It-litter (Mira x Boy) there and both boys did well! Kadamo This is It "Nelson" won Best Male puppy with HP and Best of Breed puppy. His brother Kadamo It Is My Time "Kaiser" finished 2nd Best male puppy.
I also showed Colin in juniorclass and he recieved Excellent but for the first time "only" placed 3rd in the class without CQ. 

Some of the It-litter (Mira x Boy) puppies has been out in the showring the past few weekends and done so well! Kadamo Brings It Back Again "Daisy" was Best of Breed and BIS-1 puppy, Kadamo In It to Win It "Aslan" was Best of Breed puppy in Norrköping, Kadamo I Did It Again "Gere" was Best of Breed and BIG-1 puppy, Kadamo It Is My Time "Kaiser" was Best of Breed and BIG-1 puppy in Gävle and last but not least Kadamo Rumour Has It "Kili" was 2nd Best malepuppy with HP at the Ridgeback Speciality Show BISS-17.

Another fabolous day at the show is done! This time I went to the National Show in Eskilstuna only bringing Colin with me, and of course my babygirls Esther and Tove as cheerleaders! 
At the show we were first in the ring in juniorclass which Colin won with CQ! 
In intermediateclass Mira's son NOJW-16 Kadamo I Am High Quality "Clinton" recieved Excellent and finished 2nd. In Championclass our very gorgeous boy SEUCH NUCH DKUCH DKW-16 NORDW-16 BISS-13 Kadamo Johnny Walker "Loke" won against strong competition and he went all the way to 2nd Best Male, only beaten by my own Colin! So proud to have my two boys in the very top!
In bitchclasses we only had SEUCH SEVCH Kadamo Lady in Red "Chanel" in veteranclass which she won with Excellent and was Best of Breed Veteran.
Colin and I went back in to compete for Best of Breed and again, this was awarded to him! So I am more than happy and proud of what this young boy has already managed to achieve from only for shows! Two BOB, one BOS and 4 CAC!
We went back for the groupfinals but this time was not the judge favorite so no placement.

Today me and Colin met up with Sara and Segra (Kadamo Give Me a High Five) for the aptitudetest in bloodtracking. Both dogs did very well and both were approved. So now they can start to compete in openclass!

Just over a month ago I decided that despite just having my twins I would travel to the island of Gotland to participate in the two shows held there, one National and one International.
I decided to bring Mira who needed one more CACIB for her CIB-title and of course young Colin who has just started chasing his first CAC's. With us we also had Mira's daughter Segra (Kadamo Give Me a High Five) who will be the mother of Kadamo's next planned J-litter in 2018. The best part with bringing her was that I got her lovely owner Sara along with us as my right hand helping me take care of my little twin girls. I don't know what I would have done without you!
So a big thank you to you for your company on this trip, and a huge thank you to Tomas and Jonny for having us at your cabin, for your company, help to watch the babies and for great photos of all "my" dogs!
I am so extremely happy with Mira, winning Best Bitch both days and especially winning her 4th CACIB giving her the CIB (international champion) title! That she also topped it off with placing as BIG-2 was wonderful!
Her daughter Segra winning 1 CAC and 1 r-CAC, this being her third and fourth show ever, and from those four shows she has recieved Excellent every time, three classwins and two Best Bitch placements!
And then my little man Colin, his second and third show since he turned a junior and he kept it up like his first show, two more CAC giving him three CAC in three shows, one Best of Breed and one Best Opposite Sex!

Our handsome young prince Amatongas Golden Boy to Kadamo "Colin" is 11 months old now and I felt it was time for a new photoshoot. He is starting to look all grown up, but still with eyes like a puppy! Enjoy the photos!

On July 15th this precious lady celebrated her 11th birthday! Moa, whos real name is
CIB SEUCH NUCH FINCH EECH SEVCH NVCH RLDN RLDF LP1 SEVW-14 DKVW-16 NORDVW-16 Hamnuddens Fischer. So happy to share each day with this dignified lady. She is the sweetest thing and the most relaxed dog of my pack. I hope we have many more years left to enjoy her! Happy Birthday Moa!

