WEEKEND WITH WILSON!

This weekend Wilson has spend a few hours with us when Johanna has been working. Yaya and he loves eachother so my job is to try to keep them apart... ;o) Wilson looks like he has been in a fight with a cat after they have played... scratches every where from Yaya's sharp teeth.
On Saturday we drove to Stora Skuggan and played on one of the big fields. Yaya had to stay in a lead but the "big" dogs got to play.
Suddenly my phone rings and it's Carina who just happend to be at the same place. Carina and Micke had driven there for the first time to walk the dogs. What a great coinscident! So the dogs got to play some more and Wilson now fell in love with Fendi and had to show off his moves... Hrmm...
Of course I took the opportunity to use Carina to help me take some new stacks of him. I thought it might go a bit better now when he had played and had less energy trying to get to the other dogs... so maybe he could focus now... (See the results in his photoalbum)

Here are some pictures from our walk.

FINALLY SOME UPDATES!

I have now had a week off which has been great since I moved to my new apartment last Thuesday. A lot of things had been done before that, but there is still some painting to do and always that small stuff here and there...

I just got my interne????^?t to work today so here are plenty of updates from the past two weeks at once!So let's see where to start! Like I mentioned we moved on Thuesday last week and I had my last few days at work after that before my holiday.

On Wednesday my friend Magda who is in the same class as me studying to become a dogtrainer picked up Dando. She is also training to be a dog psychologist and she had four days of chantarellesearch in her education. So she borrowed Dando for this which was great timing for me because of the move. He was a bit slow at the start but eventualy got the hang of it and did great!

On Friday morning I signed the last papers on my apartment that I've sold and then went straight to my dogtrainer class. This weekend we had klickertraining. Yaya and Moa got to try it out and did great, offering several behaviours. The got to "play" with a box and follow a target stick. On Sunday Dando was back with us so he also got to come along. He also got to try some and we started with the "mousepad". He did awesome so since the weekend I have been klicking the dogs one on one at home.
My goal is so evetually teach Dando "rutan" for obedienceclass 2, but that is still very far away.

On Monday we met up with my friend Peter and his dog Java and went for a walk in Ursvik and the off to do some arrends in Barkarby. Thank you for your great company and especially the lovely IKEA lunch! ;o)
Later that day we went to see Johanna and Wilson. He gets so unbelievably happy when he sees us so I pretty much gave up any attempts on stacking him since he couldn't focus a????^?t all... he just wanted to play with Yaya... (A couple of pictures of him here)

On Thuesday we met up with Liselott and Wesley who we haven't seen for a long time. We went for a nice walk in Ursvik. I'm not sure if Moa was to happy about it, she was beeing followed by Wesley the whole walk and she didn't exactly appreciate it... But what can you do!? Pretty girls has boys running after them! ;o)
Thank you Liselott for a nice catch up and see you again soon!

On Wednesday we met up with Magda and one of her dogs, Lotta in the woods. Magda was going to teach me chantarellesearch with Dando. He knew exactly what to do, so it was just me who needed the training in timing my click and reward. Dando enjoys it a little bit to much, because he eats the chantarelles. So we are trying to make him mark when he founds a chantarelle by sitting down. At the moment he eats it first and then sits down... ;o)

Me and Dando chantarelle searching!
After our training session with Magda I went for a walk with all the dogs in the woods. They really enjoyed playing and running around.

We have spend a lot of time at home aswell, me unpacking boxes and trying to make the new apartment feel like home. Yaya has of course helped by chewing on things that she consider trash.. unfortunately we don't always think she same about that... Grrr....
But most of the time the dogs behaves nicely and sleeps when I'm busy at home, and they are really really cute cuddling together.
They have also been exploring our own little outdoor area. It needs a lot of fixing up but it will be great when it's done!

Today it was time to go back to "Åsen" to visit the family. We went to see Carina, Vegas and Fendi and of course took a walk around our "old" neighbourhood.
Thank you Carina for a nice few hours and get well soon! See you again next week!

I think that is what has happend in our lives since last time... Not that much exciting but we are keeping ourselves busy!

I promise it wont take as long until I update next time! So come back soon!

PLAYTIME.... INDOORS...

I generally have a rule of no playing inside... I haven't moved yet so my place isn't huge and not made for three dogs running around to play in... But well, sometimes they just have some extra energy that they need to get out of their system... indoors...
And I don't really have the heart to stop they since they are having so much fun together and I find it really amuzing to watch, almost better than TV! (Almost...)
So, plenty of play pictures below.

My new apartment is coming along fine. The bathroom, livingroom and bedroom is almost done. So not that much longer until we are moving.

THANK you Carina and Micke for watching Dando and Moa this weekend! I'm so glad they got to go on a couple of nice walks with you instead of having to help me paint...

For you out there who are curious of Fendi's upcoming boyfriend... You will not have to wait that much longer... He will soon be announced on this page!

WALKING IN THE WOODS!

Today before work we drove to the woods for a nice walk
. We haven't been to the woods as much as I normally am now because of the fact that Yaya can't go very far and because of us moving.
The dogs enjoyed themselves and the weather was ok, grey but it didn't rain.

