STILL WALKING IN THE WOODS!

Even though our house are filled with puppies (and the smell that they bring with them... ;o) ) my other dogs is not getting forgotten. We go to the woods once a day for some time to play.
Yesterday we got to enjoy the company of Micke and Vegas. The dogs had a blast running around in the woods and on the fields and was very tired and saticfied when we got back home.

The puppies are growing by the minute! They are closing in on 1 kilo already so Fendi's milk seems to be the good stuff! Tomorrow they turn 1 week old already! The time really seems to fly and 7 weeks doesn't at all feel like enough time with these babies!
So we try to enjoy every second with these guys and that we do, enjoy it I mean! The smell of puppy poo just disappears when you sit and watch these darlings move around, sleep or eat. They are just adorable whatever they do!

PUPPY TIMES AT KADAMO!

The dogs has adjusted to have the house full of puppies. Dando doesn't seem to care at all, he acts like he doesn't see them, just living his normal life.
Moa is being very gentle and reading Fendi before coming up close. She is interested but doesn't seem to be to bothered.
Yaya seems to already love the little once. She loves to just stand by the puppypen and watch the puppies crawling around in there. When I am weighing them or sitting by the pen she is always there to watch.

WAITING WAITING AND WAITING!

Today Fendi is on day 58 and her temperature has started to move down. She has been arranging her puppybox moving around blankets and so on. So we are expecting things to start happening within the next couple of days. At this stage it doesn't feel likely that she will wait until she is on day 63 which is on Sunday. So, keep your fingers crossed and check back in here soon!

Wilson's X-ray results came back early this morning. And it all looked perfect! Hips A/A and Elbows 0/0! Congratulations Johanna!

Everything is now prepared... so all we can do is wait...

And wait...

And wait some more...

WALKING WITH THE HAMNUDDEN-CREW!

Both Saturday and Sunday morning we have met up with a group of Hamnuddens dogs for walks in the woods. Today we had 11 dogs with us and we where four people. That meant about three dogs each. Dogs there was Leia (Evergraces Gorgeous Princess Leia, mum to Dando, grandma to Moa), Isola (Rex Ventors Isola, mum to Moa), Vegas (Hamnuddens De Stijl af Argos, Moa's dad, Dando's brother), Dando, Moa, Caesar (Hamnuddens Fellow Caesar, Moa's brother), Milou (Hamnuddens Folina, Moa's sister), Lexi (Hamnuddens Elexi), Rio (Hamnuddens Gario), Wilson and Yaya.
The dogs all got along great and had a very good time playing together. Thank you all for two nice days!

Some pictures of Moa and Fendi' very handsome brother Caesar can be found HERE.

Fendi is doing well but doesn't eat all that much. Her milkbar is open so she is feeling very ready to start whelping any day this week. We are taking her temperature often but no signs for a drop in that yet.
She does sleep a lot saving her energy for what is to come. A new picture of Fendi and her huge belly HERE.

TRACKING, WALKING AND BIG BELLYS!

Today I had the day off work and for once in a very long time it wasn't to much snow on the ground. So Johanna and I decided to take the dogs out and do some tracking.
We met up in the morning and laid the tracks. Moa and Dando got to go a peopletrack each and the youngsters got to do fieldtracking. We went for a little walk while the tracks rested and Yaya found an old roedeer head in the woods... This I moved high up into a tree...

Dando and Moa got to go their tracks after about an hour and they both did amazingly well. They haven't been tracking since fall and they were so eager and focused.

After this I drove home and rested for a while with some cuddling time with Fendi and her big belly. I can sit forever with my hand on her belly and feel all the puppies move around. Which they do! I don't think she will keep those babies in her belly until next week. I expect them to pop out sometime during next week. And if they don't she will burst!
Fendi also got to meet the families "oldie" close up today, my guinea pig Cewin who is 7 years and 7 months old. She was so gentle with him just sniffing his ears. Cutie!