Today it was time for the first show this summer for me. After being very pregnant with my twin daughters this spring and then giving birth to them June 1st we have had a little break from the ring. Now, with Colin being almost 11 months old and a junior it was time to show him off for real. 
The day started with five of my puppies from the It-litter (Mira x Boy) showing in puppyclass. Best Male was Kadamo It Is My Time "Kaiser" with HP,  2nd was Kadamo This is It "Nelson" also with HP, 3rd was Kadamo Rumour Has It "Kili" and 4th was Kadamo Just Do It "Bruno". I showed their sister Kadamo Can You Handle It "Fröya" and she was Best Bitch with HP and also Best of Breed against brother Kaiser who was BOS. 
Then it was time for Colin to make his official showdebute. He won the Juniorclass with CQ and went all the way to Best Male winning his first CAC! Unfortunately to young to win the CACIB, but that went to handsome SEUCH NUCH DKUCH DKW-16 NORDW-16 BISS-13 Kadamo Johnny Walker "Loke" who won the Championclass and placed as 2nd Best Male!
In intermediateclass we had NOJW-16 Kadamo I Am High Quality "Clinton" got Excellent and placed 3rd. In Workingclass Kadamo Nothing But Gold "Argos" got Excellent and placed 1st.
In Championclass as I said earlier Loke won and his brother SEUCH FINCH DKUCH SEJW-12 Kadamo Rob Roy "Dexter" recieved Excellent too. 
In bitchclasses I showed Kadamo Give Me a High Five "Segra" in intermediateclass, this was her second show ever and she got Excellent and placed 3rd. 
Then it was time for Koya to make her debute in Championclass amongst strong competition. She got Excellent and placed 3rd with CQ and also finished 3rd Best Bitch! 
In Veteranclass SEUCH SEVCH Kadamo Lady in Red "Chanel" got Excellent and placed 2nd.

This evening Kadamo This is It "Nelson" from the It-litter (Mira x Boy) went to a  puppyshow. He was placed as Best male with HP, Best of Breed and also BIG-1. 
They did  not  wait for the finals because they started so late at night.

A few days ago Kadamo It is My Time "Kaiser" from my It-litter (Mira x Boy) attended a puppyshow in Möklinta. He was Best male with HP, Best of Breed and BIG-1 with a nice and promising critique from the judge.

Today Kadamo Through Highs and Lows "Freke" went to the woods for some bloodtracking, and he did well with an approved aptitudetest! Now he can start to compete in openclass and work for his championtitle!

Last Sunday I had two of my It-litter (Mira x Boy) boys attending their very first dogshow.  It was Kadamo This is It "Nelson" and Kadamo It is My Time "Kaiser" now about 4,5 months old.
They both recieved very promising words from the judge, who today prefered Kaiser who won Best Male, Best of Breed, BIG-1 and went all the way to Best in Show-4!
Congratulations to you both for great a great debute! 

This past Saturday I had a get together with my It-litter (Mira x Boy) who is now just over 4 months old. We started the day with them all getting to try bloodtracking for the first time. All the puppies were more than happy to play, chase and carry their deerhoofs. I think all of them with practise during the summer will become great trackingdogs!
While we waited for the tracks to rest we had a little showpractise, so these lovely babies can go to some puppyshows this summer.

Mira's gorgeous son NOJW-16 Kadamo I Am High Quality "Clinton" from the HIGH-litter (Mira x Idde) was today shown at the International Show in Lidköping, judge Patrik Cederlöf, SWE. 
He won the intermediateclass with Exc and CQ and after that went all the way to Best Male with his first CAC and CACIB! 
He later placed BOS against the gorgeous Best Bitch. My biggest congratulations to his owner/handler Petra! So well deserved and I can't wait to see what he can accomplish in the future when he has grown even more into this body!

Yesterday it was time for the National show in Västerås, breed entry 50+ and judge Birte Scheel, Denmark. In intermediateclass we had brothers SEVCH Kadamo Always Aiming High "Django" and NOJW-16 Kadamo I Am High Quality "Clinton". Clinton won the class with Excellent and Django finished 2nd with Very good. A strict judge today so now CQ (and a lot of VG..)
In Championclass we had lovely SEUCH NUCH DKUCH DKW-16 NORDW-16 Kadamo Johnny Walker "Loke" and he finished nicely 4th and also 4th Best Male.
I showed SEVCH RLDN NOJW-15 Kadamo I'm In it for the Gold "Koya" for the second time this year and also her second time in Openclass. I was so excited when she finished as classwinner with Excellent and CQ. We were really there to compete for her last needed CAC to complete her first championtitles, so this was the best start!
In Veteranclass SEUCH SEVCH Kadamo Lady in Red "Chanel" made her debut and she finished 2nd with Excellent.
Time for Best Bitch and Koya was picked out together with the juniorclasswinner and the top two championbitches, where the winner was not Swedish Champion yet... so we were three wanting the CAC... Nervous to say the least!
But my princess she did it! She took Best bitch winning her 10th Swedish CAC! Since she has now turned 2 years that meant that she became Swedish Champion! Since she also had CAC in both Norway and Finland she also completed the Norwegian and Finnish Championtitle!
This was our last show before it is time for me to take it more slow since I am pregnant with twins expected for June. So I am so happy that we got this result before our little break from the showring!
I had little Amatonga's Golden Boy to Kadamo "Colin" with me and showed him in puppyclass. He got to compete against his brother Yoshi and today Colin was the judges favourite and he was placed as Best male puppy with HP. We got to compete against the Best Bitch puppy and Colin went all the way to Best of Breed puppy! 
He had a tough day with Koya being in heat and him pretty much this day realising how much "fun" that is... So concidering that he did a great job even being able to stand or run in the ring!
Next time he will enter the ring it will be as a junior!

