MORE SHOWRESULTS!

Today it was time for us girls to run in the ring again! Tha rain was pooring down until it was time for Openclass bitches. Then it stopped and didn't start again until we were heading home.
Fendi won the openclass and was the only one rewarded CQ and Moa was 3rd. Fendi and Carina then finished 4th Best Bitch! Great job girls! You looked great!
This is Fendi's 4th Best Bitch placement in a row! You go girls, I promise those last two CC's will come soon!
I didn't bring my camera along today so only a mobilephone picture of Carina and Fendi below.

SHOWRESULTS!

Today me and Carina took our girls Fendi and Moa and drove to Norrköping. They both entered the Openclass and Fendi finished 2nd with CQ and Moa as 3rd.
Fendi and mum Carina then went all the way to 3rd Best Bitch! Congratulations to you! Just as the ridgebacks was finished the rain started pooring down so we quickly packed our things and ran to my car. We were soaked when we got there but at least we got ourselves a good laugh!

LURE COURSING!

Moa my darling absolutely loves her new activity. She goes nuts just as we are getting closer to the field... And I can barely hold her when we are watching the other dogs run...
So, I have now made a new page called Lure coursing on Moa's own page. There you can see more pictures of Moa running.

Johanna and Wilson came to watch the lure coursing yesterday, and I took the opportunity to try to take new stacks of the babies, with different results... For the new pictures check out Yaya's and Wilson's photoalbums.

DANDO 6th BEST OBEDIENCE-RIDGEBACK 2007!

During 2007 Dando was rewarded with three 1st prizes in Obedienceclass 1 and completed his LP 1 title in grand style. (Lydnadsdiplom 1) His results during the year made him ranked as the 6th Best Obediencedog during 2007!
I am really proud of my boy for this achievment!
Since I wasn't able to attend when the Top Ten dogs was awarded their prizes Dando got his in the mail last week.

We have now rested from the competitive obedience for a while and my bad nerves has started to forget how awful I think competing is... so this fall we will try start training for Obedienceclass 2!
So who knows, maybe you will see us back out there competing in a few years! ;o)

I also want to give some credit to Moa who is currently at 12th place on the Swedish Guldhundslista 2008 after her great weekend in Tvååker in July.

WILSON 4 ½ MONTHS OLD!
Wilsons photoalbum is now updated with a new stack and a couple of pictures of h??????U??is movements. He is growing alot and is now looking like a big baby... Everything is a couple of sizes to big and needs to be grown into...
It was clear that we hadn't stacked him for a while because all he wanted to do was run and play... Therefor the funny face on the stacked picture and more movement pictures instead...!

Sorry that I haven't updated with more pictures yet.. shame on me... But I've had some trouble with my pictureprogram on the computer but this should be sorted tomorrow. So one new picture of the Birthdaygirl in her new outfit will have to do until then!

We have had an amazing long weekend on the westcoast with two shows two days in a row. Moa shined and proved herself high over my expectations!

WELCOME TO SWEDEN YAYA!
Our little" Australian/Finnish" girl is finally here! It feels a little bit unreal that after this long time finally have her here! It's now over a year ago that I found her handsome sire Kimba and fell in love. Looking back at it I couldn't dream about having one of his gorgeous daughters as my own, but now I do!
I want to say a big THANK you to Anne Sassi at Kennel Tarujen for trusting me with this special little girl! I will try to make you proud!

AND... the contract for my new apartment is now signed! So we are moving to a bigger place by the end of summer!!

Tonight after work I met my parents and Johanna and went to look at a apartment, so keep your fingers crossed that I will get it! It's 65 m2 and has it's own outdoor area... So that would be nice for both me and the dogs!

MEET OUR BABYGIRL YAYA!


Here she is! Our new familymember Tarujen Uyaya Kadamo, also known as Yaya. I have had the best weekend in Finland with Anne, Kari, their friend Heidi and all their dogs and puppies. Thank you for everything!
The puppies are now six weeks old and they were all goregous, very curious, forward and cuddly. In two weeks they turn 8 weeks old and Yaya will be coming over here! I can hardly wait!
Also thank you to Natalia, Maria and Michele for joining me and making the hours on the ferry so much fun! I won't eat a thing for days now... ;o)

HAPPY MIDSUMMER!

In a few hours I am getting on the ferry to go to Finland. I have three friends with me and we will be celebrating midsummer together, but most importantly, tomorrow we are going to kennel Tarujen to meet the whole U-litter, and my little girl!
Dando and Moa was picked up by my family yesterday and are spending another weekend in Småland with them and of course little Wilson.

WILSONS FIRST SHOWPRACTICE!
Today I drove with Carina and Fendi to Solna in the evening and met up with Johanna and Wilson. Me and Wilson attended his first real showpractice for handler Maria Kirkegaard. Wilson has never had a chain or showlead on, or ran next to me, or stood still next to other dogs so I think he behaved beautifully!
Except for what he did to my poor fingers that now looks more like minced meat... What I am willing to sacrifice for the dogs... ;o)

WEEKEND IN SMÅLAND!

We have spend the weekend at our house in Småland. Plenty of pictures in the Blogg and also Moa's and Dando's photoalbums are updated.

I also want to congratulate Carina and Moa's sister Fendi who became 4th Best Bitch in Avesta this weekend! Keep it up!

WILSON THE WILD ONE!

This past weekend Wilson stayed with us Saturday until Sunday. He is adorable and he and Moa get along great. I think Wilson consider Moa to be his best friend! They playfight all the time and when Wilson gets too wild Moa nicely tells him to calm down.
With Dando he knows that he isn't allowed to play rough. But that doesn't stop him from trying from time to time!

When I registered my Kennel name Kadamo I decided to build a new homepage. I wanted a page built just the way I wanted it. And here it is!
