| VARBERG September 2010 |
| On Friday
afternoon when I finished work me and the dogs got in my car and drove all
the way to Galtabäck south of Varberg on the Swedish westcoast. It
was a long drive but it went well and I arrived at our cottage before midnight.
After settling in I got to bed for and had a nice lay in on Saturday morning.
I started the day with a walk around the house then me and the dogs headed to the woods. What I love the most about this area is the "Bokskog". A special kind of tree that grows in the south parts of Sweden. So a nice walk before I spend a few hours shopping in Ullared! |

After my qualitytime shopping the dogs needed some more exercise. So I was happy to find some sandhills were they could play and of course do some hill climbing! With some tasty trets it was easy to get them to run up to me, but it was harder to get them to go back down if I didn't go with them with the treats... Which meant that I got some exercise aswell walking up and down the hills! |

On Sunday I had another lay in before packing up, cleaning and a final walk on the beach before getting back into the car for some more driving. This time we drove towards Floda outside Gothenburg for some fieldtracking with Yaya. At the start of the track it was two kids playing right in the track... I thought this would screw everything up but unbeliveable Yaya just took on the track and followed it straight pass them and kept on going! We also met two other people out searching for mushrooms. But luckily Yaya didn't care about them either and just continued to the end of the track! This great tracking gave her yet another 1st prize and also Honours Prize! Very proud of my little girl! |

| After out
tracking we headed towards Gothenburg for a very nice afternoon visiting
some perhaps future puppybyers. Thank you for a great afternoon and the
sugar I got! ;o) After this I headed towards Josefine, Fredrik, Pixie and Elvis place also outside of Gothenburg. When I arrived I went for a short walk with the dogs and after that it was chilling time for the rest of the evening. The dogs got along great and so did we the people! An amazingly tasty lasagna (all thanks to that wonderfully chopped onion and the chopped up minced meat...) and a somewhat weird movie later I fell asleep with all three dogs next to me in the bed and slept like a baby until my alarm woke me up in the morning. THANK you to the best norrlänning ever Josefine and Fredrik for letting me stay with you and disturb your Sunday! Next time I am picking the movie! So after waking up me and the dogs got back in the car and drove towards Väne-Ryr and another track for Yaya. Today the wind was very very strong and I could tell it was difficult for her to stay on the track. But she did well and worked excellently the whole time with resulted in yet another 1st prize! This was her 14th Openclass track (ever, not this year...) and she has gotten nothing but 1st prizes! Everytime! And some of the times also Honoursprize! That's a good record! After the tracking me and the dogs went for a nice long walk in the cold but now sunny weather before getting back into the car to drive back home. This was such a great weekend in so many ways and I am happy to have another little trip planned soon! |