Today "Boba" from the Gold-litter (Kayla x Idde) finished his RLDN-title by gaining 94 out of 100 points at todays rallyobedience competition. We send a big congratualtion hug to him and his owner Freda for this great achievement! Boba can now call himself RLDN Kadamo Digging for Gold!

The puppies in the It-litter (Mira x Boya) has now turned 12 weeks old and they are all doing very well in their new families. We have had two puppyclasses, one two weeks ago and one today and they are making great process with their owners. 
I am happy to have so many of them showing up and I hope that we will have all 12 puppies here with their owners next time!

Today it was time for the first show of the year for us at Kadamo. Judge was Mr Åke Cronander, Sweden and breedentry was 40.
I started off showing Colin (Amatonga's Golden Boy to Kadamo) in puppyclass, and he finished nicely Best of Breed puppy.
In intermediateclass I showed Mira's son Django (SEVCH Kadamo Always Aiming High) and he won the class with Exc and CQ.
In workingclass Argos (Kadamo Nothing But Gold) placed 2nd with Exc. In Openclass Arrax (Kadamo Fire it Up) only recived Good.
In Championclass we had brothers Loke (SEUCH NUCH DKUCH NORDW-16 DKW-16 Kadamo Johnny Walker) and Dexter (SEUCH FINCH DKUCH EECH SEJW-12 Kadamo Rob Roy) both recieving Exc placing 2nd and 3rd in the class with CQ.
In Best male only Django was picked out for placement and finished nicely 4th Best Male, his first time in intermediateclass.

Time for the girls and I had Koya making her debut in Openclass, and her very first show since she turned 2 years old. Of course I was really hoping for the CAC to make her Swedish, Norwegian, Finish and Nordic Champion, but today we fell on the finishline.
Koya did win the openclass with CQ but placed 3rd Best Bitch with R-CAC. I got to show Yaya's daughter Tilly (SEUCH FINCH SEVCH Kadamo Thinking of Tilley) in Championclass which she won with CQ and she later ended up just before Koya, as 2nd Best Bitch with R-CACIB.
I entered our Breedersgroup with Loke, Koya, Django and Tilly and we were rewarded 1st place with HP.
(I did not stay for the finals with Colin or the group.)
Happy with a lovely day around the ring with my extended family, all the dogs and nice results! See you all in Västerås!

Kadamo Digging for Gold "Boba" has two weekends in row competed in Nosework, the so called aptitudetest, or first smellingtest for Eucalypthys and Bay leaf. He passed both his tests! 
Great job and congratulations to him and his owner Freda!

Today it was time for Colin to enter the showring for the very first time, now almost 6 months old. I decided to go to this inofficial for him as practise before taking him to bigger showgrounds, but I don't think I needed to have worried about that. He was really cool in this very crowded and noisy environment. Happy to see both people and dogs, but could still calm down and relax before it was our turn. 
In the ring he behaved very well, wagging tail and doing what I asked of him. He won Best male puppy and was Best of Breed puppy. After that he won Best in Group-1 but we decided to go home after that. It would have been several hours of waiting for the Best in Show finals and with puppies at home and people wanting to come to visit them we rather spend our afternoon at home then at the show.
I am very happy with his debute, next show is his first big one, the International Show in Strängnäs at the middle of March. See you there!

I have had a couple of visits lately from some of my now bigger puppies. First it was Kadamo Give Me a High Five "Segra" (who is the older halfsister of the puppies we have at home at the moment). Then today we had a visit from Kadamo I'm on Fire "Izor" and his owners. 
Of course I had to get some new photos of these two lovely dogs, unfortunately bad weather today but better last week when Segra was here.

Today I have finally updated the Puppy Diary with a big bunch of photos of our gorgeous puppies that is now 4,5 weeks old. Enjoy!

Our puppies are now 4 weeks old and just looking more adorable each day that passes! They are getting a little bit wilder and teeth a bit sharper every day too...

Our puppies are now 13 days old and they have all opened their eyes. So amazing to see and get to know these small personalities. We have a few escapeartists who keeps on climbing onto my bed next to they puppybox... So we do have a few puppies already used so sleeping in bed ;)

Finally Mira and Idde's puppies in the High-litter is now all X-rayed! I am so happy and proud to share these great results with you! Makes me hope that Mira's young puppies that we have here at home now will get the same excellent results when it is their turn to be X-rayed in a 1-1,5 years!
Conrgatulations to all the owners and of course to daddy Idde and his owner! So happy with this healthy, friendly, happy and gorgeous litter!