In the afternoon I drove back to the woods and met Johanna again. Both Yaya and Wilson got to walk their tracks and did a very good job. I was suprised to see Yaya so anxious to go since she hasn't done a track since the fall, and then never this long or difficult. She showed such great potential!

After the tracks I drove to a different woods for an afternoon walk with our friends Liselott and Wesley. It was nice to see how happy the dogs got when I said who we were going to see! Dando LOVES Wesley!
Thank you for the nice company in the could (but sunny) afternoon!

TRAINING AND CHILLING!

On Friday after work I met up with Johanna and Wilson for some obedience training. We have been trying to do that about once a week and the dogs are improving. Especially Wilson who is a wild young boy has started to calm down and consentrate more.

Our livingroom has now been transformed into one big doggy area. Of course all the dogs has checked out the puppypen and it has been cleared as OK!
Thank you a MILLION to my Dad for helping me build it! You are the best as always!

This weekend Carina and Fendi moved in and are settling in nicely. The dogs of course enjoys the extra bed in the livingroom which of course they use together with Carina as much as possible... ;o)
Fendi is doing very well but is more tired now, which isn't a surprise since it is less than two weeks left and she is getting very heavy and growing by the minute.

WALKS!

On Thuesdays before work we have been trying to walk with our friends Maria and Indy. Last Thuesday I brought my camera with me even thoug the weather was pretty grey and boring.
Indy is Yaya's first boyfriend and they get along great. But Yaya has outgrown him and play pretty rough... but Indy is learning how to use is sharkteeth to keep her on a distance! ;o)

Today Fendi is on day 42 which means it is only 3 weeks left! So this week everything is getting ready at home for Fendi (and Carina's) arrival next weekend!
We went for a walk in the woods with them today and Fendi is still playing and running happily in the woods. I have to say that it is something that has surprised me. I thought that she would be even more tired and "boring" by now. I guess that she will soon calm down more and more but it is very nice to see her still being so happy! She runs around with that heavy belly and a wagging tail! Cutie Fendi!

PLAYTIME IN THE SUN!

On Sunday we met up with Johanna and Wilson for a walk on the golfcourse. It was uckily enough not many people there so the dogs had a lot of room to play in!
PLENTY of pictures below!

In the afternoon me and the dogs drove to our old neighbourhood to meet Carina, Fendi and Vegas. We took a short walk with them and took some new photos of Fendi. You can see those pictures HERE. She has now passed halftime so the countdown has started. She is doing so well being very happy and seem to be feeling just great. Begging for food and if she isn't given any she starts to look for it herself... indoors and outdoors! Hopefully many pups in that belly that needs to be fed!
Thank you Carina for a nice afternoon and very nice cake!

On Monday after work Dando and Moa got to go swimming again. We have had a little break over the winter but I will try to start letting them swim again when we have some extra time over! It it difficult to fit everything I want to do into one scheduele... Obedience, tracking, swimming, playing, mindgames, walks, showtraining.. and of course quality time on the couch!

SHE STRIKES AGAIN!

Today we went to Sollentuna for another show. This time inofficiell but no more puppyclass... Both Yaya and Wilson had to compete with the grown ups today!
First out was Wilson who charmed the judge with his lovely moves which gave him an Honours Prize. Judge today was Lisa Druse, Sweden.
Her thouthts on Wilson:

"Maskuline young male. Dark eyes, good pigmentation. Strong noble neck. Masculine start of back, strong topline. Good angulation in rear, a meagre angulation in front. Lovely bonestructure. Good depth of chest. Easy, yield and groundcovering movements. Nice temperament."

After this is was time for Yaya. Her critique:

"9 ½ months old. Beautiful head, lovely expression and expressive eyes. Austere, noble neck. Beautiful topline. Well angulated all trough. Wellbuilt, lovely bonestructure. Excellent paws, beautiful colour. Easy groundcovering movements. Excellent temperament. Nicely handled."

