GUESS WHAT!

I have put up some new pictures! Some mixed once of our 12 darlings and mummy Fendi HERE.

No other news at this stage. All the puppies are growing steadily, some more than others... (no names mentioned but cucumbers.... oranges...) ;o)
They are making their way around the puppybox in top speed and I have now doubt these little once will start walking in record time!
Fendi is being a great mum and we can see her getting better each day, she is more carefully when moving around in the puppybox and she is cleaning up the puppies very well.
She is also VERY happy to be able to eat more again! The last weeks of her pregnancy was hard on her since she has the biggest apetite ever but then didn't have any room in her belly for it! But she is making up for that now by eating every single piece we are giving her.

INDIVIDUAL PICTURES!

Headshots and ridgeshots of all puppies taken at 1 day of age HERE. All puppies has now been checked thoroughly for dermoid sinus by Sonja Nilsson from Kennel Roseridge and they are all clear! Such a relief!

MORE PICTURES!

Check out the new Puppypage and some new mixed pictures of the darlings taken today HERE.

Today they have been checked for sinus by Anna from Hamnuddens Kennel. No sinus was found. They will all be checked again soon.
The puppies are lovely at this stage. A bit loud around food time but other than that pretty quiet. Fendi is doing a gret job laying in the puppybox all the time with her babies. She is taking great care of them and is a very sweet and loving mummy.
The other dogs here are very relaxed around her and the puppies. They keep their distance not to disturb Fendi but they are shwoing an interest in them. I bet Yaya will be happy when they get a little bit bigger so she can play with them!

KADAMO's FIRST LITTER IS BORN!

Fendi has now given birth to 12 beautiful puppies, 6 boys and 6 girls. They all have correct ridges, black nosed, lovely dark colours, white marks on chest and some on toes. No sinus found so far. One girl and one boy has a small kink in the tip of their tale. No other faults discovered at this point.
Fendi has done an amazing job and both her and the puppies are doing very well. More pictures and info coming tomorrow!

WILSON X-RAYED HIPS A/A AND ELBOWS 0/0!
 

Wilson has now been X-rayed hips and elbows and it all looked perfect! So that is a relief and one thing less to worry about in these time of waiting/stressing!
Check out the Blog of us all waiting... and waiting... and waiting... We just want Fendi to start now and get this long wait over with!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY WILSON 1 YEAR OLD TODAY!


Wilson our little wild one turns 1 year old today! This year has really gone by fast and he is still as sweet as he was when he arrived into our family almost a year ago! Maybe a little bit bigger and a little bit wilder... ;o)
He has developed just as nicely as we could hope for and I have a lot of faith in this young boy for the future.

PUPPIES GRANDDAD DEMPSEY 10 YEARS OLD!
Dempsey (Zeptepi Maserati) at his 10th Birthday!
A few days ago I recieved these new photos of my future puppies Granddad Dempsey. He is Bosco's sire and just celebrated his 10th Birthday! He was the reason why I started to look at Bosco in the first place. Bosco has a lot of his looks from his handsome Dad.
I was amazed to see what great condition he is still in! No grey hairs in sight! For more pictures of Dempsey check out his own page HERE.

KADAMO PUPPIES IN THE MAKING!

Three of Fendi's and Bosco's future puppies!

Today we had the opportunity to do an early ultrasound on Fendi. We got a new ultrasound machine at work and the vets needed a few dogs to try it out on. So of course they got to borrow Fendi!
She is only on day 18 so when I say we were nervous before the ultrasound I am being very modest! I felt sick all day until we finally stood there! I was so afraid it would be to soon to see anything.. But there they were! The small little embryos!
It was such a relief to know that they were in there! So now you little guys take your time and we will see you out here in about 6 weeks!

NOW IT´S TIME FOR MATING!

Tomorrow is the D-Day! We are going to see Bosco! Vegas changed his mood around lunchtime today and his feelings for his daughter was a bit stronger than parental... So just as her other seasons he was a good signal that Fendi is getting ready. We took a bloodsample which showed that she was ovulating so tomorrow we are driving to Örebro!
So at the moment the "big girls" (Fendi and Moa) are staying with me and the boys (Vegas and Dando) are with Yaya at Carina and Micke.
The evening at my place has been very loving... sisterly love... and at Carina and Micke's there has been a lot of begging for food... of course not at all from my two dogs... ;o)

FENDI IS IN HEAT! THE COUNTDOWN HAS STARTED!
Fendi has started her heat so hopefully she will be going on dates with handsome Bosco in a couple of weeks! Fendi is doing so well after her surgery and has been cleared by a veterinarian to be mated. It has now been four weeks since her surgery and she is allowed to play and go for long walks again.

She is back to her normal self eating, begging, stealing food and enjoying the company of daddy Vegas and walks in the woods. She hasn't had any complications what so ever and healed extremely fast and well.

Fendi's health is our top consern and it feelt very good that within a week after surgery she was feeling so well again. It was also very important for us to hear from a veterinarian that she was ok to be mated before we went trough with this, so having done that we are all very excited for this journey to begin!

We will make sure she stays in great shape before and after the mating to make sure she is in top condition in time for the (hopefully) puppies arrival in about 2 ½-3 months time.