Plenty of mixed pictures below!

Also we got a picture of Wilson swimming in the ocean for the first time a week ago. See that further down!

WALKING AND RELAXING!

This week we have been on a couple of walks in Stora Skuggan which is quite near where I work. It has been really warm so we haven't walked very far, but the dogs has still gotten to play on the fields.
Dando has now fallen completely for Yaya and has invited her to play both outdoors and inside. He is so cute when he plays, he pretends ti bite her leg and then he "accidently" falls over so that she has a chance to wrestle him! They look so cute! Big Dando and Small Yaya!
Plenty of pictures from our walks below and also Yaya's photoalbum is updated.

Moa and Yaya is also getting along great and having a good time playing. Moa is a little bit "boring" now after her heat and since it has been so warm. But she still puts up with Yaya's playfights! She even thinks Yaya can be a bit cute from time to time...
????^?
Tonight we went for a nice BBQ outside Carina and Micke with a bunch of people. The dogs behaved, well, Yaya did anyway! ;o) Dando and Moa were very helpful keeping an eye on the meet!
Yaya was ereally cool with all the new people, children and dogs and slept most of the time!

Today I got the keyes to my new apartment and yesterday I sold my old one. So now we have three weeks to get the new p????^?lace nicely painted and decorated so we can move in.
Me and the dogs are going there tomorrow to start cleaning... Not that much fun but at least it will all be nice when it is done!
Welcome to come and visit us!

TRAINING TIME!

Last Friday and yesterday we met up with Johanna and Wilson at the dogclub for some agility. The babies Yaya and Wilson got to try out the tunnels and balance obsticles and the grown ups Dando and Moa got to do some jumping and more difficult things to.

Yaya has so far been amazingly easy to train in obedience. She reacts quickly and has great eyecontact. And of course it helps that she LOVES food! And not just food, everything thing that fits in her mouth will do!
For you who have met Dando knows what I mean when I say that Yaya is ten times worse than him when it comes to food... She will probably do anything for a little breadcrumb!

So the dogs got to do some obedience and agility and we also took a new stack of Yaya (see her own page) and a few headshots of Wilson who was now standing a little bit more still when he started to get tired... ;o)

Mixed pictures below.

BACK TO WORK!

This week I have been back to work, and the dogs have been with me. Yaya has adapted superb! A lot better than I thought she wouls. She is kind of wild from time to time so I thought she would get bored and cry during the days. But no, she has been calm and slept trough the days. During our lunchwalks the dogs has gotten to play and she hasn't even seemed to be affected by the heavy traffic outside of work either.
So I am as you can understand really pleased with this young lady!
At work Yaya has gotten a new friend, Indy, a black hunting labrador who is one week older than her. They are both as wild and get along great... maybe to well! They play in the same way which means a lot of wrestling and chewing... They both look like they've been in a accident after playing... full of scratches...

For the past weeks we have also been on a few walks with our friends, both Liselott and Wesley and Patricia and Moa. Since Yaya isn't allowed to walk or play to much that means a lot of carrying for me, or for my helpful friends. Thank you also for the nice pictures!

Below are some mixed pictures from those walks, work and just fromplaying in the yard outside our house.

FINALLY A REPORT FROM OUR WEEKEND ON THE WESTCOAST!

We drove down to Varberg on Thursday a week ago to spend a few days the????^?re, with hopes for some relaxing time in the sun. We walked to the ocean in the afternoon to let Dando and Moa stretch out on the beach and go for a swim. Yaya got to come along and she seems to like water.
She walked into the ocean without a problem dipping her feet in the water. Moa was in heaven! She loves the ocean and she is so much fun watching when she plays in it. She runs straight out into the ocean jumping over waves.

Look at me I'm standning in the ocean!

On Fri????^?day me and Moa was dropped off at the showground in Tvååker to attend the first day of two of showing. I didn't have any expectations especially since Moa had started her season earlier in the week, so I didn't know if she would be in "show"-mood.
But she must have been! She ended up 2nd best Openclass bitch and after that 3rd Best Bitch, only one placement from the CC.
I was really happy and satisfied with that. So, of course we celebrated with a BIG ice-cream later that evening!

On Saturday we came back with even less expectations, didn't think we would do that well two days in a row. But, I was wrong... Moa started off by winning the Openclass with 14 bitches and went on all the way to Best Bitch gaining her first CC.
After that we met the winning male Hannibal (Moa's cousin) and Moa won again, becoming Best of Breed!

I can not describe what a wonderful feeling it was to finally go all the way to BOB with my own dog! Not that I don't enjoy showing other dogs, but this was something else! MUCH BIGGER!
So of course I had to celebrate it real this time, and not just with a victory-burger... No, this evening we went out for dinner at a really nice restaurant in the harbor.

Thank you to everyone cheering for us! You (especially my best friend T ;o) ) all made me feel warm inside running around in the ring. (Maybe it wasn't you, only the really warm weather and the 1200 laps I had to run?! ;o) )
Thank you to Pelle (Batuulis), Karin (with Indra and Saros) and Louise (with Hannibal) for all the pictures from the show. Also thank you to Tina Gavling for helping me take some pictures after the show.