The judge fell in love with Yaya (who don't ;o) ) and praised her to me. She said that this girl is a rising star within the breed and she wants so follow her in the future since she belives she will go a long way!
Those words warmed my heart!
Yaya went on to compete against an older bitch and won so she then met Wilson and Johanna (for the first time in the ring together) for BOB and BOS. Yaya won this and Wilson finished BOS, Congratulations to you sis!
Yaya also won the group final against four other dogs. This is the first time she competes against older dogs so I was very proud of that.

After this we had a break and went home to Moa and Dando for lunch and a walk in the woods. We walked with our friend Magda and her two dogs Lipton and Lotta. They had also been on the show so the dogs really enjoyed a good race and stretch of their legs!

In the afternoon we went back to meet our friends from our last show, Radko and Rizla who had made it to BOB and BIG-1 in the puppyclass and also had a BIS-final to look forward to.
Sweetie Rizla was BIS-2 puppy in stiff competition and my little girl was BIS-5 adult for judge Thord Byström.
Thank you ALL for a great day in great company!

I was very proud of this result since she is just a "baby" amongst all the adult dogs! Her next show will be her first official show at Lilla Stockholm making her real debute in Juniorclass. So see you all then!

SOME SUN AND A LOT OF SNOW!

On Saturday we finally had a nice walk in the sun. The camera got to tag along and you can see a few pictures below. After the nice walk Wilson was dropped off to me to spend the rest of the weekend with us. Yaya has now finished her heat but still smells pretty nice...

On Sunday we had some great visitors in Bosco with Sandra and Jocke and Fendi with Carina and Micke. We went for a nice but very snowy walk together with a great group of potential puppybyers. Today the sun wasn't shining but that didn't stop us from having some coffee/hot chocolate and cookies outdoors! Of course the camera got to come along so a few pictures from todays walk HERE.

Thank you all for a great day!

After the walk Carina, Micke and Fendi went back with me to my place for a new stacked picture and meassurements of Fendi who is now on day 28. See the results HERE.

PHOTOSESSIONS... NOT ALWAYS EASY!

Well, when the sun isn't shining my camera comes out a little bit more at home. Since it is still quite new I am still trying to learn how to use it in the best way to get the best possible pictures.
I need to be prepared for when the puppies arrive!

This means that my dogs needs to do some posing for me when I am playing with all the different buttons on the camera. I am not sure if it always appreciated! ;o)

Below are pictures from one of those photosessions and also a few from one of our grey walks this past weekend. Enjoy!

Yaya -"What do you mean I should wake up and pose for the camera?"

Yaya -"But I am sleeeeeping!"

Yaya-"Oh Mum you are such a pain in the ... I am cute like this to!"

Yaya -"Oh, you are so gonna get for this... I will steal some food tonight when you are sleeping... Hehe..."

Yaya -"Happy now? I am awake!"

Yaya -"This better? Cute enough?"

Yaya- "If I cross my paws like this, am I even cuter then?!"

Moa -"Oh no, don't start that with me!"

Moa -"I will only give you my deadface-look so just give up!"

MORE SHOWSUCCESS FOR YAYA!

Today me and Yaya and Johanna and Wilson went to an inofficiell show in Sollentuna. Wilson was rewarded a 1st prize but no Honours Prize today. He had other things on his mind than eating meatballs and liver in a showring... He was more interested in the lovely ladies outside the ring... Like Yaya still in heat...
He is such a teenager at the moment so not surprised that he wasn't that interested in me...

Yaya on the other hand still loves me and my meatballs and became Best of Breed (breed entry 8 between 7-10 months of age). She then won her group final and was BIG-1 under the same judge, Mr Sjoerd Jobse, Norway.
His comments on Yaya:

"9 months old bitch puppy. Excellent type. Very beautiful head and expression. Good strong neck and topline. Excellent angulation in front and rear. Wellshaped chest. Good legs and paws, nice colour. Moves with fantastic steps. Good temperament. Well handled."

After this we headed home to eat lunch, rest and walk Moa and Dando before heading back for the BIS finals. We were back around 1 pm as we had been told to and had a very nice looooonng wait until about 4 pm when it was our time to enter the BIS-ring...
Luckily after that long wait it was still worth it and she became BIS-3 for judge Åke Cronander.

We had a lovely couple for company all day long in Radko and his little girl Rizla (Rex Ventors Rizla). She also made it all the way to BIS-3 in her age group. Congratulations to you both! (From now on I am keeping band aid in my bag for future shows... I had blood from my thumb everywhere when I got home... how about you?!)

So, I have to say that Yaya and I has shared a very nice first Valentines Day together! ;o)

Pictures from the show below! Thank you Dad and Radko for taking pictures!

GIRLS AT HOME, BOYS GONE!

Today Johanna has borrowed Dando from me for a few days. She wanted to and since Yaya should start to come into the peak of her heat any day now it was just as good for Dando to get a few days off from us girls! Even though he is nutered he still knows what to appreciate in a girl so thought it might be nicer to him to not have to live with Yaya so closely when she is smelling her best!

So today we went for a very slippery walk before work. It's practically ice everywhere so it is difficult to let the dogs play without risking them breaking a leg!
But in the high grass it was good so the got to run around for a while before we continued our walk sliding over the ice!

Oh, I also have to say that I love my dogs! Yesterday after work I practised obedience with all of them and they are SOOO GOOD! They make me so proud and happy by doing the right thing with joy and a bit of humour! I had a great and fun time with them all and it just makes me so happy!
I really hope I can teach Dando every new thing for Obedienceclass 2 so we can compete this year.

Still no exciting news on Fendi. Carina said her tits looks a little bit more pink so I hope that is the case! I feel that I easily see what I want with things like that... So, more deep breaths and just more waiting!

EVENING AT HOME

Tonight we are having a nice and relaxed evening at home. After a bit of playtime the dogs are now all curled up on the couch!
Yaya (now also called Baboon-arse... ;o) ) is on day 9 of her heat and looking awfully big back there. I know I am being ridiculous but a bitch in heat isn't a pretty sight... Yuck!

Hm, anyway. From one butt to another. The days until Fendi's ultrasound are passing by very very slowly... How come the days goes soooo slow when you want them to pass by fast, and when you want the day to never end it always ends so fast?!
She is still big back there which is a good sign, other than that not that much. Today she is on day 13 so still a long wait for more signs...

That's it for tonight, I want to try to find myself a spot in between the dogs in my crowded couch!

OBEDIENCE TRAINING IN THE SUN!

Last night I was supposed to do some obediencetraining wit the dogs. First they each got a "searchsquare" which they all did well but in very different ways.
After that I drove to the dogclub and decided to start off with Dando. All the dogs are very eager to get out of the car to train and well, Yaya couldn't wait for her turn...
So she tried to squeeze herself out trough the car door at the same time as Dando which meant that I put my leg up to stop her...
She jumped head first straight into my knee which I can say kind of hurt!
So back with her in the car and me sitting down to rest in the front seat for a minute... When my knee felt better I decided to still do some fetch training with Dando which didn't involve any walking for me. But obviously my knee disagreed because it started to hurt like hell again...
So jumping on one leg back to the car I had to phone my Dad and sister to come and help me to drive me and the dogs home... Thanks to you both for helping me out...
So after a nights rest my knee is almost back to normal so no harm done! Except for a bruise!

So today before work I gave it another go and drove to the dogclub for some obediencetraining. The weather was lovely and the dogs behaved beautifully!
I can't wait until the evenings starts to get a bit lighter so I can do some more training with the dogs after work. I really enjoy it and so does the dogs!

Below are some pictures of my gorgeous pack of obedient dogs! ;o)

ONE WEEK AFTER MATING, FIRST HEAT AND PUPPYMEETING FOR WILSON!