And not to forget, thank you to the lady who was kind enough to stand by me and Moa with an umbrella w????^?hile we waited to run into the Big ring/ Group finals! That was so sweet of you!

Last but not least... THANK you Mum and Dad for looking after Dando and Yaya when I was at the show! I really didn't think I would have to stay for that long on Saturday! But I'm glad it went so well so I had to!

On Thuesday it was Moa's 2nd Birthday! Of course she got a new toy (!) a soft toy that looks like a birthdaycake who plays "Happy Birthday" (over and over again...)
We also met up with Carina and Fendi to take some new pictures of the girls. I took the opportunity to take new stacks of Yaya as well.

Both my girls are such sweethearts and of course we have time to play in between our photosessions!

YAYA HAS ARRIVED!

With the best possible impression Yaya has stepped into our lives and is making herself a part of our little team. She has amazed me with her great personality and coolness. Walking along the street nothing seems so bother her, not cars, motorcycles, buses, bikes or people. She has her mind set on other things like sticks, pinecones and Dando or Moa.

We have spend this weekend pretty much just chilling, or at least the dogs have. Since I'm moving I have to get the apartment ready to show which means packing things up and cleaning. So when the dogs have been sleeping I have kept myself busy doing that.
We have mostly stayed on the backside of my house but also gone on a few short walks. She is already getting to know her way around both indoors and outdoors.

On Sunday I went to World Dog Show to show Vegas (Hamnuddens De Stijl), so Micke (his owner) got to watch my dogs while I was away. Vegas did well recieving Excellent but wasn't placed in the large Championclass.
It went better for his daughter Fendi who was rewarded Excellent-4 in Openclass bitches in stiff competition with 40 entries!
Fendis (and Moas) mum Rex Ventors Isola was Excellent-2 in a large Championbitch class. Congratulations to you all!

I now have a week off work and we will spend most of the time at home, but on Thursday we are driving to Varberg to spend a few days at our house ????^? there so that Yaya will get to see something else!

On Monday I went to see an apartment in Helenelund, Sollentuna. It needs some work but has great potential, so... I decided I wanted it! If everything goes well I'm signing the papers tomorrow and then it's mine from August 1st.
It is 65 m2, 2 rooms and a big kitchen and bathroom. And not to forget, it's own outdoor deck with fence around towards a big grassarea????^?!
So on my freetime (!) this summer me and my helpful parents will be renovading this apartment and making it perfect! And so I'm selling my nice little apartment in Hägersten. It feels a bit strange that I will move away after fours years here, and five years on the South side. But I guess it's time to go back to the North side now... I will miss both the apartment but mostly the great company from the best neighbours ever, Carina and Micke! But I will only live about 20 minutes away so it isn't to bad...

Today after work I drove to SEA and met up with Liselott and Wesley who we haven't seen for a while. Dando has a crush on both of them and always get so excited when he sees them! Shaking his whole body in happiness and making little sounds!
We walked to the lake Gömman where the dogs got to swim and play!
I have some mixed pictures of the dogs below. Unfortunately not many with them all together... they were moving to much...

Now I have one day tomorrow to "rest" my head before Yaya arrives on Friday... I'm guessing no more sleep-ins for a while...

On Friday we left with my Dad and brother-in-law and drove to our cottage in Småland. I needed to get away from town for a few days and just relax! And I think so did the dogs!
We have spend pretty much all our time outdoors walking, helping the hunters, tracking, training and of course just been lazy! Moa absolutely loves the freedom and you hardly ever see her in the garden. Most of the time she is off walking ????^?on her own nearby.
She also takes her job as a guarddog very seriously always letting me know when one of the hunters is on his way. Only when I've seen them ten times that day I don't need to know anymore... ;o)
Dando loves to just chill with the boys and relax in the grass. Neither one of the dogs are to fond of the bugs though... They have probably swallowed about a hundred each this weekend... urk...
It's been a good weekend but it feels good to be home. I only work four days this week aswell before going to Helsinki to visit.... with three of my closest friends! It will so nice to go on a cruise with you girls! I can't wait!

Enjoy the pictures from our weekend below!

Friday 2008-06-13

Today I have the day off and also the weekend. So in the afternoon I will be going down to Småland to spend the weekend there. It will be nice to get out of town for a few days. We will try do some fieldtracking since we haven't done that for a while.
And if the weather is good I'm hoping for some swimming in the lake! Pictures will of course be added next week!

Next friday I'm going to Finland to meet Anne Sassi at kennel Tarujen and meet my girl for the first time! I am really exited and counting the days!
I hope sh????^?e will be what I am hoping for, beacuse then she will be coming over here two weeks later! Cross you fingers!

I have a little bug on the page which I hope will soon be fixed. My updates on the startpage doesn't appear right away, yo have to press Startpage in the meny to see the last update.
I hope this will be sorted soon!

I ALSO WANT TO CONGRATULATE MY FRIEND MAGDA AND HER DOG LOTTA WHO BECAME SVCH TODAY!