It is now one week since Fendi and Bosco had their first mating. This means one week less left until ultrasound!
I do feel quite relaxed and not to nervous. The matings went so smoothly on what I do believe was the perfect days. And well, it's now out of my hands and I can't do anything but wait... (Take deep breaths Carina! ;o) )

On Friday Yaya decided to start her first season! After hearing all about what Fendi got to do I am guessing she also wants a piece of it! ;o)
Fendi left on Thursday evening and went back home to Vegas and Yaya started her heat the day after... so no rest at our place!
Yaya is only 8 months and 3 weeks old so I didn't think she would start quite yet. Poor Wilson had to spend the weekend with us which was a bit hard on ALL of us... He is not clever eough yet to realize that it is way to soon in Yaya's heat for him to even try anything... so he did... try I mean! But Yaya has been very good on taking care of herself keeping Wilson away.

On Fríday afternoon Yaya and me left work for anhour to go down to the Viking line ferry terminal. There we met up with Yaya's breeder Anne from Finland. We didn't have that much time to talk but at least Anne got to see her Swedish girl and how beautiful she now is! (Right Anne!? ;o) ) It was great to see Anne again and hopefully I will be able to come visit you in Finland later on this year!

After work on Friday me and the dogs met up with Sanna, Smilla and Saffran at Gärdet. After a nice walk with them I picked up a few friends and we all drove to Eskilstuna to spend the evening and night there at Natalia's new place. We had a great evening with Buzz, Singstar and Guitar Hero and of course not to forget the 3,5 kilos of sweets and crisps... Yummie!
Thank you girls for a lovely weekend! (And Michele... what would life be if we didn't live on the Edge?! Not at all as fun as our lives!)

Today we drove to Rosersberg for Wilson and his litters first puppymeet. It was nice to see my old puppyclass again! They have all grown up and looking very nice!
We went for a long walk and the dogs got to play. After that we had a nice lunch at Sonja's! Thank you all for a lovely day!

Below are a bunch of pictures that I took this morning at home.

MATING TRIP TO ÖREBRO!

On Friday afternoon me and Carina drove with Fendi and Moa to Kumla to meet up with Lotta, Johan, Maximus and Jocke.
Fendi and Bosco hadn't seen eachother for a while so they got to play. They had a lot of interest in eachother but it was still a little bit soon for a mating.
later in the evening Sandra joined us after driving from Småland. We had a nice evening with plenty to talk about.
On Sunday morning Fendi was without a doubt ready to meet her boyfriend and withing 10 minutes after letting them together they were stuck together. They got along so well and really liked eachother which was lovely for us to see.
They were both so good and calm when stuch together even though this was the first mating for both of them. After 35 minutes the came apart again and it was now time for some relaxing time.
Later in the evening we went for a fabolous dinner at Sandra and Jocke's
house. Thank you very much for that!
We had our own little entertainer with us the whole dinner "Maximus- the greatest charmer of them all".
On Sunday morning Bosco and Fendi had another date and was now stuck together for 20 minutes taking it just as relaxed as the first time.

I am so proud of both Fendi and Bosco for "knowing" what to do and being such lovely dogs! It was great to get some quality time with handsome Bosco who is now even closer to my heart! Such a calm and sweet boy!

Thank you ALL for a great weekend with you guys! Now the countdown has started for the ultrasound to see if this weekend has paid off! Keep your fingers crossed!

SUNDAY WALK WITH THE SJÖHOLMS!

This morning we met up with Carina, Micke, Vegas and Fendi in Haga Parken for a walk. The dogs hasn't gotten to play together for a long time so it was nice to see them together again.
Wilson thought Fendi was a real hot thing not wanting to leave her side... That young boy knows what to do...

After our walk my dogs kept on playing at home for a while before finally settling down on the couch. In a few hours we are going to meet Maria and her labrador Indy which we haven't seen for a long time. Indy was Yaya's first boyfriend so it will be nice to see the two of them together again!
Because of the bad weather I won't bring my camera this afternoon but at least below are a few from todays walk with Fendi.

Later on this week we will take bloodtest from Fendi to see if she is ready for mating, which she will hopefully be around next weekend so we can head off to Kumla and Bosco!

MIXED PICTURES FROM THE WESTCOAST!

Like I mentioned before we did have some time for other things than showing when we went to the westcoast last weekend.
We went for a nice walk on the beach and also found a dogclub in the woods! (Jippie! Guess who was the most happy about that! Me!)
The dogs enjoyed playing on the beach even if it is not the same as in the summer. No one walked that close to the water which I was happy about since it was freezing cold.

THAT'S WHAT I CALL A GOOD START OF THE NEW YEAR!

On Saturday morning me, Johanna, Moa, Yaya and Wilson drove to Tvååker and to my parents cottage. We spend Sunday chilling and walking on the beach and in the woods.

On Monday we went to Gothenburg for the first show out of two at My Dog. First day was a national show for judge Ligita Zake from Lithuania . This was Yaya's first official puppyshow and her second show ever. She behaved beautifully and even ran quite nicely without trying to play.
She won the puppyclass (8 bitches) and was BOS against Ghali Golden Bartess of a total of 12 puppies.

After that it was time for Wilson to make his debut in Juniorclass and he also did great winning the class with Champion Quality. He then went into Best Male with the "big boys" and made it all the way to Best Male-4! The judge praised him and especially his movements which she said was among the best of all dogs today!

It was then time for Moa to enter the Openclass and she did a great job as always finishing as 3rd with Champion Quality. She went on all the way to Best Bitch Reserv/5th!

This day was just great and more than I could ever have hoped for! I never thought all three dogs would do well under the same judge. But I am happy they did!

Today was the international show judged by Kurt Nilsson after a change of judge because of disease. Yaya was out first and unfortunately got scared of this judge and was a bit shy. She got nice qritique but didn't place as well as yesterday.
Wilson entered juniorclass and he also got scared of the judge who I think was a little bit unconsiderate about these young dogs. He got a 1st prize and classwin but no CQ today.
Moa was for the first time shown in Huntingclass which she won but she didn't get CQ, todays judge only gave out a few CQ and in the Bitchclasses only to the openclass.
I got the honour to show my friend Patricias lovely girl Sancy (Vereus Qoya Sancy Diamond) in juniorclass today which she won with Honours Prize. Congratulations Patricia! She is a great girl to show!

And I also have to give a HUGE congratulation and big cheer to my dear friend Liselott and her male Wesley (African Hunters Amazing Bolero) who got his 3rd CAC today and became Swedish Champion!!! I am so happy for you!!!
Thank you to both Patricia, Liselott and Johanna for all the pictures from the show!

When I have slept a little bit more I will try to update with some pictures that is not from the shows! We did do other things to down on the westcoast.. but those pictures will just have to wait! So until then enjoy some pictures of the dogs from the show!

A LOVELY WALK TO START OFF THE NEW YEAR!

Johanna and me met up around lunchtime to walk the dogs together. Before that I had laid a track for Moa and Dando to let them take later that day.
It has been amazing weather over the Christmas holidays. We have had sunshine for over a week now which warms my little photgraping heart! ;o)
It is so much more thankful to photograph the dogs when it is bright and sunny outside, no doubt you get better pictures. So as long as this weather stays you will be able to enjoy plenty of new pictures here in my blog!
So below are some pictures from our walk with the dogs playing and also me and Johanna having fun playing with the dogs. (The pictures without name on has been taken by Johanna)

When we got home Yaya had a little chat with Cevin my guineapig while I was cleaning his cage. This little gentleman is now 7 years and 4 months old which is A LOT for a guineapig. All my dogs has grown up with this little guy and he is so cool around the dogs. And the dogs are so good around him! Never any hunting there! A few pictures of Yaya and Cevin further down!

Early tomorrow morning (well early is the plan.. let's see how that goes... ) Johanna, Me, Moa, Yaya and Wilson are driving down to Varberg. There we will spend four days relaxing at our cottage and also attending the two day show My Dog in Gothenburg. Yaya will be in puppyclass and Wilson will make his debute in Juniorclass.
